Abstract

This work resents printed modified elliptical dipole antenna with a CPW-fed to CPS transmission. The proposed elliptical dipole antenna consiste of a CPW-fed to CPS transform, a pair of elliptical driver. The proposed antenna modified a conventional printed dipole antenna. The proposed antenna is realized a wide frequency bandwidth of 1.84GHz (4.72 – 6.56 GHz) at a return loss of less than -10 dB. The proposed antenna is able to support wireless communications applications.

Abstract

In preventing the spread of the Coronavirus, one of the protection measures for everyone is to avoid touching their eyes, nose and mouth, as advised by the World Health Organization (WHO) in their website. Viruses are easily picked up by our hands after touching many surfaces on daily basis. Once it is contaminated, our hands can transfer the virus to our eyes, nose or mouth where the virus can easily enter our body. The aim of this research is to develop a commercialized low-cost wearable called the Cov19-donttouch that alerts people from touching any parts of their face. The device is designed to mimic a choker or a brooch or a detachable device that will be placed near the neck area to sense the hand movement and will vibrate when a person is trying to touch their face. Cov19-donttouch uses low-cost motion detection sensor and vibrating motor as its main components. Through induction, the motion detection sensor detects human body movement (in this project: hand) and sends trigger to the buzzer that is connected to a sensor output pin. The sensor works well under one’s shirt or hijab for hand movement detection. The development of the device is achieved as Cov19-donttouch is a stand-alone wearable device where it does not need smart phones or smart watches to function. The device is equipped with battery as its power supply. All the components are encapsulated in a case produced using the 3D printer. Filament ABS is chosen for its durability and versatility as these are very important aspects since the device will be worn outside. ABS provides strength and higher temperature resistance. The Cov19-donttouch device will be placed on the neck to mimic a choker and it performs its intended function well.

Abstract

Heart disease and stroke are the main contributions to health disorder. Two factors influence the susceptibility of the disease, namely clinical risk factors and non-clinical factors. This study aims to analyze the effect of non-clinical risk factors on the susceptibility to heart disease and stroke. The non-clinical risk factors are stress management, age, obesity, genetics, smoking, gender, lifestyle (nutrition), lifestyle (timing rest), and physical activity. Analysis of the influence of non-clinical risk factors on susceptibility using statistical methods, namely descriptive statistics, normalization tests with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, validity tests, reliability tests, and correlation tests. The descriptive statistical tests show that the risk factors for stress management, obesity, and smoking have a more significant influence than others. While Gender and physical activity have more negligible effect than others. Testing with one sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test shows that the data is normally distributed. Validity testing produces 100% valid data. The reliability test using Cronbach's alpha of 9 non-clinical risk factor items resulted in a value of 0.684, which means reliable. Correlation test between 9 items of non-clinical risk factor shows significant between items.

Abstract

Anxiety in cancer patients is a psychological disorder caused because the patient faces uncertainty, worry about the effects of cancer treatment, and fear of the development of cancer resulting in death. A child's response to anxiety is varied, influenced by various factors such as the child's developmental age, gender, length of treatment, and previous experiences of pain. Non-pharmacological therapy is a treatment therapy without the use of drugs. Non-pharmacological therapy has significant benefits for reducing a wide range of side effects of chemotherapy including, anemia, thrombocytopenia, leucopenia, nausea, vomiting, alopecia, stomatitis, reactionallergy, neurotoxic, and extravasation. The main focus of this review literature is nonpharmacological therapy for anxiety of children with cancer During chemotherapy. To optimize this interpretation, researchers used the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) guide. From the Google Scholar database found a number of journals a total of 20 results, PubMed found 10, Science Direct 22. Then, the literature is screened whether it is in accordance with the inclusion criteria that have been set in this study. At the final stage only five journals were used for the synthesis process. All five articles are of such good quality that no one is eliminated from the critical appraisal process. Non-pharmacological therapies have significant benefits for reducing various side effects of chemotherapy including anemia, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, nausea, vomiting, alopecia, stomatitis, allergic reactions, neurotoxicity, and extravasation. Various interventions such as music, autogenic exercises, mindfullnes programs, virtual reality, guided imagery and progressive muscle exercises are considered necessary to be applied in Indonesia.
