Abstract

This study aims to determine the anatomy of nerve cells, especially the autonomic nervous system, and to distinguish the effects of stimulation and inhibition of the sympathetic and parsympathetic nervous systems, which are nervous systems that work under the autonomic nervous system. In experimental animals, mice and mice were given several drugs belonging to the cholinergic drug class in the form of metochlorpramide, pilocaprin and adrenaline which would inhibit or have different effects and activities. The method used in this study is a laboratory experimental method using 4 experimental animals, namely 3 males and 1 female mice, where each mouse is given drug treatment by injecting intra-peritoneally and orally. The results obtained showed that after administration of several drugs, namely metoclopramide, pilocarpine and adrenaline, showed that these drugs had an effect on the autonomic nervous system or an effect commonly felt by experimental animals. The effects felt on the autonomic nervous system include tremor, diameter, dieresis, miosis, saliva and vasodilation at different time intervals.

Abstract

Vitamins are organic molecules that are needed by the body for normal metabolism and growth processes. Vitamins are not carbohydrates, proteins or lipids. The body doesn't just synthesize vitamins. Vitamins based on their solubility in water, there are two, namely water-soluble vitamins (Vitamins B and C) and vitamins that are not soluble in water (Vitamins A, D, E and K). Vitamin C is the best antioxidant known to have benefits to boost immunity, vitamin C is usually found in vegetables and fruits. As an essential vitamin, vitamin C has an important function for the health of the body, the body requires 75 mg of vitamin C for women to 90 mg for men for daily needs. This study aims to determine the levels and content of vitamin C in Sunkist oranges and California papayas in increasing body resistance. The method used in this research is an experimental method, namely descriptive qualitative research, with the sampling technique using purposive sampling method. The results showed that the ascorbic acid identification test showed that Sunkist oranges and California papayas were both fruits that contained ascorbic acid or commonly known as Vitamin C.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find outpharmacological effects caused by antidiabetic drugs on White Rats (Rattus novergicus). In this study, we used white rats for antidiabetic test. This study was conducted, so that we know more about the effectiveness of antidiabetic drugs. In addition, as pharmacy students we must know which antidiabetic drugs are ideal and do not have side effects that are detrimental to users of these drugs. The main parameter of antidiabetic is blood glucose level. The method used is an experimental method using experimental animals in the form of white rats (Rattus novergicus). This research was conducted at the pharmacy laboratory of Bina Mandiri University, Gorontalo, the method used was an experimental method using experimental animals in the form of white rats (Rattus novergicus), where first white rats were fasted for 8 hours, then the rats' initial blood sugar was measured using a glucometer, after that 2 ml of 50% glucose was given. The results showed that the effect of antidiabetic drugs used, namely glibenclamide, metformin, glokovance on blood sugar levels in experimental white rats (Rattus novergicus) could provide a therapeutic effect that could lower blood sugar levels.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the solubility of animal and vegetable lipids, and can determine the saponification reaction in fats and determine the amount of saponification and determine the unsaturation of fatty acids through the determination of the iodine value. The research method used is a laboratory experimental method to obtain result data. The results showed that in the fat solubility test experiment, it was seen that cooking oil could not dissolve in all solutions because distilled water was water so oil which was insoluble in water could not dissolve in the solvent. Saponification reaction test: Oil dissolves when a solvent or alcohol reagent is added. The number of saponification with the results obtained that do not match the results with the experiment is because an error occurred during the practicum so that the color that should appear, which is pink, turns cloudy.

Abstract

Each individual is created with a complete sense system that is used to be able to interact with the surrounding environment, which can be obtained through the senses, namely the eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and skin. DestinationThis study aims to determine the parts of the senses and their complementary organs that help human activities. The method used in this research is the experimental method, the experimental method is an action and observation or testing a hypothesis. Experiments can be carried out in a laboratory or outside the laboratory, experimental work implies learning to do, because it can be included in the learning method. The results of the research on taste sensitivity showed that the results obtained for the first probandus for the garlic sample contained 1 guessing error, while for the onion sample there were 2 guessing errors, for the apple sample all were correct. The second proband for the garlic sample was all answered, the onion contained an error 1 while the apples were all correct. In this blind spot study, we found differences in the distance of the blind spots in one proband to another. This is because the size of the eyeball, the convexity of the eye lens and the distance from the lens to the retina are different for each person.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ratio of blood in the sitting, standing and lying positions. The research method used is a laboratory experimental research method that uses 3 probands by using stethoscope and sphygmomanometer to calculate the heart rate probandus in a lying, sitting, standing position, after light exercise (running in place ±20 steps) after strenuous exercise (running in place ±50 steps) the heart rate will increase in a sitting position because the heart pumps blood will be harder to resist the force of gravity. This makes blood pressure tend to be stable. The results showed that menunjukkan based on the results of individual studies on the first probandus, namely probandus 1, when sitting, fitriyanti's blood pressure is hypotensive with a pressure of 120/80MmHg, when she stands, her blood pressure is normal with a pressure of 110/70MmHg and when she lies down, her blood pressure is hypotensive with a pressure of 100/70MmHg. . In the 2nd Probandus, Rizka is 19 years old. When sitting down, Rizka's blood pressure is not normal with a pressure of 100/90MmHg, when she stands up, she has hypotension with a pressure of 100/60MmHg, while lying down, she has hypotension with a blood pressure of 100/70MmHg. In the third proband, sartin, the sex is female, aged 19 years. when sitting, sartin blood is hypotensive with a pressure of 110/80MmHg, when standing, sartin blood is hypotensive with a pressure of 100/70MmHg, and when lying down, the blood pressure of Sartin is hypotensive with a blood pressure of 100/60MmHg. This can happen because the probandus is in a state of dehydration, lack of nutrition and nutrition, or because the probandus is sick/unfit or because of other factors so that his diastolic pressure is low.
