Abstract

The Effect of Human Resources Competencies on Employee Performance through Compensation as a Mediating Variable (Study on Employees of Sharia People's Financing Bank (BPRS) Bhakti Sumekar Sumenep), Postgraduate Program, Wijaya Putra University. This type of research is explanatory this research intends to provide an explanation of the causal relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable through hypothesis testing, using a quantitative approach, the research sample was 76 respondents. In this study the data will be processed using SEM-PLS data analysis.The objectives of this study are: 1) To test and analyze the direct effect of human resource competencies on compensation. 2) To test and analyze the direct effect of human resource competencies on performance. 3) To test and analyze the direct effect of compensation on employee performance. 4) To test and analyze the indirect effect of human resource competencies on employee performance. The results showed that: 1) human resource competencies have a direct and significant effect on compensation. 2) human resource competencies have a direct and significant effect on employee performance. 3) compensation has a direct and significant effect on employee performance. 4) human resource competencies have an indirect and significant effect on employee performance mediated by compensation.

Abstract

Fara Ariyanti Risma Ayu, 2025. Analysis of the Influence of Supervision and Work Ability on Employee Performance through Public Service Quality at Bank Jatim Sumenep Branch Office. Postgraduate Program, Wijaya Putra University, Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research type and involves 86 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using Smart PLS. The purpose of the study was to determine the direct and indirect effects of supervision and work ability on employee performance, with public service quality as a mediating variable. The results of the study indicate that: (1) Supervision has a significant effect on public service quality, but is not significant on performance directly; (2) Work ability has a significant effect on service quality and employee performance; (3) Public service quality has a significant effect on employee performance; (4) Supervision and work ability also have an indirect effect on performance through public service quality.

Based on its approach, this research is included in the explanatory research type . The research sample was 71 respondents. The objectives of this research are 1) To test and analyze the significant influence of work ability on the performance of the apparatus of Proppo District , Pamekasan Regency . 2) To test and analyze the significant influence of work ability on the motivation of the apparatus of Proppo District ,Pamekasan Regency. 3) To test and analyze the significant influence of the motivation of the apparatus on the performance of the apparatus of Proppo District , Pamekasan Regency. 4) To test and analyze the significant indirect influence of work ability on the performance of the apparatus of Proppo District, Pamekasan Regency mediated by the motivation of the apparatus. The research results show that : 1) work ability has a significant positive effect on the performance of the apparatus of Proppo District , Pamekasan Regency with an original sample value of 0.284 . 2) work ability has a significant positive effect on the motivation of the Proppo District apparatus in Pamekasan Regency with an original sample value of 0.481. 3) the motivation of the apparatus has a significant positive effect on the performance of the apparatus of Proppo District, Pamekasan Regency with an original sample value of 0.658 . 4) work ability has a significant positive effect on the performance of the apparatus of Proppo District , Pamekasan Regency mediated by the motivation of the apparatus with an original sample value of 0.316.

Abstract

This study aimed to analysed managerial skills of the principal of SD Islam Permata Mojosari, focusing on two aspects: developing school plans and leading the school in utilizing school resources, specifically human resources. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. Participants in this study included the principal, teachers, staff, school supervisors, school committee chair, and treasurer. Data analysis used the techniques of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings indicated that the principal of SD Islam Permata Mojosari demonstrated effective managerial skills in developing school plans. The planning process involved all school members, from the formation of the planning team to monitoring and evaluation. This was evident in the comprehensive and structured strategic plan, annual work plan, and school income and expenditure budget. In leading the school, the principal exhibited effective managerial skills in managing human resources. This was evident in open and collaborative communication with teachers and staff, providing appropriate guidance and motivation, and efforts to improve teacher competence through training and Professional Teacher Group. This study concludes that the managerial skills of the principal of SD Islam Permata Mojosari, Mojokerto Regency, have contributed to improving the quality of education at the school.

Abstract

This study is entitled the influence of competence and work experience on the performance of Sampang Police personnel mediated by work discipline. This type of research is explanatory research, the approach used is a quantitative approach, the research sample is 78 respondents. The analysis tool uses Smart PLS (Partial Least Square). Research objectives: 1) To describe competence, work experience, work discipline, and personnel performance at Polres Sampang. 2) To test and analyze whether there is a significant influence of competence on personnel performance at Polres Sampang. 3) To test and analyze whether there is a significant influence of work experience on personnel performance at Polres Sampang. 4) To test and analyze whether there is a significant influence of work discipline on personnel performance at Polres Sampang. 5) To test and analyze whether there is a significant influence of competence on work discipline at Polres Sampang. 6) To test and analyze whether there is a significant influence of work experience on work discipline at Polres Sampang. 7) To test and analyze whether there is a significant indirect influence of competence on personnel performance at the Polres Sampang with work discipline as an intervening variable. 8) To test and analyze whether there is a significant indirect influence of work experience on personnel performance at the Sampang Police with work discipline as an intervening variable. Abstract

