Abstract

The decision of customers to engage with Islamic banking products is influenced by factors that cater to their desires and needs, with Hajj being a profound aspiration for every Indonesian Muslim. This study aims to scrutinize the impact of promotion and corporate image on customer decisions regarding the utilization of the Haji iB Maslahah savings product at Bank Jabar Banten Syariah KCP Cikurubuk. Questionnaires were distributed to customers of Mudharabah savings products at the mentioned bank, yielding 20 purposively sampled respondents. The data analysis involved multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that both promotion and corporate image collectively influence customer decisions, supported by F counts > F tables (7.819 > 3.59). On a partial level, promotion significantly impacts customer decisions (t calculate > t table: 3.345 > 2.10092), while corporate image, unfortunately, does not have a significant effect on customer decisions (t calculate < t table: 0.683 < 2.10092). This underscores the critical importance of robust promotion strategies and the ongoing maintenance of a positive corporate image. The implications of this research extend to Islamic banking, urging continual enhancement of promotion efforts and corporate image management to enhance customer decisions in favor of their products.

Abstract

The challenges of staff retention and job performance persist as significant concerns for businesses, particularly in the context of Zimbabwe. While numerous studies have explored the impact of turnover intention on job performance, there is a gap in understanding the moderating variables influencing this relationship. This research aims to investigate the nuanced connection between decent work, intentions to leave, and job performance in the Zimbabwean banking sector, utilizing a quantitative approach with a causal design. The findings reveal a significant relationship between turnover intention and job performance. Moreover, it is deduced that all four pillars of decent work act as moderators in the association between turnover intention and job performance within the commercial banking sector in Zimbabwe.

Abstract

The province of Banten, as one of the developed provinces in Java Island, is expected to be able to drive the economy of other provinces. However, the good economic level in Banten Province is not followed by an even distribution of income among its regions. The Williamson Index value indicates that the inequality in Banten Province is still relatively high. Nevertheless, at some point, relatively underdeveloped regions can catch up with the more developed ones, so that the level of income among regions becomes relatively similar. This phenomenon is called economic convergence. This study aims to identify the tendency of economic convergence among regions in Banten Province and analyze the variables influencing economic growth to encourage economic convergence using a panel data regression approach. The research results indicate a tendency of economic convergence in Banten Province, with variables such as the number of poor people, the Human Development Index (HDI), and the unemployment rate playing significant roles in economic convergence.

Abstract

The research examines the influence of ZISWAF funds acceptance, BOPO, and non-operational profit/loss on GWM in Islamic banks in Indonesia, with firm size as a moderating variable. ZISWAF funds contribute to the growth of the Islamic economy, BOPO measures operational efficiency, and non-operational profit/loss involves income or expenses outside main operations. Using panel data regression with a Fixed Effect Model, the study finds that the independent variables do not significantly affect GWM. The coefficient of determination shows that 16.56% of company value is explained by institutional ownership and capital structure. Methodology includes Chow, Hausman, or LM tests, and classic assumption tests like normality, multicollinearity, and heteroskedasticity. Liquidity management strategies are influenced by BOPO, non-operational profit/loss, and ZISWAF funds, impacting GWM policy. The effects of these variables on GWM can be moderated by company size, as revealed through Panel Data Regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA).

Abstract

Poverty and unemployment in Indonesia are currently problems of economic growth that are difficult to solve due to the unequal and unequal distribution of wealth or income among individuals in society itself. The existence of zakat is an important role in overcoming this. However, the zakat instrument is still felt to be less than optimal. The purpose of this writing is to examine the role of zakat in economic growth from an Islamic economic perspective, as well as study the challenges and opportunities in managing zakat, especially in the modern era. The research method used in this research is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. The results of the research show that zakat plays an important role in economic growth according to an Islamic economic perspective. Economic growth is measured through an increase in per capita income, a decrease in unemployment, and a decrease in poverty. As an Islamic economic instrument, zakat helps achieve these indicators by ensuring a more equitable distribution of income and poverty alleviation.
