KESANTUNAN BERBAHASA DALAM FILM “SEJUTA SAYANG UNTUKNYA” KARYA HERWIN NOVIANT: KAJIAN PRAGMATIK

This study aims to determine how the representation of the characters' speech in the film "Sejuta Sayang Untuknya" directed by Herwin Noviant, especially in the aspect of language politeness. This research method uses qualitative methods with a pragmatic approach. The source of research data is the film “Sejuta Sayang Untuknya”, directed by Herwin Noviant. The data technique used was listen and note. The data studied is based on maxims which are generally followed to show politeness towards the interlocutor. The maxims used are the maxim of generosity, the maxim of appreciation, the maxim of simplicity, the maxim of consensus, and the maxim of sympathy.

In this study, researchers are interested in analyzing language errors in the field of semantics. The subject of this research is the speech of Nadiem Makarim (Minister of Education and Culture). The first speech is about National Teacher's Day 2020, and the second speech is about the commemoration of National Education Day 2021. The method used in this analysis is a qualitative method. The qualitative method shows that the analysis is only based on the facts contained in the speech of the Minister of Education and Culture (Nadiem Makarim). The technique used in this study to collect data is the technique of observing linguistic elements in the speech of the Minister of Education and Culture (Nadiem Makarim) and the technique of systematically recording language errors contained in the speech. In the Mendikbud's speech on the commemoration of National Teacher's Day 2020, there were seven semantic errors, namely in the words chain, laboratory, jump, stakeholder, walking, painter, and the word high. Meanwhile, from Nadiem Makarim's speech, in commemoration of National Education Day 2021, there are also seven semantic errors, namely in sheet words, grasping, breakthroughs, walking in place, leaps, fields, and stretched words. The technique used in this study is a technique for observing linguistic elements in the speech of the Minister of Education and Culture (Nadiem Makarim), and a technique for systematically recording language errors in speeches.

PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ROLE PLAYING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DALAM MENGGALI INFORMASI DARI DONGENG BINATANG (FABEL) PADA SISWA KELAS II SDN PARANG 4 KEDIRI

Based on data obtained by researchers at SDN Parang 4, Banyakan sub-district, it was found the fact that there was a low level of activity and student learning outcomes in the material of digging information from animal tales (Fable).. In addition to this in everyday learning the teacher only conveys the material conventionally. Teachers only tend to give monotonous lectures and do not use learning models when carrying out learning in the classroom. Student activity is also very low, because when the teacher gives practice questions to students there are some students who just sit and don't seem eager to learn. The purpose of this research is toto find out the Application of the Role Playing Method for mimprove student activity and learning outcomes in dig up information from animal tales (Fables). The approach used is qualitative research with Classroom Action Research (CAR) design, with stages: 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation, 4) reflection. This research is planned to last for 2 cycles, each cycle 2 meetings with thematic learning materials. Based on the results of research in the implementation of the first cycle of student learning completeness reached 50% and in the second cycle of student learning completeness increased to 91.60%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Role Playing learning model can increase student activity and learning outcomes in extracting information from animal tales (fables) in class II SDN Parang 4, Banyakan District.

GAYA DAN MAKNA BAHASA TULISAN: KAJIAN DESKRIPTIF CHAT MAHASISWA KEPADA DOSEN

Language as a means of communication can be realized in both spoken and written forms. Understanding the meaning and meaning of written language tends to be more complicated than spoken language. The use of language style with a specific purpose also contributes to the delivery of meaning to the interlocutor. This study discusses how language style and meaning in written language play a role in the communication of two parties. So that the written language that is often used in student and lecturer communication via chat becomes an interesting object of study to discuss. This research is a descriptive type with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through documentation and interviews and then analyzed using tabulation techniques based on literature references in the form of journal articles and books for the last fifteen years. The results showed that the language style used by students in chat was the conversational language with periodic, loose, and balanced sentence characteristics. The choice of words is in the form of standard Indonesian vocabulary with the addition of a metaphor which is influenced by the students' own ability in word choice. There is also the use of logat and certain regional languages in line with the familiarity of the lecturers and students concerned. However, in the meaning and understanding of the language, there is no problem because the context of communication between the two parties has never been far from the realm of academics and lectures. So that good communication is built and politeness in speaking and in written language is carried out properly.

This study describes the structure and interrelationships between elements in the novel Kim Ji-yeong born in 1982 by Cho Nam-joo. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with a structural approach. The data generated is in the form of text related to the building blocks of the novel Kim Ji-yeong born in 1982 by Cho Nam-joo published by PT Gramedia Pustaka Utama in 2019 in Jakarta. However, this novel is actually a translated novel from Korean which was published in 2016.

