Abstract

The rapid growth of financial technology has significantly increased interest in Bitcoin as an investment instrument, including among Muslim communities. However, its legal status in Islamic finance remains controversial due to its speculative nature and lack of underlying assets. This study aims to evaluate the compatibility of Bitcoin as a Sharia-compliant investment instrument by examining its status as māl (property), the potential presence of gharar (uncertainty) and maysir (speculation), and comparing it with established Islamic investment instruments. Using a qualitative approach and literature study method, the research analyzes fatwas, regulations, and relevant academic sources. The findings indicate that while Bitcoin is not yet fully aligned with Sharia principles, there is room for ijtihad to consider its use in investment—particularly if supported by stringent and transparent regulations. This study contributes to the discourse on Islamic digital finance by highlighting the need for developing Sharia-based cryptocurrencies backed by real assets. The conclusion emphasizes the urgency of establishing comprehensive regulations and enhancing Sharia digital literacy to mitigate risks and clarify legal standing for Muslim investors.

Abstract

Biotechnology can be confusing. Comics make learning more engaging, fun, and understandable by telling stories. Innovation creates e-comics using factual recordings. This study examines the feasibility, readability, and student reactions to biotechnology e-comic media with factual videos. This study follows the ADDIE development methodology from analysis to design, development, implementation, and assessment. This study involved randomly selected grade XII students of Sultan Daulat 1 High School. This study found that 1) biotechnology e-comic media accompanied by factual videos had a material validation score of 84% and media validation of 93% with a very valid category. 2) Comic media obtained a readability score of 81.4% with a very good category. 3) Students' answers to comedy media obtained a very good score of 82%. These findings indicate that biotechnology e-comic media with factual videos is valid and can be used for learning.

Abstract

Mahasiswa sarjana biologi mengambil Taksonomi Spermatofit.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to establish whether or not the biology learning module is valid, whether or not it is practical, and whether or not it is effective in improving students' 4C biology skills. According to the ADDIE model of development, this kind of research is considered to be development research. The place and location of this research is at Al Ulum Islamic High School in Medan. The participants in this study are thirty students who are enrolled in class X at Al Ulum High School in Medan. The findings of this research indicate that the validity of the problem-based learning module, which is based on the problem-based model, is included in the valid category. This means that the learning module that was developed has satisfied the validity indicators. With regard to the students' 4C skills, the practicality of the problem-based learning module is included in the category of practical. Based on the problem-based model, the effectiveness of the problem-based learning module for students' 4C skills is sufficient to meet the effectiveness criterion.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the structure of the developed case-based human anatomy and physiology module. To determine the responses of the lecturers in charge of the course to the case-based human anatomy and physiology module. To determine the students' responses to the case-based human anatomy and physiology module. The development research method is a type of research that produces a product rather than testing a theory. The results of this study: the developed case-based human anatomy and physiology module has been declared feasible (4.35) based on the assessment of material experts, reviewed from the content and presentation aspects of the material. The lecturers in charge of the course gave a positive response to the case-based human anatomy and physiology module (4.36), reviewed from the indicators of ease and effectiveness/benefit. Students of the biology study program, FMIPA UNIMED, class of 2021, gave a positive response to the case-based human anatomy and physiology module (4.13), reviewed from the indicators of interest, ease and effectiveness/benefit.
