PUSTAKALOKA: Jurnal Kajian Informasi & Perpustakaan is a peer-reviewed journal taken from the library of IAIN Ponorogo on Information and Library Science. PUSTAKALOKA is published twice annually (June and December) by the journal editors from the Library IAIN Ponorogo in cooperation with the Asosiasi Perpustakaan Perguruan Tinggi Islam (APPTIS) Jawa Timur. Every received article will be reviewed by the journal editors and external editors and reviewers who are competent in each related field. The review uses double-blind peer review before the journal is published. PUSTAKALOKA will publish selected paper under a Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike 4.0 International License. And, every article is free of charge for authors and readers.

Abstract

Data transition is a transition of data until it becomes wisdom. Why the transition of data, information, knowledge and wisdom is interesting to study, because science can not only be understood as the result of static scientific and legal theory, but science is the process, activity and ability developed by scientists to finally become wisdom. The main problem that occurs is the public especially the world of education more presented with various results of science that is ready and ready to use, without seeing the process of work and science activities.On the basis of this, we must be able to build the character of a scientist, the person who is always dissatisfied and always restless questioning and questioning everything, is critical of the results of knowledge that has been developed by the previous people specialized in the field of library science. A knowledge or information that will be presented to users in the library, must first be verified in advance where the data source and how interpret it to be understood by the user so the information received is completely valid and does not cause anxiety and debate. The method used in data processing by looking at relations (relations), then designed with a pattern (pattern) particular, and eventually become principles (principles) to be done and implemented together. Thus it can be concluded that to make the data into a knowledge and ultimately a principle that can be implemented by many people has become a necessity for information managers have a soul as a true scientist who does not have partiality so that science really stands above truth.

Abstract

Using technology people introduce themselves into a brand, a  community  could  accept  them  without  any  complicated  process. Librarians as supporting the development of libraries in an institution that requires a personal branding good on him, it is to change the public image of a librarian. Using theoretical approach this study dealts with a response to Personal branding of Librarian. This study argues that the presence of the Personal branding will defnitely have a big impact on the Library. A library that has a good image in the world will certainly be able to develop the programs to increase the support of its librarian Personal  branding. So  that  the  realization  of Personal  branding,  this institution will supports a good image.

Abstract

The folk games are the one development of object culture to must to the preserve. The researcher has researched traditional games from science various. The purpose this research to know folk games research through content analysis in Garuda RISTEK-BRIN website. The research method use analysis content with qualitative approach. The data collection through literature study from 13 folk games research. Based on result analysis found 5 sub themes consist of architecture desain, the type of traditional games analysis, school teaching materials, song traditional games analysis, and traditional games transformation. The research based on publication year has various year publication. The experience of publication year ups and down after sorted using journal names from the initial letters of journal names a to s. The language used in this study uses Indonesian with differences in the writing of the title, the use of Indonesian English titles, Indonesian titles, and Indonesian English titles. The research 13 studies has 63 types of traditional games with the number of games reaching 77. Folk games from an area become a cultural representation of the area itself. Hopefully this research will provide benefits for the reference and development of the next folk game research.

Abstract

Nowadays, the society still take advantage of library rarely. It is shown by a small number  visitors  who take advantage of references collection. One of the factors that cause this fact is literacu of society which means and ability to know, to evaluate and to use the needed information effectively. The literacy can be formed by user education program that firstly acquaints the user about the vast of library collection, services and informational material available for them, and secondly teaches how the attain those library banefits so they are able to search information and uis it correctly.

