Abstract

Hypertension is a disease that is increasing every year. Dieting for the risk of hypertension sufferers is still not implemented because many hypertension sufferers still have poor dietary behavior. This research aims to analyze the influence of education level and family support on diet in people at risk of hypertension using the self-care theory approach. The design of this research is Observational Analytical with a Cross Sectional approach. The sample taken using the Purposive Sampling technique with criteria for inclusion and exclusion at the Rajal Clinic was 80 respondents. This study collected data on education level and family support using a questionnaire sheet. The statistical test used is the multiple linear regression analysis test. The multiple linear regression analysis test results showed that family support had the most influence on diet in people at risk of hypertension, with a value of (0.001) with a coefficient of -.420. Based on this, family support can influence the diet of people at risk of hypertension, so there is a need for family support for people at risk of hypertension to reduce the risk of hypertension in people at risk of hypertension.

The results of the bivariate analysis show that there is an influence of parental parenting on bullying behavior using the multiple linear regression test with the t-test, the calculated t value > t table (2.703 > 1.677) and a significant value of 0.001 < 0.05 and the social environment on bullying behavior obtained using the t-test. Calculated t value > t table (2.561 > 1.677) and significant value 0.000 < 0.05, this research concludes that there is an influence between parental parenting patterns on bullying behavior and the social environment on bullying behavior at Hasanuddin Gowa High School. Abstract

Background: rolonged waiting times in hospital emergency departments (EDs) are widely recognized as a major barrier to timely inpatient care and patient satisfaction. Efficient transition processes from the ED to inpatient units can reduce crowding and improve care outcomes. Methods: This study employed a descriptive survey design in Hospital X, Riau Islands, with a sample of 200 participants including ED nurses, administrative staff, and inpatient unit personnel. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed descriptively to assess the perceived impact of implementing a boarding time monitoring dashboard in the ED. Results: Prior to dashboard implementation, the proportion of patients transferred to inpatient wards within the target time (<120 minutes) was 53%. Post-implementation, compliance rose to 83.39%. Participants reported improved interdisciplinary communication, decision-making, and workflow efficiency. Dashboard color indicators were also found helpful in enabling real-time responses. Conclusion: The implementation of a boarding time monitoring dashboard significantly enhanced the ED's ability to reduce patient retention times. Results support the broader adoption of digital monitoring systems to improve patient flow and satisfaction.

Therefore, this research study was conducted to assess the effect of guided imagery in reducing pain intensity, especially in fracture patients. Method: The method of writing this article uses case studies in patients with costa fractures. Results and Discussion: After 3 days of guided imagery with Levine's theoretical approach, pain decreased from a scale of 6/10 to 3/10. Conclusions: Guided imagery is effective in reducing pain with Levine's theory approach in costa fracture patients.

Abstract

Abstract: Extravasation resulting from the administration of hypertonic electrolyte solutions, such as 3% sodium chloride (NaCl 3%, 513 mEq/L sodium, 1027 mOsm/L), a hyperosmolar agent, can pose a significant risk of local tissue injury, particularly when administered via peripheral vein access. Peripheral vein access is commonly used for IV therapy, including the administration of medications, blood products, and fluids, but it carries an elevated risk of extravasation. Methods: A literature review was conducted to evaluate clinical approaches for managing extravasation, including the application of hydrocolloid dressings, warm compresses, and saline irrigation. Results: A 61-year-old female presented to the emergency department with complaints of pain, erythema, and swelling in the left arm, which had progressively worsened over the previous two days. The symptoms were localized to the site of a previous peripheral IV insertion, where 3% sodium chloride had been administered during prior inpatient treatment. Conclusion: Extravasation of hypertonic electrolyte solutions such as 3% NaCl can lead to serious local tissue damage if not managed promptly. Close monitoring of infusion sites is essential to prevent complications.