This study aimed to describe texts that discussing about the image of women in the short story Kamboja di Atas Nisan karya Herman R.N by using a feminist literary criticism approach. The data of study are texts of the short story Kamboja di Atas Nisan karya Herman R.N. The data are collected through reading and noting. They are analysed by using the qualitative descriptive technique with reference to feminist literary criticism. The results of research shows that the image of women in the short story Kamboja di Atas Nisan are: 1) women's rights in education; 2) the struggle of a mother; 3) the struggle of Kamboja; and 4) the task of a woman in the view of men. In addition, the results of the study indicates that the image of women found in the short story Kamboja di Atas Nisan was in line with the view of feminist literary criticism aimed to obtain a just and equal position and role between women and men in society.

Learning with the current pandemic condition is a new condition for many educators. The limitations of online learning are of course a problem. As a result, there is less motivation to learn. Increased motivation to learn becomes a bigger portion of learning. This paper is a literature review that aims to describe and at the same time explain the importance of using various technologies in Indonesian language learning in order to increase students' learning motivation. The use of various technologies such as padlet, quizizz, mentimeter, and so on can be a solution in increasing student motivation.

PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA KELAS VIRTUAL BERBASIS BLOGSPOT DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MEMBACA CERPEN BAGI SISWA KELAS IX

Learning of reading short stories currently requires media that are in accordance with technological developments. In addition with distance learning because of the Covid-19 pandemic, learning media is needed that supports the target of reading short stories learning. Therefore, this research develops a learning media called Virtual Class. This research aims to (1) develop a learning media called Virtual Class in learning of reading short stories; (2) describe the results of the effectiveness trial of using Virtual Class media in learning of reading short stories for IX grade. This research uses a development method that adapts the waterfall model. The development procedure begins with needs analysis, design, testing, and usage. Data collection techniques used in this research are observation and interview techniques. Data are analyzed using interactive techniques. The results of the research indicate that the Virtual Class media is an effective learning media in learning of reading short stories. In addition, the Virtual Class media contains content/material, a clear display presentation, and practice questions. So, Virtual Class media can be used as an alternative media for learning of reading short stories for grades IX via online. According to media experts, there are several things that must be improved from this media, including (a) improving greetings in the introduction to learning; (b) improve the use of language again because there are still errors in writing capital letters in the material on the blog; (3) the material should be added with examples.

PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA “KLIK AJA” DALAM PEMBELAJARAN DARING MENYAMPAIKAN TEKS BERITA BAGI SISWA KELAS VIII

The Covid-19 pandemic is a new challenge in the world of education, especially for a teacher, because learning must be done online. Therefore, teachers must master digital skills and creative thinking patterns, especially in conveying news texts. Facing this, this study discusses the development of online-based interactive learning media. The media development was designed by utilizing the Articulate Storyline 3 software in collaboration with learning videos and Google forms which were then combined on the Linktree website. The objectives of this study include describing the development of media and the presentation/display of the "Click Aja" media in online learning to deliver news texts for class VIII students and describe the results of the effectiveness test of using "Click Aja" media in online learning to deliver news texts for class VIII students. This study uses the type of research and development method ADDIE model. Through this research method, the discussion in this study leads to the resulting product, which is a "Click Aja" learning media. The product was tested by experts and obtained an average value of 3.4 which states that the media is suitable for use. In addition, the product was also tested on students and obtained an average score of 3.51 which stated that the media was suitable for use. Although the "Click Aja" media is feasible to use, there are improvements submitted by experts, including errors in writing, the delivery of material in the learning video is less communicative and incomplete material regarding news texts.

ANALISIS NILAI SOSIAL PADA NOVEL BILA MALAM BERTAMBAH MALAM KARYA PUTU WIJAYA DENGAN PENDEKATAN MIMETIK

Every literary work must have the social values of life contained in it, whether conveyed implicitly or explicitly. Like the novel Bila Malam Bertambah Malam by Putu Wijaya, it contains many social values and so on. With these problems, this research article is written to discuss "Analysis of Social Values in the novel Bila Malam Bertambah Malam by Putu Wijaya using the mimetic approach”. This research was conducted using qualitative descriptive research methods. Data collection techniques carried out, in the form of documentation, as well as research instruments were the researchers themselves using a check list of the classification of research materials and notes of observations. The data analysis technique in this study is a descriptive interpretive technique, where the researcher tries to describe the opinions and views that are on an object of research. This article aims to find out the social values contained in the novel Bila Malam Bertambah Malam by Putu Wijaya. The results of this study indicate that social problems cannot be separated from the relationships that accompany them. These relationships include human problems with humans, human problems with oneself and human problems with culture.
