Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Susi Air as an airline service company experienced a decrease in the number of passenger flights and cargo flights. This study aims to determine the effect of COVID-19 on the number of passenger and cargo flights and the way Susi Air has stabilized the number of flights during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method in this study uses a combined method or mixed methods. This study uses two types of data, namely primary data in the form of observation data carried out directly by researchers in the field, and secondary data in the form of time series data on the number of passenger flights and cargo flights of Susi Air Airlines at Nusawiru Cijulang Airport and interview data conducted with two operational staff. Susi Air Airlines. The results of the study show that the COVID-19 pandemic affects the number of passenger flights with Susi Air Airlines with a significance value in the run test, which is 0.000, the COVID-19 pandemic affects the number of Susi Air cargo flights with a significance value in the t test, namely amounting to 0.000, as well as the way Susi Air has stabilized the number of flights during the COVID-19 pandemic, namely by utilizing Instagram social media as a promotional tool, conducting ticket sales cooperation through the Traveloka platform, establishing pioneering flight collaborations between Susi Air Airlines and the Provincial Government. , providing discounts on airline ticket prices, and providing Charter Medical Evacuation (Medevac Emergency Indonesia) services as one of its service products.

Abstract

Banyak perusahaan mengalami penurunan penjualan di saat Pandemi Covid-19 termasuk Pancawarna Tour & Travel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi marketing yang tepat untuk Pancawarna Tour & Travel. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2021. Jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa posisi pemasaran Pancawarna Tour & Travel pada kuadran I yaitu maksi-maksi sehingga strategi agresif yang diterapkan. Strategi yang sesuai untuk Pancawarna Tour & Travel adalah: membuat paket-paket wisata yang diminati wisatawan domestik dan mancanegara, meningkatkan kerjasama dengan komponen-komponen pariwisata, memperkuat kerjasama tim marketing, meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dengan menjamin keamanan wisatawan, menjaga stabilitas keuangan perusahaan dan memperluas pangsa pasar dengan meningkatkan promosi di berbagai media secara offline dan online. Pancawarna Tour & Travel disarankan menciptakan paket wisata yang unik agar menjadi keunggulan kompetitif yang berkelanjutan. Disarankan pula untuk membuat angket kepada wisatawan sebagai bahan evaluasi tim penelitian dan pengembangan untuk lebih inovatif dalam membuat paket-paket pariwisata.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of growth opportunity, company size, asset structure of financial decisions with probability as moderating variable. This research uses secondary data in the form of financial statements of consumer goods sector companies which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period of 2017-2019. Total of sample in this study is 102 samples from 34 companies. The analytic method used in this study is Moderated Analysis Moderation (MRA) by using SPSS 25 software application. T results show that the growth opportunity, and asset structure have a positive effect on financial decisions, while size company has no effect on financial decisions. Profitability is not able to moderate the relationship between growth opportunity with financial decision, and also, asset structure with financial decisions. However, profitability is able to moderate the relationship between size company and financial decisions.

Abstract

Ship resistance is an important factor in ship design. Technological developments are carried out to reduce the magnitude of the ship's resistance. By reducing the drag of the ship, it can improve the performance of the ship with the same engine power as the previous design. In this study, we will redesign the hull of the Indonesian Navy's unmanned vessel in order to increase the performance of the ship's speed. The process of redesigning the hull of this unmanned ship uses the numerical method using Maxsurf software in analyzing hydrodynamic performance. The results of the drag analysis carried out with a redesign show a decrease in the value of the ship's resistance by 1143 KN and the required power of 9.98 HP. From the results that this study obtained compared to the initial design of 60%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pemanfaatan Kekayaan Media yang digunakan sebagai alat komunikasi Multi-Channel di masa pandemi COVID-19. Pemanfaatan Teknologi Multimedia dengan segala kekayaan konten dan fungsinya saat pandemi covid-19 menuntut lembaga atau organisasi harus cerdas dalam memanfaatkan berbagai aplikasi multimedia. Jika merujuk pada teori kekayaan media, maka sudah selayaknya sebuah Organisasi dengan kepemimpinan efektif harus memanfaatkan kelebihan setiap aplikasi multimedia yang ada, sehingga komunikasi multi-channel dapat efektif berjalan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di sebuah Universitas Swasta Al Asyariah Mandar, Sulawesi Barat yang berada di daerah dengan segala keterbatasan layanan jaringan komunikasi. Metode penelitian menggunakan mix metode yakni sampel analisa berdasarkan quisisoner yang disebar dalam tim organisasi dan pejabat kampus dan studi kasus berdasarkan observasi wawancara pada beberapa pimpinan bidang terkait di lokasi penelitian. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di lokasi penelitan penggunaan aplikasi multimedia efektif mendukung tujuan organisasi sehingga dapat bertahan bahkan secara kinerja kelembagaan berprestasi, meskipun di situasi pandemi COVID-19 melanda sejak dua tahun terakhir. Selain itu didapatkan bahwa komunikasi multi-channel dengan pemanfaatan teori kekayaan media, juga dapat mendukung berjalannya organisasi dengan baik.

