Abstract

Lack of optimal use of learning facilities can hinder student achievement. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of school learning facilities on student learning achievement in economics subjects at Bina Kasih Private High School. The type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The research results obtained through distributing questionnaires to students stated that school learning facilities influence student learning achievement in economics subjects at Bina Kasih Private High School. Learning facilities make it easier for teachers to explain the material, for example teachers use learning media when teaching, so students quickly understand and understand the subject matter, learning facilities at school have an important role in expediting the learning process by maximizing the use of existing facilities at school, for example using tables and chairs properly. as a place to write, it makes students feel comfortable studying in class, utilizing learning media such as images, audio and so on makes learning less tedious and more interesting, reading books in the library will broaden students' horizons, keeping the room and school environment clean makes the environment beautiful and neat, so that we will be comfortable studying in that environment. Suggestions are: 1) Students should increase their use of learning facilities at school, so that student achievement can increase. The conclusion of this research is that learning facilities at school influence student learning achievement. 2) Teachers should pay more attention to students' abilities in the learning process and maximize the use of learning facilities available at school. 3) It is hoped that the school can maximize the school learning facilities that will be used during the learning process.

Abstract

The problem with this research is that students do not actively participate in learning and student learning outcomes tend to be low. The research objectives are 1) To apply the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model in economics subjects in class X-IPS2 SMA Negeri 1 Amandraya. 2) To improve student learning outcomes by implementing the Think Pair Share learning model in economics subjects in class X-IPS2 SMA Negeri 1 Amandraya. This type of research is Class Action (PTK). The subjects of this research were 25 students in class X-IPS2. The research results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes, and students participated more actively in learning, as evidenced by an increase in student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. The think pair share type cooperative learning model involves students working together with their friends, and students working together to solve problems. So it can be concluded that the application of the think pair share type cooperative learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class X-IPS2 students at SMA Negeri 1 Amandraya. The suggestions put forward by the researcher are 1) Students should be able to follow each stage in the think pair share type cooperative learning process because this will be very beneficial for increasing students' ability to always be active in learning activities in the classroom. 2) Teachers should study the guidelines for implementing think pair share type cooperative learning and implement them in learning. 3) Schools should provide encouragement and introduce learning models that can be used to improve the quality of learning in general and the quality of students. One learning model that can be used is the think pair share cooperative learning.

Abstract

The problem of this research is that student learning outcomes in social studies subjects tend to be low. The research objectives are 1) Describe the factors that cause low student learning outcomes. 2) Describe the role of teachers in improving student learning outcomes in social studies subjects. Type of qualitative research. The data sources used are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, documentation. Research results: 1) There are two factors causing low student learning outcomes, namely internal factors including students' lack of interest in lessons, students' lack of concentration during the learning process, students' low understanding of concepts, students' lack of discipline in learning. External factors include a lack of infrastructure and learning facilities, as well as a lack of attention from parents. 2) The role of the teacher in improving student learning outcomes is as a corrector, as an inspirer, as an informator, as an organizer, as a motivator, as an initiator, as a facilitator, as a guide, as a demonstrator, as a class manager, as a mediator, as a supervisor, and as an evaluator. Conclusion: The role of teachers as educators and instructors includes all efforts that encourage, guide, awaken, direct, understand the potential of students, vary learning methods, and use learning media as support in the learning process, providing optimal service to students in the learning process. carry out a more effective learning process and create a more enjoyable learning atmosphere so that student learning outcomes increase. Suggestions 1) For teachers, they should further develop learning methods or strategies that can help students develop their competencies and abilities and build knowledge actively. 2) Students should focus more on learning, reduce playing hours and increase study hours at home.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students being less motivated in following the learning process, students lack mastery of learning material and student learning outcomes are still low. The purpose of this study is to describe the efforts of teachers in overcoming student learning difficulties in class VII-B SMP BNKP Telukdalam. The results of the research found were teachers' efforts in overcoming learning difficulties, namely providing remedial teaching (remidial), providing repetition activities for material (enrichment), forming group work for students, giving homework, explaining lessons back to students who do not understand, providing opportunities for students to ask questions, providing learning motivation, developing good attitudes and study habits towards students. Suggestions in this study are (1) To teachers, teachers to always try, look for factors, and make strategies in overcoming student learning difficulties that have been carried out by teachers so far. Teachers should improve in providing motivation or encouragement to students to be more active in proper learning. (2) Students should have attention to themselves, for example, if there is a problem that is difficult to solve alone, they should consult the teacher or others who can help solve the problem they face.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of the Project Based Learning model in improving students' learning outcomes in Economics for Class X at SMA Negeri 1 Lahusa during the 2023/2024 academic year. The design used is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design. The research instruments employed are student observation sheets and teacher observation sheets. Based on the research findings and discussions, it is shown that: (1) The results from cycles I and II indicate a significant improvement in student learning outcomes, which have reached an optimal level. (2) The Project Based Learning model can enhance students' learning outcomes in Economics, particularly in understanding economic issues related to human needs, scarcity, and economic systems. (3) In cycle I, the students' average score was 72.03, exceeding the minimum completeness criteria set by the education unit, which is 65. The percentage of student learning mastery in cycle I was 65.3%, which is categorized as not meeting the target optimally according to the learning objectives. Therefore, cycle II was conducted, resulting in an average score of 86.15 with a mastery percentage of 92.3%, categorized as very good. These results demonstrate significant improvement. The recommendation from this research is that teachers should consistently encourage and motivate students to be more active and think critically in understanding the concepts being studied, allowing teachers to act as facilitators who guide, summarize the taught material, and evaluate students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

