Abstract

Fair distribution of wealth is a manifestation of justice in Islam. In contrast to the pre-existing distributive justice theory, Islam regulates justice in a comprehensive way. The writing is processed using the literature study method obtained from various books, journals, and other related references. Distributive justice in the Islamic perspective is not related to the benefits that will be obtained in this world, but also in the hereafter. Islam demands maximizing benefit for the common good and minimizing harm. The concept offered by Islam is able to be a balancer as well as a solution for equality and justice in a social order.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze consumer trust in halal skincare products within the framework of Islamic economics. In recent years, the demand for halal skincare products has increased alongside the growing awareness among Muslim consumers about the importance of product compliance with Sharia principles. Consumer trust plays a crucial role in purchase decisions. In the Islamic context, the halal label encompasses not only the ingredients used but also the production processes that adhere to Sharia guidelines. This study employs a quantitative approach using a questionnaire distributed to 59 respondents who use halal skincare. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression to determine the influence of consumer trust on the quality of halal skincare products within Islamic economics. The results show that consumer trust significantly affects the purchase of reliable halal skincare products, with halal certification serving as a key factor in providing safety and confidence for Muslim consumers in choosing skincare products.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of inflation, gold prices, and exchange rates on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) stock price index during 2013-2023. The background of this research is based on the importance of understanding macroeconomic factors that affect the movement of stock indices, especially the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). As one of Indonesia's leading Sharia stock indices, JII is a reference for investors in determining investment decisions per Sharia principles. Using a descriptive-verificative method with a quantitative approach, the study utilized secondary data from 30 companies listed in the JII and analyzed it with Eviews9. The results indicate that, simultaneously, inflation, gold prices, and exchange rates significantly influence the JII stock price index by 93.35%, while the remaining 6.65% is affected by other factors outside the model. Partially, inflation and gold prices have a significant effect, whereas exchange rates do not significantly impact the JII stock price index. These findings confirm that macroeconomic variables play a crucial role in the movement of the Islamic stock index.

Abstract

The rapid growth of financial technology has significantly increased interest in Bitcoin as an investment instrument, including among Muslim communities. However, its legal status in Islamic finance remains controversial due to its speculative nature and lack of underlying assets. This study aims to evaluate the compatibility of Bitcoin as a Sharia-compliant investment instrument by examining its status as māl (property), the potential presence of gharar (uncertainty) and maysir (speculation), and comparing it with established Islamic investment instruments. Using a qualitative approach and literature study method, the research analyzes fatwas, regulations, and relevant academic sources. The findings indicate that while Bitcoin is not yet fully aligned with Sharia principles, there is room for ijtihad to consider its use in investment—particularly if supported by stringent and transparent regulations. This study contributes to the discourse on Islamic digital finance by highlighting the need for developing Sharia-based cryptocurrencies backed by real assets. The conclusion emphasizes the urgency of establishing comprehensive regulations and enhancing Sharia digital literacy to mitigate risks and clarify legal standing for Muslim investors.
