The long history of yoga has given birth to a number of important texts that became the source of learning Yoga, at a certain time. Yoga, whose origins are derived from the Rigveda, is a mindful practice of living in which physical and mental training has evolved to become the dominant physical training method in the modern age. A number of classical yoga texts such as Yoga Vasista, Yoga Sutras Patañjali, Goraksasatakam, Gheranda Samhita, Siva Samhita and Hatha Yoga Pradipika have influenced the knowledge and practice of yoga in Bali from the fourth to sixth centuries, before yoga's popularity continued to decline during the colonial period. Yoga is not a new product that has entered the modern era, after the formation of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, but Bali has become a conservationist for the world's yoga baboons. The ancient yoga training center is located on Mount Watukaru, so the yoga tradition is called Ancient Balinese Yoga, the Watukaru Tradition. Although there is no specific mention of the name of the text, a number of the same terminology at the relatively the same era is evidence that the influence of classical yoga texts has reached Bali at that time.

The Vedic concepts gave birth to Balinese noble culture that is implemented through the teachings of karma mārga. The effort to preserve the culture cannot be separated from the teachings of Hinduism which originates to the teachings of karma mārga yoga. In Bungaya Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency there is a unique culture and full of creativity from young people. The culture is Tamlang Waluh tradition implemented by Teruna Desa. This tradition is unique because at the time of its execution, participants who follow the tradition pronounce words bojrag (porn) but has a deep meaning. The spoken word like “celi katuk”, based on the ethical view is inappropriate but based on the philosophical view that contains the meaning of the process of creation. The transformation of the teachings of karma mārga yoga in Tamlang Waluh tradition is the transformation of theology as the philosophical foundation of sujud bhakti before Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa trhough His manifestation as Purusa Pradana. Besides, improving the teachings of Susila (Ethics) is seen in the process of metinjakan that the younger generation is educated to always uphold the teachings of Tri Kaya Parisudha ie do not harm the opponent, do not speak harsh words, and do not hold a sense of resentment.

Yoga became a popular culture can not be separated from the influence of cultural industries that then bring a new face in yoga practice. Yoga is known today is yoga asanas which besides beneficial to health is also full of entertainment nuance as an implication of postmodern society lifestyle and also the implications of the role of media in society. So it is said yoga practice is now a propan yoga practice, away from sacred values like the teachings that should be in yoga itself. This phenomenon raises the awareness of certain groups of people to show and restore the true teachings of yoga through yoga-yoga mass done in the areas of the shrine by taking time yoga as it should. So no doubt this condition raises social stratification that appears in the community in a form of contestation of yoga practices.

Tadasana is very effective to overcome lumbago and back pain. This movement is very simple, which resembles a standing mountain. Samasthiti is another name of this posture to refer to the movement as balanced, not moving to the left or right, firmly fixed immobile. Stand with both legs straight, backbone straight and both hands are beside the body with the palm facing the body. This article describes the correlation of tadasana movement with the anatomy of the body to people who experience back pain, including for those who experience chronic back pain. When this asana is done, the structure of the spine will change. The muscles and bones around the spine are stretched in such a way that the cells are restructured so that the movement is able to heal pain around the waist and backbone effectively. Stretching is able to restore the wrong cell structure is returned to normal. This movement is very well done by both parents, young and children.
