Abstract

In Indonesia, many business entities choose to make acquisitions. However, in reality, the acquisition is not certain to provide good results for both business entities. There have been many examples of cases of business entities experiencing losses after making acquisitions. The aim of this research is to find out whether there are differences in financial performance at PT. Mahaka Media Tbk before and after acquiring PT. Gamma Investa Lestari uses liquidity ratios, solvency ratios, profitability ratios and activity ratios. The type of research in this research is comparative, with the population being business entities that made acquisitions in 2017. The sample collection method used purposive sampling, so that a sample of PT business entities was obtained. Mahaka Media Tbk which acquired PT. Gamma Investa Lestari on June 19 2017. The analysis method used is the paired sample t-test. Based on the results of the analysis using the paired sample t-test, only the activity ratio had differences before and after the acquisition, while for the liquidity ratio, solvency ratio and profitability ratio there were no differences.

Abstract

Globalization has resulted in extremely quick changes across a number of industries, including the automotive, technological, and health sectors. Changes in Indonesian automotive trends provide insight into this development. Even at distant locations, everyone must be able to work swiftly and efficiently. People need a way to get from one place to another quickly, whether it is nearby or far away. Humans require transportation as a tool in order to travel great distances swiftly. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how consumer decisions about the Toyota Kijang Innova Diesel Reborn in Surabaya are influenced by brand image and product quality. Primary data from questionnaires was employed in this quantitative research design. The study population included individuals who owned Kijang Innova diesel rebirth automobiles in Surabaya throughout the research period. A sample of 97 respondents was employed for data analysis, and SPSS data processing was utilized for data processing. As a result, it is known that 1) Brand Image has a positive influence on purchasing decisions. It can be said that the Toyota company's efforts in building a brand image can be said to be successful because it succeeded in creating an emotional relationship. This shows that a strong emotional relationship can encourage consumers to make purchasing decisions. 2) Product quality has a positive effect on purchasing decisions. The results of this research found that serviceability (speed, convenience and access) is the indicator of product quality that is most felt by consumers. This factor is very important and supportive for consumers, therefore Toyota is thinking about this by building many car showrooms along with service services in various regions throughout Indonesia so that the prices and goods offered to consumers are very cheap and fast.

Abstract

Companies currently really need an Accounting Information System (AIS) in the running of a business. This research aims to determine the accounting system for merchandise inventory in managing inventory to avoid stock discrepancies, as well as to find out whether the online sales system at the Yoorinail Surabaya Store has been fulfilled properly or not. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. Where data collection techniques are carried out using interviews, documentation and observation data. The data source used is a primary data source or in other words getting data directly from the company. The results of research at the Yoorinail Surabaya Store show that the merchandise inventory accounting system at the Yoorinail Surabaya Store does not automatically bind stock to the online application, therefore researchers recommend using the Ginee platform as a tool in managing/tying up merchandise inventory online. And stock differences often occur in the merchandise inventory system at the Yoorinail Surabaya Store. Therefore, it is necessary to update the system effectively and efficiently, by storing and sending photo archives of proof of the release of goods in accordance with the sales invoice via WhatsApp.

Abstract

The development of the times from year to year affects daily life and activities. This development has triggered the use of gadgets by using social media as a daily activity, including in the business sector. In this article entitled "Promotional Strategies to Increase Sales and Brand Awareness of UKM The research method used is qualitative. The sample used for this research consisted of six people who were divided into the UKM @Eightyninesneaks group and the customer group. The data analysis technique used is data triangulation. The results and discussion show that the promotional strategy used needs to be improved in creating varied video content, approaching consumers, and conducting Tiktok ads in order to increase account engagement on the Tiktok Shop social media. This strategy is a reference for increasing sales and brand awareness of consumer buying interest.

Abstract

The majority of micro businesses in Indonesia are still oriented only towards profit and pay little attention to the sustainability of environmental and social aspects. This happened at the same time as the emergence of a sustainable business trend with a Triple Bottom Line approach in the worldwide. From the identification of this problem, this research was carried out to look specifically at the impact of implementing sustainable business and the importance of implementing it today. This research uses qualitative research methods. The sources for this research are five micro business actors who are participants in the MSME Training and Mentoring Program 'Transformation Towards Sustainable Business 2022’, which operates in the food and beverage sector. The data obtained is then processed through the stages of data collection, reduction and presentation, as well as drawing conclusions. As a result, it was found that the implementation of sustainable business had a positive impact on the sustainability of environmental, social and economic aspects, and fulfilled most of the targets of SDG 8 and SDG 12. There were findings that the five informants had varying levels of awareness of sustainable business, but were able to encourage informants to deepen understanding and implement the concept of sustainable business. As many as 2 out of 5 informants felt it was easy to gain access to funding. However, most informants still have problems with packaging technology that is more environmentally friendly. From this description, it can be concluded that sustainable business is essential to be implemented today.

