Abstract

This study aims to formulate cayenne pepper leaf extract (Capsicum frutescens L.) as an anti-acne to spray preparation and to determine the effect of the formulation of cayenne pepper leaf extract (Capsicum frutescens L.) as an anti-acne on the characterization of spray preparations. The method used in this study is experimental (laboratory experiments) based on differences in the concentration of carbopol bases in each formula. The carbopol concentrations were: Formula I (0.5%), Formula II (1%), Formula III (2%). The results showed that in the characterization test of the spray preparation of cayenne pepper leaf extract (Capsicum frutescens L.) physically cannot be made in spray dosage form because the results obtained still leave color and are not clear when viewed from the terms of the preparation, but the physical stability of the preparation for formula I, formula II and formula III from the results of the parameters of the preparation characterization test, statistical data analysis with one sample T.Test where the significance value of P 0.05 indicates that there is an effect on the characterization of the preparation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the process of planning and procurement of drugs at IFRS Toto Kabila has been carried out in accordance with the applicable Standard Operating Procedures. This research method uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The study was carried out on 4 informants who were directly related to the planning and procurement process of drugs at the Pharmacy Installation of RSUD Toto Kabila, namely the head of IFRS, head of drug warehouse, pharmacy staff and hospital director by conducting direct interviews with informants with the aim of digging up information related to the planning and procurement process of drugs. In this case, the formation of a drug planning team at the Toto Kabila Hospital is not in accordance with the Indonesian Ministry of Health (2010). However, even though the planning was not carried out by a special team based on the results of the interview, the planning was carried out according to the SOP in the hospital and carried out by experts in their fields. Furthermore, in carrying out procurement, IFRS pays attention to the criteria for drug suppliers according to WHO, namely the distance from the PBF location and consideration of the princes offered by the PBF. The conclusion of this study is that drug planning at IFRS Toto Kabila is not in accordance with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia (2010) because it is not carried out by a planning team. However, the planning has been carried out according to the existing SOP and carried out by experts in their fields. And also in procuring, IFRS pays attention to the preferences of drug suppliers according to WHO, namely the distance from the PBF location and considers the price offered by the PBF. Then for the budget, you get from 10% -20% of the hospital's income profit every year.

Abstract

Soil Transmitted Helminthes eggs are one type of worm eggs that can cause worm infections. Some of the factors that can affect it are nail hygiene and hand washing. Based on data from the Gorontalo Provincial Health Office in 2018, it shows that the prevalence of worms in Gorontalo District is around 8.7%. The purpose of the study was to identify Soil Transmitted Helminthes eggs on the nails of the cleaning officers of the Gorontalo District Environmental Office. This research is quantitative descriptive with total sampling technique and sample size 47, with sedimentation inspection method using 0.9% NaCl solution. The data analysis technique used univariate analysis. Based on the research that has been done, it was found 3 positive samples of worm eggs on the nails of the janitor and the frequency in this study was 6.4%. This is due to the lack of personal hygiene application, such as not routinely cutting nails once a week and not using personal protective equipment, namely gloves when working with direct contact with the soil and garbage, so it is hoped that cleaning staff will routinely cut nails once a week and use gloves when work and for the next researcher to check fecal matter on the cleaners of the Gororntalo Regency Environmental Agency.
