Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence the Non Performing Financing in Sharia Rural Banking in Indonesia (BPRS). As some of the factors analyzed in influence of Non-Performing Financing (NPF) is Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Exchange Rates, policy type of financing Islamic banks as well as the allocation ratio murabaha receivables rather than the allocation of profit loss sharing financing (RF). The population in this study was all Sharia Rural Banking in Indonesia (BPRS). Data used was time series data with quantitative approach and analyzed using OLS (Ordinary Least Square). The result of this research indicate that the growth of GDP had a negative impact on the Non Performing Financing (NPF) and significant; exchange rate had a negative impact on the Non Performing Financing (NPF) but not significant; profit and loss sharing ratio of return on total return of financing (RR) has a significant negative effect on the Non Performing Financing (NPF). Murabaha financing allocation ratio to the allocation of profit loss sharing financing and a significant negative Effect on Non Performing Financing (NPF).

Abstract

The background of the problems in this study is the decreasing quality of Sade hamlet amid rising tourist arrivals. From the environmental aspect, the conditions of the hamlet began to decline, in which the initial pattern of Sade has started a lot of changes towards the deficient and began to leave the local tradition. One effort to improve the condition of Sade hamlet in social, cultural and the environmental aspect is through the formulation of a sustainable structuring, the presence and identity maintaining and making a sustainable Tourism Village. Through analysis of AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) by collecting the perceptions of some experts through interviews and questionnaires, obtained by weighting the priority of the experts, namely the preservation of culture as an element of priority-level goals to be achieved in the development of Sade Hamlet as a tourist village at 0,476. While the determination of the level of the main criteria in the achievement of these objectives is the highest weight while maintaining a typical village environment at 0.319. Priority strategies that get the highest weight of the experts is that Sade Hamlet Revitalization with a priority weighting of 0.583. The second priority is the relocation of Hamlet at 0.235. Lowest weighting or last priority is Replication Sade Hamlet at 0.182.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and to analyze the impact of Investment, Education, Population Growth, Primary Export, and Manufacturing Export to Economic Growth of 24 countries in Asia. The data analyzes under the total 24 countries and disaggregate grouped on developing countries and developed countries. This study utilizes a quantitative research approach and the method of analysis is data Ordinary Least Square (OLS) for panel data. 24 countries in Asia for period 2004-2013 are used as the sample set. The result indicates that Investment, Population Growth, and Manufacturing Export have significanteffect on Economic Growth in developing country. In addition, Investment, Education, and Primary Export significanteffect on Economic Growth in developed country. The results imply lead a country must give support to the government for improve climate and policies investment as well as improve the education system and quality to encourage sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

SME based on innovation in East Java is the stimulus for economic growth in Indonesia, with the potential to absorb a lot of labor so the problem of unemployment can be reduced, contribution to GDP (over 50%) and contribution to the growth rate. However unprepared SMEs, because of poor access to markets and lack of reliable human resources (many SMEs are still not being able to categorize the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) affect SME based innovation in East Java has not been able to create strategies to expand its business. In other words, the potential of SMEs based on innovation in East Java has not been explored to the fullest. Based on the SWOT analysis, the strategy to develop the SME-based on innovation in East Java is strategy S-O (the orientation of excellent products to consumer preferences, fostering the SME-based on innovation, orientation to capital and credit facilities to the orientation of opportunity), S-T Strategy (institutional strengthening, creation of a conducive business), Strategy W-O (orientation clusters industrial centers of SMEs to various resources and information, production orientation to the broad market to market orientation specific, the orientation of the product packaging as it is to the modern consumer word of Mouth Marketing), Strategy W-T (based strategy resource to provide long-term competitiveness, establish close relationships with suppliers, training and education) and other supporting strategies (strategies to face of intense competition, the marketing of products strategies, strategies to choose business fields).