The background to the problem of this research is that student learning outcomes tend to be low. The research objectives are 1) To determine the application of the Mean-End-Analysis learning model in improving student learning outcomes in the Economics subject class X-IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Ulususua for the 2023/2024 academic year. 2) To determine the increase in student learning outcomes in the Economics subject class X-IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Ulususua for the 2023/2024 academic year. This type of research is Class Action (PTK). The subjects of this research were 20 students in class X-IPS. The research results showed that the evaluation results in cycle I, the average score was 60 with a completion percentage of only 40% and an incomplete percentage of 60%. Cycle II, there was an increase, the average score was 74.25 with a completion percentage of 100% and an incomplete percentage of 0%. The application of the Mean-End-Analysis learning model can foster students' enjoyment of lessons, foster and increase motivation in doing assignments, make it easier for students to understand lessons so as to achieve better learning outcomes. So it can be concluded that the application of the Mean-End-Analysis learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the Economics subject class X-IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Ulususua. The suggestions put forward by researchers are 1) For students, they should be more active in the learning process and independently carry out assignments given by the teacher without waiting for answers from their friends. 2) For teachers, Economics teachers should pay more attention to the suitability of the learning model used with the material being taught. 3) For schools, principals and teachers should always coordinate to create effective learning for students in an effort to improve student achievement and the quality of learning in schools.

Abstract

This research was motivated by students' lack of understanding of the material taught by the teacher. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of teachers in overcoming student learning. This type of research is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The results of the study found were the role of teachers in overcoming the learning difficulties of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Amandraya that had played an active and effective role through motivation, facilitators, class managers and supervisors. This role of the teacher can help students on learning difficulties by providing understanding to their students. Suggestions: 1. It is recommended for the school to pay more attention to students who have difficulty in understanding learning, especially if the student is an outstanding student, perhaps with cooperation between the school such as the principal, teachers, staff and parents together to provide solutions or solutions to help overcome student learning difficulties. 2. For teachers, especially teachers of economics subjects, it is expected to further increase their role in overcoming student learning.

Abstract

This study aims to explore innovations in Social Science (IPS) learning based on local wisdom by using Hombo Batu as a cultural education media in South Nias. Hombo Batu, a cultural tradition rich in social and educational values, is integrated as a tool in the learning process to introduce students to the importance of local wisdom in a social and cultural context. Through this approach, the study analyzes the potential of Hombo Batu as a learning medium that can strengthen students' understanding of the history, social values, and culture of Nias. The research method used in this study is qualitative, with a case study approach conducted in schools in South Nias. The findings indicate that the use of Hombo Batu in IPS learning not only enhances students' understanding of the learning material but also introduces them to the importance of preserving local wisdom within the context of social development. It is expected that the results of this study will contribute to the development of local culture-based learning methods to improve the quality of education in the region.

Abstract

The problme of this research is based on stuednt learning outcomes which tend to eb low. The research objectievs are 1) To edtermine the application of the CORE learning moedl in improving stuednt learning outcomes in social studies subjects. 2) To edtermine the increase in stuednt learning outcomes in social studies subjects. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research instruments were stuednt learning outcomes tests, observation sheets, and documentation. The research subjects were 23 stuednts in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Toma. Research results: in cycle I the aevrage learning outcome was 62.17 with a percentage of 43.48%, and in cycle II the aevrage learning outcome increased to 72.17 with a percentage of 100%. The application of the CORE learning moedl involevs stuednts actievly in learning, stuednts are able to organize their iedas well. CORE learning is useful for efforts to improev learning in an effort to increase stuednts' knowledge and unedrstanding abilities. Research conclusions: 1) Implmeentation of the CORE learning moedl can improev stuednt learning outcomes in social studies subjects. 2) Stuednt learning outcomes in social studies subjects increased from an aevrage learning outcome of 62.17 to 72.17. Suggestion: Stuednts should eb able to participate more, focus and collaborate in learning, especially when learning activities take place. For teachers, they should increase their mastery of teaching materials and learning moedls that will eb applied during future lessons, so that stuednts can more easily unedrstand and unedrstand the material proviedd. For schools, teachers who teach in edliebration should try to create programs to implmeent innovatiev learning moedls, one of which is the CORE learning moedl in various class subjects. This program should also eb supported by strengthening teacher competence in implmeenting the CORE learning moedl in learning.
