Abstract

The development of information technology in the 4.0 revolution has led to an increasingly rapid and unstoppable flow of information. In addition, the development of Post-Modernism plays an important role in creating a new society called post-truth or post-truth which begins to challenge the existing truth. This study aims to investigate the challenges faced by Indonesian society regarding history in the Post-truth era along with the solutions offered. This research is a descriptive qualitative research technique using library research. The results of the study show that post-truth arises as a result of the development of post-modernism and changes in information systems. Even though the post-truth era is relatively new in Indonesia, it has had a major impact on historical science. Therefore the solution offered is the active role of historians and history educators in disseminating history, increasing literacy for the public, and increasing historical awareness to avoid false information, especially related to a historical event.  Keywords: Society, Indonesia, History, Post-truth

Abstract

In Indonesia, the prevalence of anemia in pregnancy is still high, which is around 89.6% of the total number of pregnancies of 1.5 million pregnant women. This can be one of the causes of the high maternal mortality rate (MMR) in Indonesia. Characteristics of mothers with anemia incidence in pregnant women in the Ikua Koto health center area in the city of Padang in 2023. The type of research is analytic which was carried out at the Ikua Koto Health Center in Padang City from April 1 to 30 2023 with a total of 70 respondents. Sampling was carried out by accidental sampling technique using a questionnaire as a research instrument, the data was processed univariately and bivariately with the Chi squere test. From the results of the study, it was found that there was no significant relationship between education level and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women. (p-value 0.0.33), there is no significant relationship between maternal employment status and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women (p-value 0.183), there is no significant relationship between maternal parity and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women. (p-value 0.329), there is no significant relationship between the level of knowledge of the mother and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women (p-value 0.386). It is hoped that health workers, especially health workers, in carrying out health promotion for pregnant women will place more emphasis on the changes that occur in pregnant women, especially the promotion of anemia in pregnant women. Abstract

Every activity carried out will produce waste, this results in high generation in Indonesia. The amount of waste generated needs to be processed in order to reduce the number of pollutions to the environment. Waste treatment basically uses the 3R principle, namely reduce, reuse, and recycle. One way of processing organic waste is by recycling it into compost. The composting process can occur naturally in the open, but the composting process will decompose more quickly if microorganisms are added to it. In this study, the composting process used black fly larvae or commonly called black soldier fly (BSF) larvae to simplify and speed up the process of decomposing organic waste into compost. The purpose of this study is to determine the quality of organic waste fertilizer produced from composting using BSF larvae. Composting organic waste using BSF was carried out for 15 days in a reactor box. A total of 5000 grams of composted organic waste produces 550 grams of compost with a reduced percentage of 11%. The resulting compost has a characteristic blackish brown color, smell and texture resembling soil, temperature 29°C, pH 5.5, water content contained in the compost is 11% and C content in the compost is 55.21%. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the characteristics of compost produced from composting using BSF larvae for pH and C content parameters do not meet the quality standards for compost from organic waste in SNI 19-7030-2004 concerning Specifications for compost from domestic organic waste. Keywords: BSF, organic waste, compost.

Abstract

Pasuruan sea waters are one of the strategic waters in East Java Province. Ecologically, Pasuruan Waters is a habitat for various types of aquatic organisms including phytoplankton. The Pasuruan sea area is the estuary of the rivers in Pasuruan which carry household, factory and other waste. This is feared to result in a decrease in water quality which can interfere with the growth of phytoplankton in the waters. Phytoplankton is a biological parameter that can be used as a bioindicator to evaluate the quality and fertility of a waters. The purpose of this study was to determine the composition and abundance of phytoplankton in Pasuruan Waters, East Java. This study used a descriptive explorative method with data collection using a purposive sampling method. The results showed that 22 genera were found from 5 divisions, namely the Chlorophyta division (6 genera), the Baccilariophyta division (11 genera), the Miozoa division (1 genera), the Cyanobacteria division (3 genera), and the Dinoflagellate division (1 genera). The abundance of phytoplankton ranges from 961 – 1815 cells/liter. The diversity index is in the low category with a range between 0 – 0.153. The dominance index of 0.6 - 0.8 indicates dominance in the waters and shows that the community structure is unstable. The dominant type of phytoplankton is Bacillariophyta.  Keywords:  Composition, abundance, phytoplankton, Pasuruan waters

Abstract

Excellent schools are often juxtaposed with the quality of education organised by an educational institution (school). An excellent school is something that every school in Indonesia aspires to. Because by holding a Superior School, the school becomes the target of the surrounding community. This study aims to describe students' perceptions of the implementation of education organised by SDIT ATTIN. This type of research is survey research. The sample of this research is grade 4 to grade 6 students. The sample was taken randomly as many as 26 students. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The questionnaire was made by the researcher. The questionnaire uses a Likert scale. The Likert scale used is a Likert scale with intervals of 1-4. The weight of four indicates very good (SB), three for good (B), two for good enough (CB), and one for less good (KB). Furthermore, the data obtained from the questionnaire is processed to be the average value. The results of the percentage processing were then analysed and grouped into superior, good, good enough and less good criteria. Based on the research results obtained: (1) The quality of SDIT ATTIN graduates is very good or superior, (2) The quality of the learning process at SDIT ATTIN is also superior, (3) The quality of SDIT ATTIN teachers is good, and (4) the managerial quality of SDIT ATTIN is also superior. Abstract

Monkeypox disease in humans is caused by the monkeypox virus (MPXV) which is a viral infectious disease of the orthopoxvirus genus. In 2022, the prevalence of monkeypox cases has increased rapidly worldwide and the disease has been declared a global public health emergency. In general, monkeypox case detection activities begin with the discovery of suspected/probable/confirmed cases on travelers such as research or foreign tourists. Indonesia as a country with tourism potential has a risk of monkeypox transmission from both local and foreign tourists. Tourist visits are closely related to tour guides who work by meeting various groups and being a group at risk of contracting the disease. The purpose of this study was to see an overview of the knowledge, attitudes and actions of tour guides in efforts to prevent monkeypox in Liya Togo Tourism Village. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive research by conducting surveys about knowledge, attitudes, and actions. The sample for this study was 80 people using a total sample, where all members of the population were respondents. The results of this study indicate that the respondents had good knowledge 35 people (43,7%) and lacked knowledge 45 people (56,3%). The respondents had positive attitudes 74 people (92,5%) and negative attitudes 6 people (7,5%). The respondents exhibited good actions 62 people (77,5%) and inadequate actions 18 people (22,5%). To optimise the knowledge of tour guides, it is expected that related parties can provide guidance to prevent the transmission of monkeypox and other infectious diseases.  Keywords: Knowledge, Attitude, Action, Monkeypox Prevention , Guide Tour
