Abstract

This study aims to determine how interactive PowerPoint learning media can improve students' creative thinking skills at SDN 2 Bulus Tulungagung. Using a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis, the study involved 11 grade 6 students. The results showed that the use of interactive PowerPoint media effectively enhanced students' creative thinking skills, as seen from the indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and detail. Students who were previously less active in conventional learning exhibited increased motivation and participation after using this media. The use of this media also contributed to creating a more engaging and enjoyable learning environment, which motivated students to be more enthusiastic in participating. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that interactive PowerPoint media is effective in supporting the development of students' creative thinking skills and can be used as an innovative alternative learning tool in primary education.

Abstract

The rapid evolution of digital technology has significantly transformed educational paradigms across the globe. This paper explores the impact of digital technologies on education, highlighting the opportunities, challenges, and innovations emerging in the digital era. With the proliferation of online learning platforms, digital classrooms, and AI-driven educational tools, the landscape of education has evolved to be more inclusive, flexible, and accessible. However, the shift towards digital education presents new challenges, such as the digital divide, the need for upskilling educators, and concerns over data privacy. The paper examines how these challenges can be addressed and how digital education can be optimized for diverse learning environments. Through a comprehensive review of recent literature and case studies, this study aims to provide a balanced perspective on the current trends and future possibilities in digital education. The findings suggest that while digital education offers vast opportunities for personalized and scalable learning, a concerted effort is needed to ensure equitable access, robust infrastructure, and teacher training. This paper concludes by proposing strategies for harnessing the potential of digital education to create a more inclusive and efficient educational system.

Abstract

This paper investigates the implementation of P5 (Project-Based Learning) in conjunction with learning technologies in high schools. P5 offers an innovative approach to integrating technology with traditional learning methodologies, promoting student engagement and enhancing problem-solving skills. By analyzing current practices within various high schools, this study explores the benefits, challenges, and outcomes associated with the integration of technology in P5 projects. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys with qualitative interviews from students and teachers. Findings reveal that while P5 facilitates active learning and critical thinking, challenges such as resource limitations, teacher readiness, and technological infrastructure remain significant barriers. The paper concludes by proposing strategies for effective implementation and scaling of P5 in diverse educational contexts.

Abstract

This article explores the integration of Indonesian regional cultures within the framework of the Merdeka Curriculum, a recent educational policy initiative aimed at enhancing students’ holistic development. Indonesia, with its rich diversity in regional traditions, languages, and values, provides a unique opportunity to embed local wisdom into the national education system. This research emphasizes how the Merdeka Curriculum supports the preservation and revitalization of regional cultures by incorporating them into the learning process. Through qualitative analysis of educational policies and regional cultural representations in curriculum design, the study identifies key opportunities and challenges in fostering cultural awareness among students. Findings indicate that the curriculum’s flexible approach offers room for local adaptations, allowing regional cultures to be presented in ways that resonate with students' identities. However, challenges remain in ensuring consistent and equitable implementation across the country. The study concludes with recommendations for enhancing the Merdeka Curriculum’s role in promoting Indonesia's cultural diversity, particularly through collaborative efforts between educators, local communities, and policymakers.
