Abstract

The implementation of Data Mining in the education sector aims to develop methods that are able to discover valuable knowledge from data generated in the educational environment. This can be used to increase learning efficiency by paying more attention to students who are predicted to have low grades. However, in its application, each algorithm shows different performance depending on the attributes and dataset used. In this study, a dataset of semester grades and final school exam scores was used. Some of the prediction techniques used are decision trees, support vector machines, and neural networks. Of the four scenarios for the science major at SMAN 2 and SMAN 3 Pangkalpinang with 3 different models, the Mean Squared Error value shows that the test results are in accordance with the testing dataset and can be used as predictions of students' final grades, namely the decision tree model and support vector machine. For the Social Sciences major at SMAN 2 and SMAN 3 Pangkalpinang with 3 different models, the Mean Squared Error value shows that the test results are in accordance with the testing dataset and can be used as a prediction of students' final grades, namely the support vector machine model.

Abstract

There are many landslide points on the Arso-Waris National road, so it is necessary to conduct research on the potential for landslides from the physical and shear strength properties. The analysis method uses Slope/W software from GeoStudio, using the Bishop and Fellenius analysis method. The results of the study on 4 points along the Arso-Waris section, showed that with a decrease in the value of the shear strength parameter, both the cohesion value (average decrease of 69.91%) and the value of the shear angle (average decrease of 92.77%) in the reverse analysis resulted in a decrease in the value of the safety factor score by 71.5% (Bishop Method) and 71.11% (Fellenius Method). The value of the smallest (critical) safety factor is 0,498, located at point 4 KM.105+193 in combination loading, by using Fellenius method. Changes in physical properties and shear strength have the potential to reduce safety factor so that there is potential for landslides.

Abstract

Delamination defects in breather pipe of flange products produced through the injection molding process are a critical issue that affects product performance. The objective of this study is to reduce the detected delamination rate by 3.77% from a total of 2173 production units, with a maximum allowable limit of 0.5%. The method applied includes identifying the cause of delamination through analysis by collecting defect data, analyzing through CFD (Computation fluid dynamic) method, and observing mold conditions. The proposed solution focuses on improving the slider motion mechanism of the mold and adding a gas vent with a vacuum system. Test results showed that these improvements succeeded in reducing the delamination rate to 0%. Further evaluation through X-ray analysis and microscopic checking confirmed no significant voids in the breather pipe and the integrity between material layers. The conclusion of this study confirms that foreign material, in the form of plastic debris and gas burn deposit injected due to slider mechanism failure and lack of gas vent, is the main factor causing delamination. This study is expected to provide comprehensive guidance for the industry in addressing similar issues in the future.

Abstract

The use of private cars has reached a total of 23,230,297 units. The number of car users, either for delivering goods, means of transportation, or for personal interests makes it easier for drivers to carry out their activities. Mobile vehicles have their way of keeping the car in good condition, such as automatic car services and clutch cars with different ways of handling. Car accidents cannot be separated from problems when traveling, for example, tires leaking due to punctured nails, crashing tires, and accidents stuck in holes. The limited number of people who know the location of the nearest workshop to the current location can cause confusion and have to ask people around from the workshop needed and there are still many motorists who have not been able to take good care of their cars Current technological developments I propose an online workshop application so that instead of asking people around it will be easier if from a smartphone you can bring the workshop itself to the location or the house, People can order home service services so that it is easier for people to check the car from home.

Abstract

This research explores the opportunities for YouTubers' digital workers today. The existence of opportunities to earn income from the YouTube platform in the form of AdSense, as well as other income opportunities that are open because of being a YouTuber makes people want to engage in this digital worker. Either as a side job or as a main job. No research explores the current YouTuber business model, making this research important to be used as an additional reference for those who want to become YouTubers. This research applies a qualitative method whose goal is to explore information in depth. With in-depth interviews with 2 big YouTubers and 2 beginner YouTubers as well as Employees of the Directorate General of Taxes, the author found that currently, the work of YouTubers is not as prospective as it used to be, because the competition between YouTubers is very tight, and the regulations imposed by YouTube related to AdSense are also felt by informants. In conclusion, to start a career as a content creator on YouTube, and then make it your main income for now seems less recommended. Apart from the fact that there are many YouTubers, it means that the red ocean or competition is saturated, also the adsense received turns out to be "change", to collect just 100 dollars can be a year as experienced by Susanto who currently has 18.8 thousand subscribers.

Abstract

Sexual abuse of minors is a serious problem that affects children's physical, psychological, and social development. The Child Protection Law in Indonesia, which is regulated in Law No. 35 of 2014, aims to protect children from violence, including sexual abuse. However, the implementation of this law still faces various challenges, both in terms of understanding law enforcement officials and obstacles in legal procedures that are not child-friendly. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of the Child Protection Law in handling cases of sexual abuse of minors in Indonesia. The research method used is a normative legal research method, which focuses on laws and regulations, literature, and documents related to child protection. The results show that although this law provides a clear legal basis, the main challenges lie in the lack of understanding of law enforcement officials, legal procedures that are not sensitive to victims, and lack of coordination between related agencies. In conclusion, to increase the effectiveness of law implementation, it is necessary to conduct training for law enforcement officials, improve coordination between institutions, and empower communities and educational institutions. With these steps, it is hoped that the protection of children can be more optimal.
