Abstract

Rice milling is a meeting place for the entire production process such as harvesting, processing and marketing activities of products such as rice and bran. This study aims to analyze the costs, revenues, Break Even Point (BEP) income, and Revenue Cost (R/C) of the “Berkah Tani” rice mill in Kaliyoso Village, Kangkung District, Kendal Regency. The study uses a case study method with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The research location was determined by Purposive Sampling, while respondents were selected using Purposive Sampling. The data used include primary and secondary data analyzed using cost, revenue, income, BEP and R/C analysis. The results of the study show that the total costs incurred in one month are Rp. 23,955,625, total revenue Rp. 33,037,500, income Rp. 10,587,500. BEP service price Rp455/kg, BEP service unit 20,494 kg, BEP price and BEP unit milling service are below the break-even point, BEP price of rice production Rp10,505/kg, BEP unit rice production 1,126 kg, BEP price and BEP unit for rice production business are above the break-even point. The R/C value of milling service activity is 0.88 which means it is not feasible, R/C of rice production activity is 1.64 which means it is feasible to run and the average R/C of “Berkah Tani” rice milling business is 1.38. The R/C value of “Berkah Tani” rice milling business is 1.38 indicating that “Berkah Tani” rice milling business is feasible to run because the R/C value is > 1.

Abstract

Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) play a vital role in enhancing navigation safety and improving the efficiency of maritime transportation. However, the high density of vessel traffic and the occurrence of maritime incidents within the Tanjung Priok VTS service area indicate the need for continuous evaluation of its operational effectiveness. This study aims to analyze the role of Tanjung Priok VTS in supporting navigation safety and to formulate appropriate development strategies. It addresses the research gap by providing a SWOT-based strategic analysis of VTS operations at Indonesia’s busiest port in terms of vessel traffic density. A qualitative case study approach was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis involving the Manager, Supervisors, and Operators of Tanjung Priok VTS. The data were analyzed descriptively and supported by SWOT analysis to identify the organization's internal and external factors. The findings indicate that Tanjung Priok VTS plays a significant role in supporting navigation safety through vessel traffic monitoring, navigational information services, and traffic organization. Human resource competence, monitoring technology, and standardized operating procedures were identified as the main strengths, whereas limited real-time data integration and increasing operator workload remain key challenges. The study concludes that strengthening personnel competence, modernizing technology, integrating information systems, and enhancing inter-agency coordination are essential strategies for improving VTS effectiveness and supporting sustainable navigation safety in Indonesia.

Abstract

Digital financial technology has expanded rapidly across Indonesia's MSME sector, with QRIS emerging as the leading cashless payment channel; whether this expansion also strengthens the financial literacy of micro-enterprise owners in rural trading areas remains underexamined. This study aims to examine how QRIS contributes to the financial literacy of a micro-enterprise owner, focusing on whether the transaction data it generates is understood, retrieved, and applied to bookkeeping, cash-flow monitoring, and decision-making. A qualitative case-study design was used, drawing on three informants—the owner and two employees—through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of QRIS reports, analyzed with the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model and strengthened through source triangulation. Findings show that although Toko Athira has used QRIS since 2024, its use has stayed confined to processing transactions; the automatically generated sales recapitulations have never been reviewed for bookkeeping, cash-flow tracking, or sales evaluation, and financial records continue to be kept manually in a simple notebook. The study concludes that adopting digital payment technology alone does not automatically raise financial literacy unless owners also develop the capacity to interpret and use the resulting financial information, pointing to a pressing need for structured literacy training so QRIS becomes a managerial tool, not merely a payment channel.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to identify and analyze some of the main references of perceived value and destination image. This research is a systematic literature study using the Science Direct web and Emerald from the knowledge-based science citation index web. Based on several phases of the systematic review method, this study found 17 main references from the Scopus rankings Q1 and Q2. This study also examines behavioral quotes based on H-index article. This study found that Tourism Management (based on the number of citations) is the most influential journal that examines perceived value and destination image. However, most of the articles are in the field of tourism and only a few have researched specifically in the field of halal tourism. Most of the previous research discussed the relationship between destination image and perceived value and only a few examined the relationship between perceived value and destination image. This review contributes by identifying research trends, dominant relationships, and future research opportunities concerning perceived value and destination image based on high-quality Scopus-indexed publications.
