Abstract

The Al-Muhajirin Balongsari Mosque in Surabaya still faces obstacles in managing information and finances because administrative processes are carried out manually, which can potentially lead to recording errors, loss of archives, delays in information delivery, and limited access for worshippers to activity and financial data. This study intends to design and develop a web-based Mosque Management Information System to facilitate integrated data management. The system development employs the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology to ensure a swift, iterative process aligned with user requirements. The proposed system includes management of agendas/activities, income, expenses, donations/transfers, transaction categories, galleries, and reporting, with access rights based on user roles: admin, officer, and congregation. The system architecture is depicted using Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs), Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), Conceptual Data Models (CDMs), and Physical Data Models (PDMs) to ensure data connectivity and transaction fidelity. The implementation results indicate that administrators can oversee officer and category data and generate reports; officers can enter transactions, verify transfers, manage agendas and galleries, and compile reports; while congregants can access activity information, prayer schedules, financial data, and donation services online. Based on functional testing of the administrator, officer, and user modules, the main features run as expected and produce valid outputs, indicating the system is capable of improving the efficiency, transparency, accountability, and accessibility of administrative management and the delivery of mosque information to congregants.

Abstract

The transition of Vocational High School (SMK) graduates into the labor market represents a critical issue at the intersection of workforce policy and career development, particularly in industrial urban regions. This study examines job placement matching patterns among SMK students in Tangerang City over the 2022–2025 period using secondary data derived from the Job Placement Assessment implemented as part of Indonesia’s national labor policy. The assessment measures psychological readiness across seven dimensions—spirituality, social bonding, diversity orientation, communication style, skill type, global capacity, and business capacity—and generates recommendations for domestic employment, overseas employment, and entrepreneurship. Employing a quantitative descriptive design with a temporal trend perspective, this study analyzes aggregated assessment recommendation patterns to identify stability and change in job placement recommendations within an industrial urban labor market context. The findings reveal a high degree of stability across all seven psychological readiness dimensions throughout the observation period, indicating that vocational students’ core psychological profiles are shaped by long-term cultural and educational processes and remain relatively constant over time. In contrast to this psychological stability, job placement recommendation patterns exhibit a consistent structural pattern rather than dynamic shifts. Recommendations for domestic employment remain dominant across all years, reflecting the strong absorption capacity of Tangerang City’s industrial labor market. At the same time, entrepreneurship recommendations show a gradual increase, suggesting career diversification within a formal employment-oriented context, while overseas employment remains a marginal pathway. These findings indicate that job placement recommendation patterns in industrial urban areas are primarily shaped by regional labor market structures rather than by changes in individual psychological readiness. The study underscores the importance of region-specific interpretation of assessment results and highlights the value of integrating psychological assessment data with urban workforce planning and adaptive career counseling in vocational education settings.

Abstract

The development of social media as a means of interaction and economic transactions has also increased the risk of crime in the digital space, one of which is concert ticket fraud. The purpose of this study is to analyze the criminal liability for perpetrators of concert ticket fraud committed through social media platform X (Twitter), along with legal protection efforts for victims. This study is a normative juridical study, which is carried out through a statutory and conceptual approach. The legal materials used as references include primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials obtained through literature studies and analyzed descriptively and analytically. The results of the study explain that the perpetrator's actions fulfill the elements of the crime of fraud as regulated in Article 378 of the Criminal Code and the elements of disseminating false and misleading information that causes consumer losses in electronic transactions, as stipulated in Article 28 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 45A paragraph (1) of the ITE Law. Legal protection for victims can be provided in the form of preventive and repressive protection. Repressive protection is realized through a criminal reporting mechanism and a lawsuit for compensation based on Article 38 paragraph (1) of the ITE Law, Article 1365 of the Criminal Code and the UUPK. The study concludes that the existing legal framework provides sufficient basis for law enforcement and the restoration of victims' rights, but further legal awareness and oversight of digital transactions are needed to prevent similar cases from recurring.

Abstract

Global climate change has emerged as a major issue affecting multiple sectors, including the energy sector. Rainfall variability in Aceh Province ranges from low to very high levels and occurs almost throughout the year. This study aims to identify the correlation between rainfall intensity and lightning intensity around the 150 kV high voltage overhead transmission line, as well as to assess the vulnerability level of each 150 kV transmission segment in Aceh Province. The correlation between rainfall intensity and lightning density, as a climate change factor, was analyzed using an overlay method within a Geographic Information System (GIS) framework. The vulnerability ranking of each 150 kV transmission segment was determined through a weighted assessment of external parameters lightning-related disturbance history and Isokeraunic Level (IKL). The results show that correlation between rainfall intensity and IKL (Isokeraunic Level) values for each segment shows a generally neutral relationship in five segments 150 kV High Voltage Transmission Lines in Aceh Province, where rainfall intensity tends not to have a direct effect on lightning density along the 150 kV segments. One segment, Nagan Raya–Sigli, shows a positive correlation between rainfall intensity and IKL values during the 2020–2024 period. The Langsa–Pangkalan Brandan segment is the most vulnerable to lightning, with an IKL value of 52.22%, categorized as very high.