Abstract

Kualitas layanan merupakan komponen yang sangat penting dalam pemasaran produk jasa. Kualitas layanan yang baik akan memberikan suatu dorongan kepada pemustaka untuk menjalin ikatan yang kuat dengan perpustakaan. Dengan ikatan yang kuat, maka perpustakaan dapat menjaga loyalitas pemustaka untuk selalu mengunjungi perpustakaan.  Dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada pemustaka, sebuah pelayanan yang bagus dan berkualitas menjadi suatu keharusan. Karena tujuannya adalah untuk menarik minat pengunjung untuk berkunjung diperpustakaan serta memasyarakatkan kebiasaan membaca agar tercipta bangsa yang cerdas.Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi pemustaka terhadap kualitas layanan yang di tawarkan Perpustakaan IAIN Ponorogo dari sisi: 1) bukti fisik, 2) keandalan, 3) daya tanggap, 4) jaminan, dan 5) empatiMetode penelitian yang dipakai adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian  studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisisnya menggunakan metode Miles dan Huberman dengan langkah sebagai berikut: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian ini adalah: kualitas layanan di Perpustakaan IAIN Ponorogo, 1) aspek bukti fisik dengan indikator gedungnya representatif, penampilan pegawainya rapi, fasilitas kantor memadai 2) aspek keandalan, dengan indikator pegawai telah memberikan layanan dengan akurat dalam peminjaman dan pengembalian buku 3) aspek daya tanggap, dengan indikator pegawai memberikan pelayanan dengan cepat 4) aspek jaminan keamanan, dengan indikator pemustaka merasa tenang karena ada peringatan keterlambatan denda lewat surat elektronik dan adanya loker yang memakai kunci 5) aspek empati, dengan indikator pegawai perpustakaan ramah, walaupun ada sebagian pegawai yang tidak ramah namun tidak membeda-bedakan strata sosial dalam memberikan pelayanan, Sehingga sudah memenuhi standard kualitas pelayanan.

Abstract

This study aims to make a citation analysis of the scientific paper of a IAIN Purwokerto lecturer that has been published in an internal journal within three years (2015-2017). Using a quantitative approach is bibliometrics, a branch of library science that deals with statistics (mathematics). The population is all literature cited in scientific paper by the IAIN Purwokerto lecturers. Sampling of all lecturers' scientific papers that have been published in the journals Ibda, Almanahij, JPA, el-Jizya, Communica and Insania (6 journals) at 2015-2017. The data was obtained from the bibliography (citation) of the scientific paper of lecturers who had cited a number of 3,460 literature. The results of this study indicate that the form of literature that is widely cited is in the form of books (73.06%), the half-life of the literature is 13.5 years, and the availability of collections in the library is 54.42%. In addition, there are still alternative titles / library collection that make it possible to become an alternative reference material, namely a number of 156 library collection. It is recommended to lecturers in the IAIN Purwokerto environment to take part in the reference manager training, namely the application of writing citations (such as zotero or mendeley) so that writing of citation is more basic. This study recommends that an advanced bibliometric study be carried out, to dig deeper into the scientific paper of the IAIN Purwokerto academic community.

Abstract

Abstrak; Makalah ini ditulis dengan tujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang manajemen mahasiswa part-time yang telah dilakukan oleh Perpustakaan UIN Sunan Kalijaga. Hal ini perlu disampaikan karena masih banyak perpustakaan Perguruan Tinggi di Indonesia yang belum memberdayakan mahasiswanya untuk ikut bersama-sama mengelola perpustakaan melalui kegiatan mahasiswa part-time. Dalam makalah yang ditulis berdasarkan best practice ini akan dijelaskan berbagai hal dalam pengelolaan mahasiswa part-time, yaitu mulai dari (1) perencanaan program; (2) pelaksanaan program; (3) hasil pelaksanaan program; (4) sistem monitoring dan evaluasi; (4) dampak pelaksanaan program; sampai pada (5) perubahan sebagia akibat pelaksanaan program.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, maka diketahui bahwa program rutin kegiatan mahasiswa part-time di Perpustakaan UIN Sunan Kalijaga ini tidak hanya bermanfaat bagi perpustakaan UIN Sunan Kalijaga dalam memperlancar kegiatan layanan, tetapi program ini juga bermanfaat bagi mahasiswa itu sendiri, yaitu selain membuat mereka menjadi merasa bangga, juga membuat mereka menghargai waktu, membagi waktu belajar dan bekerja. Selain itu, bagi yang sudah bekerja setelah lulus, pengalaman selama menjadi mahasiswa part-time juga menjadi modal yang berharga dalam bekerja.Abstract; The aim of this paper is to explain the part-time student management that has been done by UIN Sunan Kalijaga Library. It needs to be submitted because many college libraries in Indonesia haven’t empower their students to participate together to manage the library through part-time student activities. In this paper that based on best practice will be explained various things in part-time student management, from (1) program planning; (2) program implementation; (3) program implementation result; (4) monitoring and evaluation system; (5) program implementation impact; until (6) change as a result of the implementation of the program. Based on this research, noted that part-time students routine program activities in UIN Sunan Kalijaga Library is not only useful for UIN Sunan Kalijaga Library to facilitate the service activity, but this program is useful for the students themselves, which in addition will make them proud, also make them appreciate the time, manage their time for study and work. Moreover, for them who have been working after graduation, the experience during being a part-time student also becomes a valuable asset in working.
