Abstract

This paper will discuss how the cooperative relationship between Indonesia and Australia through AusAID resulted in various assistance programs in the education sector during the Joko Widodo era from 2014 to 2019, in which this research will look at the effectiveness of the cooperation. Indonesia has pressing problems in the education sector. This is due to the declining quality of education in Indonesia and the alarming dropout rate. Therefore, it is necessary to take steps to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, one of which is through cooperation with Australia. Bilateral relations between Indonesia and Australia have existed for a long time so cooperation in the education sector between the two countries is considered to be beneficial. Indonesia has various policies in the education sector such as 9-year compulsory education and character education development. Meanwhile, Australia has a foreign policy in the field of education that focuses on assistance in improving the quality of education and direct assistance. The cooperation between Indonesia and Australia in the field of education can be seen in the implementation of programs such as the Education Partnership, Technical Assistance for Education System Strengthening, ProDEP, and Innovation for Indonesia's School Children. The cooperation program resulted in various achievements, such as the availability of educational infrastructure and facilities, improving the quality of educators and educational services, improving the curriculum for effective learning methods, as well as the accessibility of education quality in achieving gender equality and being disability-friendly. The author uses Liberalism theory to describe how effective the cooperation between Indonesia and Australia in the Indonesian education sector is through AusAID. Researchers see that educational cooperation between Indonesia and Australia from 2014 to 2019 was effective in helping to overcome various educational issues in Indonesia.

Abstract

The issue of gender inequality in the work environment such as gender stereotypes often occurs, one of which is at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Bah Butong Tea Business Unit, where the workers were completely unaware of this action. This gender inequality arises because companies operating in industries or factories where the dominant workforce is male, thus causing gender inequality to be avoided. Employees must be able to balance position and power like male employees in every part of the job. In this study, the researcher uses a qualitative approach where Sugiyono (2016: 9) argues that qualitative research methods are used to examine proportional objects and the role of researchers as the main instrument in the research conducted. Gender inequality in the world of work does not see the position in the agency. Gender inequality cannot be overcome only by relying on position, work competence, or physical strength. The women's gender equality social committee was formed in order to provide impetus for change and address these issues. The company provides broad opportunities and fairness for women to develop their careers. Through the women's gender equality social committee forum, efforts for gender equality in the work environment continue to maximize and provide full support for the careers of female employees.

Abstract

Pure Plant Oil (PPO) is oil obtained directly from pressing or pressing oil seeds, purified oil, or crude oil without involving chemical modification. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of PPO as an alternative fuel to substitute for HSD (High Speed Diesel). This study uses the Do Of Experiment (DOE) method which consists of two treatments, namely before degumming and after degumming. Degumming process is carried out using H3PO4 for latex separation. Neutralization process is carried out with NaOH solution to separate free fatty acids from oil or fat, by reacting free fatty acids with bases or other reagents to form soap (soap stock). The conditions carried out in the Degumming and Neutralization Process are Concentration (20%, 30% and 40%), and Volume (20 ml, 30 ml and 40 ml). The calorific value and flash point were used as test parameters for PPO products. The most effective amount of H3PO4 for use as a reagent during the degumming process is 0.3, where a concentration of 40% H3PO4 as much as 20 ml is able to bind Gum to Off-Grade CPO as much as 6 ml. The calorific value of CPO tested using a bomb calorimeter is 9,778 Cal/g and the flash point of PPO in accordance with ASTM D 92 is 287 oC, and is in accordance with the quality standard of Pure Vegetable Oil (PPO) as stipulated in SNI, Number 73/KEP/BSN/ 2/2006.
