Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of implementing the Discovery Learning model based on PowerPoint on students' interest in learning economics, specifically on economic activities such as production, distribution, and consumption, at SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap Aramo. This study employs the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach with a qualitative method aimed at exploring the learning process in addressing specific issues. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap Aramo with a population of seventh-grade students, totaling 20 students. The results of the research indicate that out of the total sampled students, 25% of them obtained scores ranging from 50 to 56, another 25% of students scored between 66 and 75, and the remaining 50% of students scored between 76 and 98. This research aims to provide a deeper understanding of the effectiveness of specific teaching methods on students' learning interests in the context of economics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the learning model PAKEM model can increase the learning motivation of 25 grade XI IPS students of SMA Negeri 1 O’O’U, in the basic competencies of Employment. The results of observations before improving learning in grade XI IPS, in this subject obtained the average student score is ≤ 70 while KKM 70. Based on these conditions, teachers conduct research to improve learning through the PAKEM approach. Therefore, researchers try to implement PAKEM learning strategies, which are learning strategies that can feature active, creative, effective and fun learning. The procedure is used in the form of cycles, each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, reflection. This research guideline uses observation instruments and tests of student learning outcomes in each cycle. The results of the study were obtained, there was an increase in student learning motivation in classroom learning. This is proven by the increase in learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II, namely from an average value of 73.23 (cycle I) to an average value of 85.25 (cycle II).

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the learning achievement of tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Ulususua in economics subject by comparing the use of constructivism approach with PjBL Model learning. The method employed is quantitative research with a pos-test only control design. The research population consists of 27 tenth-grade students, selected randomly using simple random sampling. Data were collected through written tests and documentation. The tenth-grade class is designated as the experimental class. Data analysis is conducted using the t-test statistical analysis. The research findings reveal that the average post-test score of the experimental class is 80.8, while the control class is 67.6. Using a 5% significance level, the t-table value for df = 60 is 2.02 and 5.756. The analysis results indicate that t calculated > t-table, thus rejecting the null hypothesis. Consequently, there is a significant difference between the use of constructivism and non-constructivism approaches towards the learning achievement of economics among tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Ulususua in the academic year 2023/2024.

Abstract

Teacher development efforts are heavily influenced by school principals. If school principals can exercise supervision and control and coordinate educational resources, teachers' performance levels will improve. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of the principal's leadership on the performance of BNKP Darodaro Baraekha Christian Private Vocational School. This type of research is descriptive and based on a quantitative approach. The research instrument was a questionnaire and the population and research sample consisted of her 38 teachers of BNKP Daro-daro Balaekha Christian Pocational School. Research shows that principal leadership influences teacher performance. Conclusion: As a leader, the principal is tasked with mobilizing all available resources within the school. The good performance of teachers in schools mainly depends on the ability of school principals to influence the behavior of teachers in carrying out their duties. Recommendations 1) School principals should strengthen their role as leaders in school educational institutions and improve the quality of their leadership, including providing continuous motivation to teachers. This motivation can be achieved by implementing a reward system for teachers who perform well. This helps improve teacher performance. 2) Teachers should increase their responsibility in carrying out their duties, follow the rules set by the principal as a leader, constantly discuss learning with the principal, and receive opinions and constructive criticism from the principal. We need to emulate the attitude. Always follow the principal's instructions for the student's progress.

Abstract

Based on the background of the problem, student activity seems to be lacking in the learning process, especially student activity in asking the teacher regarding the material being discussed, students do not understand the material presented, there is a reluctance of students to ask the teacher because they are embarrassed even though they are given the opportunity, but students only listen to the lecture. and do the exercises given. This research aims to determine the influence of the discovery learning model on the learning outcomes of class VII students at SMP Negeri 5 Maniamolo. This type of research is quantitative, descriptive in nature. The population of this research is class VII students, while the sample of this research is students of class VII-A and class VII-B of SMP Negeri 5 Maniamolo. This research data was analyzed using normality tests and hypothesis testing using the SPSS (Statistical product and service solution) application. The results of the two classes, namely the control class and the experimental class, can be said to be more students who have completed learning using the discovery learning model compared to the learning outcomes of students using the conventional learning model and while participating in learning activities using the discovery learning model it appears that in the initial test, students still did not understand the material presented, whereas in the final test after completing the learning process the students really understood what was conveyed by the teacher and were able to get through the assignments given with quite good learning results. Researcher suggestions (1) teachers should use the discovery learning learning model in learning activities because it makes students diligent and think more critically in learning and the attraction gained by studying social studies. (2) Future researchers should carry out this research with a broader scope.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the external environment on the entrepreneurial interest of restaurants in Pasar Telukdalam Village. The type of research is a quantitative type that is causal (cause and effect), with the population and sample being restaurants in Telukdalam Village as many as 32 people. Data collection techniques are questionnaires and documentation techniques. The analysis method is a simple regression analysis with a value of Y=9.598+0.777X. Based on the results of the hypothesis testing study with a calculated value of 7,020>ttable 1,697, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the external environment on the entrepreneurial interest of restaurants in Pasar Telukdalam Village. The suggestions of this study are (1) Restaurants should provide inadequate facilities such as places of worship, toilets, and wifi so that consumers are comfortable. (2) Restaurant business owners must have motivation so that their business grows.