Abstract

Since its establishment, the WTO has been issued a lot of policies that are deemed by the WTO Dispute Settlement Body to violate GATT and other WTO agreements. One of the policies is the dispute on clove cigarettes between Indonesia and the United States of America. In 22nd of June 2009, United States issued an act called Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act, where the Section 907(a)(1)(A) stated about the restriction against the selling of characterized flavors cigarettes but excluding menthol cigarettes from the restriction. As the biggest clove cigarettes exporter to the United States, Indonesia is suffering from a huge loss due to the implementation of the act. This study aims to analyze the clove cigarettes dispute resolution process between Indonesia and United States. By using Scenario Building method, the analysis indicates the four dispute resolution scenarios. The scenario with the condition of Indonesia won the dispute clove cigarettes is the best solution because the positive impact on the economy, social and politics, especially bilateral relations between Indonesia and the United States of America.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh penetrasi dan penggunaan broadband infrastructure terhadap PDB negara Asia. Untuk mendapatkan hasil yang lebih detail, selain melihat secara keseluruhan, penulis membagi negara – negara berdasarkan kriteria – kriteria tertentu. Kriteria tersebut adalah bedasarkan lokasi (negara ASEAN dan non-ASEAN) dan berdasarkan pendapatan nasional negara tersebut (negara berpendapatan rendah, negara berpendapatan menengah rendah, negara berpendapatan menengah tinggi dan negara berpendapatan tinggi). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode analisis yaitu regresi data pooling dengan data panel. Untuk melihat hasil dari penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan sampel 18 negara di Asia dalam kurun waktu 10 tahun yang dimulai dari tahun 2001 hingga 2010. Dilihat dari hasil penelitian, menunjukkan bahwa ada keterkaitan dan pengaruh yang positif antara penetrasi broadband infrastructure dengan angka PDB negara – negara Asia. Hasil temuan ini membuktikan pernyataan dari Solow (1956) dalam teori pertumbuhan neo-klasik yang menyatakan bahwa tidak hanya modal saja, namun teknologi juga memiliki peranan dalam mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that includes emerging markets and focused on the manufacturing sector. In the manufacturing sector will require funds on production activities, and these funds can be obtained from the credit. Meanwhile in Indonesia, many credit activity conducted by commercial banks, which is closely linked to the credit of bad credit. Bad credit can occur due to 2 factors, factors debtor or creditor factors. The meaning of this factor is negligence bank creditors in the debtor's credit analysis. But for manufacturing companies go public, they can raise funds in addition to the credit of the fund shares, many people who say that companies going public is a healthy company because it has passed various tests. Seeing this, the researchers would like to examine the statement and credit analysis test using the Z-Score models Atlman on manufacturing companies going public in Indonesia. The findings of this study indicate that the Z-Score Atlman models can be used for credit analysis in determining whether or not a company bankrupt.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh dari faktor eksternal terhadap Non Performing Loan (NPL) di Indonesia. Dipilihlah 3 variabel yang digunakan untuk menjelaskan Non Performing Loan (NPL), yaitu Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Interest Rate (r), Inflation (Inf). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode regresi. Penelitian ini menggunakan menggunakan sampel berupa laporan kinerja bank umum konvensional untuk periode 2004-2011. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian sebayak 32 sampel. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh faktor eksternal tehadap Non Performing Loan (NPL).

Abstract

This research aims to find the impact of sharia finance toward the value-added of agricultural products in Indonesia, by using the data from 2005 until 2011. The OLS method was used to findcausal relationship among the variables, i.e. the value-added of agricultural products, manufacture products, and sharia finance. The result showed that sharia finance had positive significant impact on the value-added of agricultural products; meanwhile value-added of manufacture product had negative significant impact on the value-added of agricultural products. This is an evidence the important role of sharia finance in boosting agricultural value-added in the long-run, as well as for other industries.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of government spending, the money supply, the interest rate of Bank Indonesia against inflation.This study uses secondary data. Secondary data were obtained directly from the Central Bureau of Statistics and Bank Indonesia. It can be said that there are factors affecting inflationas government spending, money supply, and interest rates BI. The reseach uses a quantitative approach to methods of e-views in the data. The results of analysis of three variables show that state spending significantand positive impact on inflationin Indonesia, the money supply significantand negative to inflationin Indonesia, BI rate a significantand positive impact on inflation in Indonesia