This research was conducted at Pamekasan Police with a sample size of 85 personnel. The objectives of this study were 1). To describe the work ability, commitment, motivation and performance of Pamekasan Police personnel; 2). To test and analyze whether work ability, commitment and motivation simultaneously have an influence on the performance of Pamekasan Police personnel; 3). To test and analyze whether work ability, commitment and motivation partially have an influence on the performance of Pamekasan Police personnel; 4). To test and analyze which variables between work ability, commitment, work motivation have a dominant influence on the performance of Pamekasan Police personnel. Data analysis using SPSS, this type of research is explanatory research using a quantitative research approach. The results of the study indicate that: 1) Simultaneously, work ability, commitment, motivation have a significant influence on the performance of Pamekasan Police personnel; 2) Partially, work ability, commitment, motivation have a significant influence on the performance of Pamekasan Police personnel. Based on the results of the t-test, it is known that work ability has a dominant influence on the performance of Pamekasan Police personnel; furthermore 3) it is known that commitment has a positive and significant influence on the performance of Pamekasan Police personnel, and 4) motivation has a positive and significant influence on the performance of Pamekasan Police personnel.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Human Resources (HR) quality and discipline on employee performance, with work professionalism as a mediating variable. Additionally, the study considers external factors that may moderate the relationship between these variables, such as technology, leadership style, organizational culture, and work environment. The research uses a quantitative method with an explanatory approach, allowing the researcher to explain the relationships between the involved variables. Data was collected from 41 respondents, who are employees at the Kangayan Subdistrict in Sumenep Regency. The analysis technique used is Partial Least Squares (PLS) to test the relationships between the variables. The results of the analysis show that HR quality and discipline have a significant effect on employee performance, both directly and through work professionalism as a mediating variable. This emphasizes that improving HR quality, which includes employees' knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as discipline in performing tasks, will enhance overall employee performance. Furthermore, external factors such as technology and organizational culture were found to moderate the relationship between HR quality, discipline, and employee performance. Adequate technology and a supportive organizational culture can strengthen the effectiveness of employee performance by improving professionalism and work discipline. This study provides important implications for the development of HR in the public sector, particularly in terms of planning and implementing policies that can improve HR quality and employee discipline. By enhancing work professionalism and leveraging supporting external factors, government organizations can create a more productive and efficient work environment, ultimately contributing to achieving organizational goals and providing better public services.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) the effect of Jayapura City Government's Locally Generated Revenue (PAD) on economic growth in Jayapura City from 2012 to 2024; 2) the effect of Jayapura City Government's Capital Expenditure on economic growth from 2012 to 2022; and 3) the contribution of capital expenditure and PAD to Jayapura City's economic growth to understand the factors influencing regional economic development. The study was conducted at the Jayapura City Government using secondary data in the form of Capital Expenditure and Locally Generated Revenue from 2013 to 2023. The population in this study was the Jayapura City Government. The research method used a quantitative approach. Data analysis techniques used multiple linear regression. The results show that 1) Locally Generated Revenue has a positive effect on economic growth in Jayapura City; 2) Capital expenditure has a positive effect on economic growth in Jayapura City; and 3) Locally Generated Revenue and capital expenditure have a positive effect on economic growth in Jayapura City, expressed as a 10.38 percent increase if held constant.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of Brand Image, Product Quality, and Fanaticism on purchase decisions for merchandise at Persela Store Lamongan. The research employs a quantitative approach to explore the causal relationships between these variables by testing the proposed hypotheses. The subjects of this study were customers who had previously made purchases at Persela Store Lamongan. The sampling method used was non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach, involving 100 respondents who met the research criteria. Data were gathered using a questionnaire distributed to the selected participants. The data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to determine the strength of the relationships between the variables. The study's findings reveal that Brand Image does not significantly influence purchasing decisions, whereas Product Quality and Fanaticism have a significant positive impact on consumers' purchasing behavior. Specifically, although Persela's brand strength, as a football club, is well-known, it does not appear to be a significant enough factor in encouraging consumers to make purchases. On the other hand, Product Quality and Fanaticism were identified as the main factors that drive purchasing decisions at Persela Store Lamongan. High-quality products and a strong emotional attachment to the club are essential factors that influence consumers to buy the merchandise. These results highlight the importance of product quality and consumer loyalty over brand image in influencing purchasing behavior, suggesting that Persela Store should focus more on enhancing product quality and fostering fan engagement to boost sales. This study contributes valuable insights for businesses aiming to improve customer purchasing decisions, especially in the sports merchandise industry, and offers recommendations on how to leverage product quality and fan enthusiasm to increase sales.