Abstract

This researcher aims To find out whether the application of the Cooperative STAD learning method can improve the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Onolalu for the 2023 academic year.The Cooperative STAD learning mode is a group learning method where students who play a more active role learn from several topics that have been determined by the teacher which can improve student learning outcomes in studying social studies. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 3 Onolalu with the research subjects being students in class VIII Semester 1 of the 2023 academic year, totaling 28 people consisting of 12 boys and 16 girls. The research method used is classroom action research (PTK). Each cycle consists of two meetings plus one meeting for giving a learning outcomes test. The research results from processing the percentage of student learning completeness in cycle were 71.4% complete and 28.6% incomplete. Meanwhile, the results of research in cycle II were 92.9% complete and 7.1% incomplete. The conclusion in this research is that the application of the STAD Cooperative learning method can improve students’ learning abilities in the teaching and learning process, student activity in the teaching and learning process without being in cycle II after implementing the STAD Cooperative learning method. The results of this research are the efforts of researches in collaboration with social studies subject teachersb At the research location, students’activeness in the teaching and learning process was visible in cycle II after implementing the STAD Cooperative Learning method Suggestions that can be given by researchers are (1) in carrying out the learning process, subject teachers should choose and apply learning models (2) teachers should use learning models that involve students actively during the teaching and learning process,(3) research results should be This will be a consideration for future researchers.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning results of students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 4 Lahomi for the 2023/2024 academic year, that the increase in learning outcomes of students who are less active in learning is caused by the learning model used. The aim of this research is to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes through the application of the Jigsaw Type Cooperative Learning model in social studies subjects. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK), the subjects of this research are class VIII, totaling 28 people. The instruments used were learning outcomes tests, observation sheets and photo documentation. Based on the results of observations of teacher activities and student activities, learning improvements were obtained. For observations in cycle I, student learning outcomes increased from 57.14% to 78.75% in cycle II. And observing student activities increased from 69.57% in cycle I to 92.8% in cycle II. Student learning completion in cycle I was 69.57, but still did not meet the criteria for learning completeness. In cycle II, learning through the jigsaw type cooperative learning model experienced an increase with students' learning completeness being 100%, so they had met the criteria for learning completeness. Based on the level of student learning success, this has achieved the target of success. The conclusion of this research is that by implementing the jigsaw type cooperative learning model, student learning outcomes improve very well. Suggestions from researchers are that teachers should apply the Jigsaw Type Cooperative Learning Model to implement competency standards and basic competencies in social studies subjects systematically so that students master them completely and the results of this research should be used as comparison material for other researchers.

Abstract

Korupsi menjadi masalah yang belum ada solusinya dan menganggu perekonomian negara Indonesia. Kemiskinan, pengangguran, dan inflasi adalah masalah ekonomi yang terus terjadi di Indonesia. Namun yang sering menjadi pertanyaan apakah ada keterkaitan antara Korupsi dengan masalah ekonomi tersebut atau tidak. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan kausalitas antara korupsi dengan masalah ekonomi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan data dari BPS, KPK dan situs resmi lainnya yang menyediakan data mengenai topik yang dibahas. Analisis data menggunakan metode kuantitatif melalui analisis regresi yang menghasilkan bahwa korupsi tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemiskinan dan juga pengangguran, namun korupsi memiliki pengaruh yang besar dan signifikan terhadap inflasi. Peneliti menyarankan untuk mempertimbangkan variabel korupsi dalam memprediksi tingkat inflasi di masa yang akan mendatang karena pengaruh korupsi yang sangat besar terhadap inflasi serta diharapkan penelitian selanjutnya dapat menambahkan lebih banyak variabel yang sekiranya memiliki hubungan kausalitas dengan korupsi.

Abstract

The problem of this research is that students' activeness in learning and student achievement tend to be low. The research objectives are 1) Describe the role of teachers in improving student learning achievement in the Integrated Social Sciences subject class VIII at SMP Negeri 6 Susua. 2) Describe student learning achievements in the Integrated Social Sciences subject class VIII at SMP Negeri 6 Susua. Type of qualitative research. The data sources used are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, documentation. Research results: The role of teachers in improving learning achievement in social studies subjects includes: mastery of subject matter, management of teaching and learning programs, classroom management, use of media, management of learning interactions, conducting evaluations of learning outcomes, and carrying out learning follow-up. Conclusion: The role of social studies teachers in improving student achievement has been carried out well, but there are still many obstacles faced, both from student activities in learning, supporting facilities in the social studies learning process that are inadequate, which has an impact on less than optimal student learning achievement. Suggestions 1) Schools should program extracurricular activities and provide facilities that support learning activities. 2) For teachers, when teaching, teachers should pay attention to their teaching methods or styles which must be in accordance with students' learning styles. A teacher in teaching must prioritize students' understanding of the subject matter being discussed because if students do not understand it will result in low student learning achievement. 3) Students should participate actively in learning activities.