Abstract

Academic resilience is a student's ability to face academic difficulties, persist, and recover from failure. This study aims to test the effectiveness of group counseling in improving the academic resilience of eleventh-grade students at UISU Siantar High School. The method used was a quasi-experimental with a pre-test post-test one group design. The research subjects were 10 students with low to moderate levels of academic resilience, selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used an academic resilience scale based on Martin and Marsh's theory consisting of 25 valid items with a Cronbach's Alpha reliability of 0.876. The group counseling intervention was conducted in four sessions with an approach that focused on developing self-efficacy, adaptive help-seeking, self-regulation, and persistence. The results showed a significant increase in students' academic resilience after participating in group counseling, with a paired sample t-test showing a value of t = -2.858 and p = 0.019 (p < 0.05). The empirical mean increased from 73,200 in the pretest to 80,200 in the posttest, with a hypothetical mean of 62,500. Thus, group counseling proved effective as an intervention method to help students cope with academic stress and increase learning motivation. This study provides practical implications for guidance and counseling teachers in developing systematic intervention programs to improve students' academic resilience.

Abstract

Gunung Leuser National Park (GLNP) is one of the most important conservation areas in Indonesia, serving as a habitat for various rare and protected species such as the Sumatran tiger, elephant, rhinoceros, and orangutan. Nevertheless, this area faces serious threats from deforestation caused by human activities, including illegal logging, agricultural expansion, and infrastructure development. This study aims to analyze the rate of deforestation occurring in GLNP from 2008 to 2023, to examine land cover changes in the park up to 2033, and to assess community attitudes, perceptions, and participation related to deforestation in the GLNP area. The methods employed include multi-temporal satellite image analysis (Landsat 5 and Landsat 8) using supervised classification through Google Earth Engine (GEE) and Geographic Information System (GIS) tools. Data accuracy was evaluated using ground truth validation, along with an assessment of community perceptions and participation regarding land cover changes. The results indicate that during the study period, forest area decreased by approximately 18,822.71 hectares (2.38%), accompanied by an increase in shrubland and other non-forest land covers, indicating gradual land conversion. The dominant factors driving deforestation in GLNP include proximity to roads and settlements. Future deforestation rates were predicted using a Cellular Automata–based spatial modeling approach, which estimates land conversion patterns in the absence of mitigation measures. Deforestation in the GLNP area is closely linked to the role of surrounding communities; the findings reveal that local communities are generally less actively involved and less willing to contribute to conservation efforts in GLNP. This study provides important insights for conservation planning and sustainable land-use policy formulation in Gunung Leuser National Park.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the persistently high poverty rate in Indonesia despite the government’s implementation of various fiscal interventions and programs aimed at strengthening household purchasing power. Poverty remains a national strategic issue as it reflects social inequality and limited public access to basic needs. The objective of this research is to analyze the influence of government expenditure and household purchasing power on the poverty level in Indonesia over a long-term period. The study employs a quantitative approach using secondary time-series data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency, and the analysis is conducted using a multiple linear regression model to examine both partial and simultaneous effects among the variables. The findings indicate that, partially, government expenditure and household purchasing power do not have a significant effect on poverty, although both variables show a negative relationship that reflects a tendency toward poverty reduction. However, simultaneously, the two variables are found to have a significant influence on poverty levels, indicating that they jointly play an important role in explaining the dynamics of poverty in Indonesia. These results suggest that a combination of fiscal policy measures and efforts to strengthen household purchasing power remains essential for reducing poverty.

Abstract

Background: Patient satisfaction is a key indicator for evaluating the quality of healthcare services, particularly in inpatient care. It is influenced by both the quality of interactions with healthcare personnel and the condition of hospital facilities. Hospitals are therefore expected to continuously improve service delivery to meet patients' expectations and needs. ObjectiveThis study aims to identify the factors influencing patient satisfaction in the Inpatient Installation of Manado City Regional General Hospital. Methods: A quantitative research method with a cross-sectional design was employed. The study population included patients who received inpatient care at Manado City Regional General Hospital from January to August 2025. With an average of 134 inpatients per month, a sample of 100 respondents was determined using the Lemeshow formula. Data collection utilized a validated and reliable questionnaire. Analysis consisted of univariate statistics, chi-square tests for bivariate analysis, and logistic regression for multivariateanalysis. Results:The study found significant relationships between patient satisfaction and the following service quality dimensions: tangible (p = 0.000), responsiveness (p = 0.001), assurance (p = 0.006), reliability (p = 0.015), and empathy (p = 0.017). Among these, tangible (physical evidence) was identified as the most dominant factor influencing satisfaction. Conclusion: All five dimensions—tangible, reliability, responsiveness, empathy, and assurance—significantly influenced patient satisfaction. However, the tangible aspect (physical facilities, cleanliness, and appearance of staff and infrastructure) was the most influential factor. These findings suggest that Manado City Regional General Hospital should prioritize improvements in physical infrastructure, facility maintenance, cleanliness, and the readiness of medical equipment to enhance patient satisfaction.
