Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of E-WOM and brand image on people's decisions to save in Islamic banks. The type of research used is quantitative research with primary data sources and secondary data. The sampling technique was determined by probability sampling data with a total sample of 88 people. Data processing uses validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression analysis test, t test (partial) and F test (simultaneous) and test the coefficient of determination R2.In this study, E-WOM partially has a significant effect on people's decision to save at Panyabung Sharia Bank with a significant level value of 0.466 0.05 and Brand Image partially has a significant effect on people's decision to save at Panyabung Sharia Bank with a significance level value of 0.432 0 ,05. Whereas simultaneously E-WOM and brand image affect people's saving decisions at Panyabungan Islamic Bank, namely Fcount 110.306 Ftable 3.10, the results of this study indicate that E-WOM and brand image have a distribution of saving decisions of 72.2%. , while 27.8% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Keywords: E-WOM (Electronic Word Of Mouth), Brand Image, Saving Decision

Abstract

In 2020, around 50.3% of Indonesian people frequently use ATM services for transactions. The impact of ATM on banking performance has been the subject of various studies in the field of electronic banking with mixed results. Therefore, further investigation is needed to obtain empirical evidence regarding the effect of ATM income on bank performance. This study aims to examine the impact of ATM revenue on the performance of Islamic banking in Indonesia for the 2016-2020 period.A descriptive statistical method was used, utilizing secondary data from a time series consisting of 30 samples. The analysis used in this study is multiple regression which includes descriptive analysis test, normality test, linearity test, simple linear regression analysis, determinant coefficient test (R2), correlation coefficient test, and hypothesis testing (t-test).By using SPSS Software Version 25, the results showed a significance value (sig.) of 0.033 for the ATM variable (X). As Sig. 0.033 0.05 indicates profitability, the hypothesis is accepted. This means that there is an influence of ATM (X) on the performance of Islamic banking (Y). The coefficient of determination (R2) yields a value of 0.152 which means the influence of the ATM variable (X) is 15.2% on the performance of Islamic banking (Y). The remaining 84.8% is associated with variables not examined in this study. Keywords: Independent, Shariah Banking, Performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of fintech on the financial performance of Islamic banking in Indonesia. This research is quantitative research using secondary data. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis, normality test, panel data model selection through common effect, fixed effect, random effect, panel data model including Chowtest, Hausman test, classical assumption test including multicollinearity, hypothesis autocorrelation test including t-test, coefficient of determination (R2) test, and simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there is a partial influence of fintech on the financial performance of Islamic banking in Indonesia (ROA). The more the development of fintech services in Islamic banking in Indonesia, the more significant the influence on the performance of Islamic banking in Indonesia (ROA).

Abstract

AbstractMany students have difficulty using mobile banking. The existence of mobile banking should make it easier for students to transact and give students freedom of time, quick response, and cost savings.  The purpose of this study is to determine the influence perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use on the intention to use Mobile banking. The concept in this study uses the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This model is a theoretical tool to test the extent to which a technology is accepted and benefited by a user. This type of research is quantitative research. The data collection technique uses questionnaires, documentation with a sample of 68 respondents. The data analysis technique used is using SmartPLS software version 4. Measurement models are used for validity and reliability tests, while structural models are used for causality tests (hypothesis testing with predictive models). The results of the study showed that there was an influence of usability perception on the intention to use mobile banking. And there is an influence of the perception of ease of use on the Intention to Use Mobile banking. In addition, the perception of usability and perceived ease of use explained the intention to use mobile banking by 0.902 or 90.2% and the rest was explained by other variables that were not studied by the researchers.

Abstract

The instability of profit-sharing income in Islamic banks, driven by rising non-performing loans, strict regulations, and rapid financial technology development, has encouraged banks to explore alternative income sources such as Fee Based Income (FBI). This study aims to examine the influence of Digital Banking transactions and Third Party Funds (DPK) on Fee Based Income in Islamic Commercial Banks during 2019–2023. A quantitative approach was applied using secondary data from 60 monthly financial reports published by the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The analysis involved descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, hypothesis testing, multiple linear regression, and the coefficient of determination using SPSS 24. The results show that Digital Banking has no significant partial effect on Fee Based Income, while Third Party Funds have a significant and positive effect. However, both variables jointly influence Fee Based Income significantly. These findings suggest that while digital banking adoption alone may not directly increase service-based income, the availability of third-party funds plays a crucial role. This implies that Islamic banks should optimize fund mobilization and enhance fee-based services to strengthen financial stability.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the initiation of a community economic management empowerment model based on sharia at the Al-Mukhlisin Islamic Boarding School with a focus on the economic perspective of the students. Islamic boarding schools, as Islamic educational institutions, have great potential in strengthening the economy of the ummah, particularly through a community-based approach that aligns with sharia principles. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data is collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the Islamic boarding school has initiated several sharia-based economic programs such as a cooperative Islamic boarding school, agribusiness units, and entrepreneurship training based on Islamic values. The empowerment model applied leads to the integration of religious education and productive economy, which impacts the enhancement of the economic independence of the Islamic boarding school community. This research recommends strengthening the managerial capacity of the Islamic boarding school and developing more structured sharia economic institutions as a strategic step forward.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of gender, income, and religiosity on payment method preferences in e-commerce transactions. Payment methods affect consumer convenience and purchasing decisions, but individual factors such as gender, income, and religiosity also play an important role. This research uses a quantitative approach with the SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square) method. The research sample consisted of 54 respondents of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in Padangsidimpuan City, which was selected using the Cluster Sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation. The results showed that gender had a significant effect on payment method preferences (coefficient 0.517, p-value 0.041), while income had no significant effect (coefficient -0.217, p-value 0.170). Religiosity has a significant effect with coefficient -0.289 and p-value 0.028, indicating that a high level of religiosity tends to reduce preferences for payment methods that are not in accordance with sharia principles. Keywords: Gender, Income, Religiosity, Payment Method