Abstract

XYZ merupakan UKM yang bergerak dibidang industri tekstil. Produk-produk yang dihasilkan ialah berbagai macam jenis model pakaian ready to wear untuk dewasa dan anak serta design dapat menyesuaikan dengan permintaan konsumen. Bentuk transaksi bisnis XYZ merupakan Bisnis to Bisnis (B2B), seperti Ramayana, Matahari, dan lain sebagainya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi sistem kompensasi dan mengevaluasi jabatan, menganalisis faktor-faktor yang digunakan sebagai dasar penetapan gaji, dan membuat struktur gaji yang ideal untuk diimplementasikan pada UKM Konveksi XYZ. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis dengan metode tumpang tindih (overlapping). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa XYZ belum memiliki kompensasi yang ideal. Faktor-faktor yang menjadi dasar dari penetapan gaji adalah education, experience, kepemimpinan kelompok, percaya diri, kerjasama, peduli terhadap ketelitian & keakuratan, pemikiran analitis, fleksibilitas, orientasi pelayanan pelanggan, serta planning atau coordinating. Dengan metode overlapping, hasil diperoleh sistem kompensasi XYZ ideal untuk diterapkan.

Abstract

This research aims to be able to analyze the financial performance of the company before and after the acquisition of the company that made the acquisition. This research was conducted using descriptive quantitative methods by taking data from all companies that made acquisitions on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) with a time span between 2017-2018,  Sampling in the study used purposive sampling methods, with data obtained by as many as 15 companies that made acquisitions. For normality tests using the Kolmogrov-Smirnov Test method and hypothesis tests using the Wilcoxon test. The results in this study showed that testing to financial ratios for the two years prior to acquisition and two years after acquisition did not increase significantly. This was reinforced by the results of the test using Wilcoxon's test of the company's financial performance before and after the acquisition in Current Ratio (CR), Quick Ratio (QR), Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return On Assets (ROA), and Return On Equity (ROE) did not increase significantly.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low problem solving ability among students. This study aims to determine the problem solving ability of students who receive learning with a collaborative learning-oriented learning cycle model that is higher than the specified Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), Knowing the increase in students' problem solving abilities seen from the pretest and posttest scores. This type of research is quantitative and the type of experimental research with the form of design used is Pre-Experimental Design. The sample of this study consisted of one class with a total of 36 people, namely class XI IPA 4 SMA Negeri 15 Medan which was selected by random sampling. The result of the pretest score was 24,389 and the posttest score was 80,556. Based on statistical analysis at the translation level of 5%, the problem-solving ability of students using a collaborative learning-oriented learning cycle model assisted by e-module reaction rate is higher than the specified Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) value of 75.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the effect of the application of guided inquiry model based on video learning on improving student learning outcomes. (2) find out whether students' chemistry learning outcomes using instructional video media are higher than students' chemistry learning outcomes taught using powerpoint media. This research was conducted in November-December 2021 at SMA N 1 Sunggal involving experimental class I and experimental class II. The two classes were given different treatment, the experimental class I was given learning using a guided inquiry model and learning videos, the experimental class II was given learning using a guided inquiry model and powerpoint. This research is a quasi-experimental research design with the Nonequivalent control group design model. From the results of the study, the average pretest value of the experimental class I was 43.47 and the average value of the experimental class II was 43.19. After being given treatment, the two classes were then given a posttest to determine learning outcomes, the average posttest score for the experimental class I was 83.33 and the experimental class II was 79.16. The results showed that both classes experienced an increase in learning outcomes, the experimental class I experienced an increase in the value of 39.86 and the experimental class II by 35.19. The N-Gain data for the experimental class I was 71% and the experimental class II was 64%. It can be concluded that the guided inquiry model and learning video media can have an influence on student learning outcomes in the form of increasing learning outcomes.

Abstract

Advances in information technology and with the advent of online social networking sites, have changed the way consumers get information. This phenomenon has an impact on consumers, because the information is easily accessible and this greatly affects consumer decisions in making purchases. This study aims to examine the role of Brand Image in moderating Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WoM) on purchasing decisions. The research sample is a group of millennials who have Facebook, Shopee and Lazada accounts. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 100 respondents. The analysis tool uses regression and moderated regression analysis (MRA). The results showed that Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WoM) had a significant effect on purchasing decisions. Brand Image is able to moderate the influence of Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WoM) on purchasing decisions.