Abstract

This thesis research is about online shopping consumer behavior at Solid Fashion - Shoppe after the Covid pandemic. This thesis discusses the beginning of the emergence of Covid which was so dangerous that people were afraid to leave the house and chose to shop online. Online shopping was the best solution at that time so that sales in the Solid Fashion Shoppe Online Store increased rapidly, but as time goes by, 2023 will enter the new normal era so there are several people who are already carrying out activities as before, so sales in the Online Store Solid Fashion is declining. So through this research, researchers want to know what things buyers consider when deciding to purchase in 2020 so that sales in 2023 can be stable or increase. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The data collection technique used was through interviews with 6 selected sources who met the criteria determined by the researcher. In this research, the data obtained from interviews is presented in in-depth descriptive form with the result that there are 4 things that buyers consider when deciding to purchase, namely: price changes, differences in offers, personal needs, psychological conditions.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to summarize this problem, analyze consumer shopping behavior on the Internet in purchasing decisions and examine the context based on selected factors that influence consumer purchasing behavior on the Internet. E-commerce is electronic commerce related to the activities of buying, selling, marketing goods or services by utilizing internet communication networks as a form of future commerce. Consumers generally make purchasing decisions after evaluating the many choices of products or services offered to them.This part of the article focuses on the basis of consumer purchasing decisions which occur due to external and internal factors that consumers have within themselves. Internal factors such as physiological motivation to fulfill their needs. Apart from that, the learning, personality, attitudes and personal experiences through thoughts and feelings that consumers have gone through are psychological considerations for consumers. External factors include marketing information and the socio-cultural environment, for example religious views. This part of the research consists of descriptive qualitative research methods using in-depth interviews and observations.The questions focused on the subjective opinions of respondents from mothers who shop online and have children under five to 10 years old. Interview material includes: purchasing clothes on the Shopee platform, purchasing decisions, how often you buy clothes online, are you satisfied with shopping online at Shopee. Based on the results, the last part of this article outlines the proposal showing that 4 interviewees are very satisfied, 5 are less satisfied, 1 are not satisfied and the need to include online activities in daily life reaches a wider range of users.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is a feeling of joy and disappointment that arises after comparing perception with the performance of an expected product. The factor of satisfaction itself is in the quality of the product, the price provided, the service and many more. The existence of customer satisfaction will provide many benefits for the company in question in the form of revenue, word of mouth relationship, and others.This research aims to gain an understanding of customer satisfaction with customers of Surabaya coffee café. This coffee café has quite a lot of customers, but at this time it is difficult to get a loyalty to customers. The number of resource persons used in this study was 10 resource persons using the narrative qualitative data analysis method.The results of this study prove that the customer satisfaction of Café Serlok Kopi Surabaya can be known through the experiences, needs, and expectations they provide. Experience, needs, and expectations are certainly indicators of customer satisfaction that can help customers in providing customer value and can increase their confidence in buying serlok kopi products.

Abstract

The existence of a zoning system in Public Junior High Schools gets impact in Private Junior High Schools especially in a decrease in the number of new student admissions. Likewise, Junior High School of Labschool Unesa 1 Surabaya has experienced a decrease in the number of students, but in recent years the school has experienced an increase in the number of students although the number is not comparable to the previous decrease. The researcher intends to analyze the school's strategy by formulating the problem, Namely "What is the Form and Implementation of the school's strategy in an effort to increase the acceptance of new students? Then what is the impact of the implementation of the school's strategy on efforts to increase the acceptance of new students?". The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the form and implementation of the school's strategy, as well as the impact which occurs after implementing the school strategy that has been made. This study uses a qualitative research method, so that researcher can explore the meaning of the visible inequality phenomenon and obtain concrete, detailed, and transparent data. The informants in this study are one principal, one school staff teacher, three guardians and five students, all of them are informants. The data is obtained from the interview, then it is processed through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The result of this study is that Junior High School of Labschool Unesa 1 Surabaya uses two strategies, namely promotion strategy and school branding strategy, these strategies turn out to be effective for the sustainability of the PPDB process. The impact felt is that the school experiences an increase in the number of students, although the increase is not comparable to the decrease that is occurred and the school become better and it is known by the community.

Abstract

Surabaya Community Perceptions in Using Dana E-wallet. A person's perception is the process of selecting, interpreting information or an object received through sight, taste, hearing, smell and touch which can provide different viewpoints in sensing, both positive and negative perceptions which will influence visible or real human actions. This research aims to study the perception of the people of Surabaya regarding the use of the Dana E-wallet in this modern era with a lot of competition from digital wallet platforms that continue to develop. The number of sources used in this research was 6 sources using descriptive qualitative data analysis methods. The research results prove that the perception of the people of Surabaya for each individual is formed from need factors, age factors, and also lifestyle factors. The formation of the need factor is based on the easy automatic action of the e-wallet so that there is an age factor that helps parents fulfill their needs. Lifestyle factors are formed based on a person's lifestyle in the modern era when everything is easy, aided by increasing technology. So that in the end it increases public trust in the security system provided by Dana and provides loyalty and loyalty from users to Dana's E-wallet.
