Abstract

Under these conditions, suppress the dissipation of energy and attention on energy conservation becomes an important thing to do. Source of energy for the process of sugar production in sugar mills Kebon Agung Malang generated from the boiler in the form of steam. The plant operates using 2 pieces of boiler, Boiler Yoshimine H-2700 with a capacity of 80 tons / hour and Boiler Yoshimine H-3500 with a capacity of 100 tons / hour. This study aims to determine the efficiency of boilers used and assess energy conservation in the boiler. During this study, the boiler is in operation with fuel bagasse (bagasse). Data is collected by recording directly from the control panel. Data is taken every hour for 24 hours a day, the study was conducted for 30 days. Research shows the average thermal efficiency by the heat balance method for the Boiler Yoshimine H-2700 was 74.8% and Boiler Yoshimine H-3500 was 73.9%. Sankey Diagrams Based on the amount of heat entering the steam boiler for the second kettle is 1713.194 kcal / kg. Heat lost to Boiler Yoshimine H-2700 is 425.915 kcal / kg, so the heat is used is 1287.279 kcal / kg. While the heat lost to Boiler Yoshimine H-3500 is 445.653 kcal / kg, so the heat is used is 1267.541 kcal / kg.Key note : Boiler, heat balance, efficiency

RANCANG BANGUN ALAT KONTROL BEBAN ELEKTRONIK DIGITAL PADA PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK TENAGA MIKROHIDRO (PLTMh) OFF-GRIDMachmud EffendyStaf Pengajar Jurusan Teknik Elektro, Fakultas Teknik Universitas Muhammadiyah MalangEmail: machmudeffendy@yahoo.comABSTRACTElectronic load control device (ELC) at the MHP Digital Off-Grid (not connected to the PLN) replaces previous controls are still using analog systems (Machmud, 2008), because analog systems have drawbacks including: difficult to perform the initial setup of the generator voltage stability in the event of changes in consumer loads, so that the percentage error generator voltage and frequency stability is still quite large. In 2010 (Machmud) makes ELC models using Matlab with the PI system that is able to stabilize the voltage of the generator at the second to 8.These results continue the previous research by designing wake ELC using microcontroller system that is equipped with PID control. Series of ELC supporters were also made, among others: the sensor circuit voltage, zero detection circuit, and electronic switch circuit. Voltage sensor circuit that has been made to have the voltage linearity level of 0.997. While the time required to trigger the triac with a maximum of 1000 Ohm load is between 0 to 10 milliseconds.PID system is created using the C language and loaded into the microcontroller IC is able to stabilize the voltage generator in the event of changes in the electrical load. With menggunakann value Kp = 4, Ki = 0:01, the system is able to stabilize the voltage of the generator in the event of changes in the electrical load 100 and 500 Ohm 0hm in seconds to 8 parameters Kp in PID control system is applied to the electronic load control devices MHP does not cause changes significant at keluran controller, so its value can be ignored.keyword: PLTMh, Digital Control

Soft magnetic material (magnetic ferro) has been known since hundreds of years ago, but until now this process is still the process of making traditional process that is commonly used casting process. Casting process is still much to experience weaknesses and limitations, namely, melting energy is so high that no efficient, long process, the results can not be maximal, low dimensional accuracy, there is still further processes, and limited to certain elements, so that when it wants to make magnetic alloy of various elements or particles are still difficulties.To seek alternative production process of soft magnetic materials it is necessary to a solution or process engineering, on this occasion the researchers manipulate the process of soft magnetic material is iron with powder metalurgy mechanical alloying, in order to obtain the good soft magnetic iron and has high accuracy.In this study, researchers make the engineering process of soft magnetic iron production by mechanical alloying process based yan powder metalurgy local iron sands. Basis that the use of local sand backdrop of the results of the data that we can from raw materials and foundry industries penunjangsebagian materials are still imported. The ingredients are 100% pengadaanya still relies imported iron ore and materials are alloys (Alloy).The purpose of the study is the reverse process of soft magnetic iron by mechanical alloying of powder metalurgy process so that we will know the characteristics thermadinamika properties and mechanical properties of materials at various particle sizes up to the size of the micro / nano powder.Key word : soft magnetic materials, process engineering, mechanical alloying powder metalurgy

Contained in the waste leachate has elements glokosa (C6H12O6), Amino Acid and Ammonia (NH3), which will help the growth of anaerobic bacteria that produce methane (CH4) and carbon diaoksida (CO2). Humidity will be reduced as the discharge of garbage in garbage leachate resulting decline in productivity of anaerobic bacteria, thus maintaining levels of humidity (moisture content) is very important in stabilizing the productivity of anaerobic bacteria.In the humidity of 59.85% productivity waste anaerobic bacteria produce landfill gas in stagnant in the range of less than 10% CH4. With a circulation process of garbage leachate to maintain moisture of 67.25% are able to stabilize the production of landfill gases, especially CH4 concentration more than 25%. Leachate circulation periodically able to stabilize the moisture content of waste, from which the waste water content, it makes the productivity of stable anaerobic bacteria produce methane gas in concentrations between 20% -25% is quite a power plant of energy.Renewable energy was from waste to be more realistic to be implemented in full scale in place of final processing (TPA) / Landfill. So the need for energy for the benefit of the power plant could help meet the electricity needs of the community.Keywords: bioreactor anaerobic, leachate circulation
