Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tradisi perang ketupat yang dilakukan masyarakat desa Air Lintang. Penelitian ini juga berupaya mengungkapkan makna filosofi di balik tradisi perang ketupat berikut dengan sejarah yang melatarbelakangnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan atau field research. Metode ini untuk menemukan secara khusus realitas aktual tentang apa yang sedang terjadi di masyarakat yang diekspresikan dalam bentuk gejala atau proses. Metode yang digunakan ialah Antropologi. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ada dua sumber, yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Cara untuk pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini ialah mengunakan metode observasi atau pengamatan untuk mendapatkan informasi, wawancara dengan narasumber dan dokumentasi. Dan anaslis data ini secara deskriftif kualitatif. Tradisi ini bermula pada tahun 1883 yang dilakukan di Benteng Kota oleh kepala suku bernama Dimar untuk melawan bajak laut. Bertepatan saat itu terjadi kehilangan seorang anak oleh siluman buaya. Hal ini para tokoh melakukan ritual taber kampong. Tujuan ini terhindar dari musibah, adapun sebagai bentuk persatuan dan kesatuan yang kokoh dan bersifat gotong royong. Tradisi ini terdapat simbol dari ketupat itu sendiri dan memiliki nilai-nilai Islam dalam tradisi tersebut. Nilai Islam yang ada dalam tradisi ini adalah nilai Aqidah, nilai Akhlak dan nilai-nilai lainnya. Tradisi ini mengajak masyarakat untuk menghindar dan sebagai wujud syukur kepada Allah untuk melindungi masyarakat dari bencana. Disamping itu para leluhur telah mewariskan tradisi yang berkembang dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Tradisi, Perang Ketupat, Nilai-nilai dan Filsafat Kebudayaan Abstract This study aims to describe the tradition of ketupat warfare carried out by the people of Air Lintang village. This research also seeks to reveal the philosophical meaning behind the tradition of ketupat warfare along with the history behind it. This research is a field research or field research. This method is to find specifically the actual reality of what is happening in society which is expressed in the form of symptoms or processes. The method used is Anthropology. There are two sources of data in this study, namely primary data and secondary data. Techniques in collecting data in this study are by observation, interviews and documentation. And this data analysis is descriptive qualitative. This tradition began in 1883 which was carried out at the City Fortress by a tribal chief named Dimar to fight pirates. At that time, the crocodile demon lost a child. This is when the figures perform the taber kampong ritual. This goal is to avoid disaster, even as a form of solidarity and mutual cooperation. This tradition has a symbol of the ketupat itself and has Islamic values ​​in that tradition. Islamic values ​​in this tradition are aqidah values, moral values ​​and other values. This tradition invites people to avoid and as a form of gratitude to Allah to protect people from disasters. Abstract

This article is entitled Public Trust in Mitoni Rituals Viewed From Islamic Aqidah (Study in Rejosari Village, Muara Sugihan District, Banyuasin District) Mitoni ritual is a ritual that is held in the seventh month of pregnancy of the first child. The purpose of the mitoni ritual is so that the baby is in the womb. and pregnant women always get safety and smoothness until the time of delivery. This type of research is field research. There are two types of data in this research, namely primary data and secondary data. The primary data of this study are the main data, namely the community. Rejosari Village, which includes the village head, village traditional leaders, religious leaders and the Rejosari village community. Meanwhile, secondary data is a variety of literature and documents related to this research such as books, internet and thesis. From the results of the author's analysis, it can be concluded that the people of Rejosari Village, Muara Sugihan Kebup District aten Banyuasin, still strongly believes in the mitoni ritual. This is because the people of Rejosari village still believe that the mitoni ritual is a sacred ritual, so they are afraid to leave or ignore the ritual, because unwanted things will happen, such as death. Meanwhile, in the review of Islamic Aqidah, there is actually no prohibition against implementing mitoni, because there is not a single verse of the Al-Qur'an and Hadith that prohibits mitoni.

Abstract

The tradition of giving a customary title is the gift of a customary name that is given to every community who will carry out a marriage where the title given will be carried out by customary stakeholders. The tradition that has become the custom of the Rasuan village, the East 1 OKU tribe is still preserved until now. An interesting thing that will be examined is the traditional title which is given only when the marriage occurs. The customary title in question ia a respect for someone who will carry out a household life with a marriage, therefore they will be given a customary title, which can be said to be a second name. the traditional title tradition has a meaning as a tribute to the ancestors, has a hope and a prayer in a new life.

Abstract

This study aims to determine a culture and heritage from the ancestors that must be preserved, as well as to find out the philosophical meanings of the Semende kuntau, the uniqueness of the Semende kuntau is displayed at the wedding reception seen in front of the bride and groom. As for the formulation of the first problem in this study, what is the philosophy of the kuntau movement and symbols in marriage in the village of Segamit. Second, what is the purpose of kuntau in a marriage in Segamit village. This type of research is field research. Sources of data used in this study are primary. data and secondary data. The primary data are kuntau teachers in Semende, traditional leaders, community leaders, religious leaders and village community leaders. And secondary data is in the form of literature and documents related to this research in the form of books, journals, theses and the internet. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that kuntau is an old tradition which is still preserved and developed until now. Kuntau Semende has philosophical meanings in every movement and symbol used. There are five philosophies on the kuntau movement that are displayed in front of the bride, namely, the wrinkled movement, the stance movement, the sitting motion, the creeping motion, and the sleep movement. falsafa from this movement has a good meaning, especially for the two, pengatin, namely indicating to stay in line in a household, to always be careful in living life, to have strength, stability, and firmness in the household. The tools used are two knives. Can be interpreted as lips, when the lips move it must be with kind words and kind words.

Abstract

The Meaning of the Tradition of Offerings in the Construction of Houses for the Javanese Community. A Case Study of Development in Srimulyo Village, Air Saleh District, Banyuasin Regency. This study aims to explain the process of implementing the offering tradition and reveal the meaning of offerings in the construction of Javanese community houses in Srimulyo village, Air Saleh sub-district, Banyuasin district. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique is to use structural analysis techniques. The results of the study showed that the types and forms of offerings used were fruits which meant that the results of human labor at work would be presented. And all these traditional offering activities are a manifestation of one's devotion and respect for God and every ritual has a meaning none other than asking for peace and serenity in life.

Abstract

Philosophical Values ​​in the Midodareni Tradition in Bero Jaya Timur Village, Tungkal Jaya District, Musi Banyuasin Regency in the View of Islamic Aqidah. This study is to determine the Midodareni tradition in the perspective of Islamic aqidah and to determine the activities and symbols in the philosophical values ​​of the Midodareni tradition in Bero Jaya Timur Village, Tungkal Jaya District, Musi Banyuasin Regency in terms of Islamic aqidah. This research uses field research with qualitative methods. In this paper, the authors seek information related to the Midodareni tradition, the object of research is the Midodareni tradition of the people of Bero Jaya Timur Village, Tungkal Jaya District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. namely the customary leaders, elders, actors and religious leaders of East Bero Jaya Village and other Bero Jaya Timur Village Communities. And data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using descriptive qualitative. The results of the study indicate that the Midodareni traditional marriage process has a distinctive procedure. The Midodareni tradition in the village of Bero Jaya Timur uses the ritual of releasing chickens and balangan gantal. Meanwhile, the Midodareni tradition in terms of Islamic aqidah should not be implemented, because there is no underlying shari'a either from the al-Qur'an or the hadith of the Prophet and its rituals contain elements of shirk. The aim is none other than to stem the destruction of religion from the emergence of bid'ah which is clearly prohibited by religion. Because after all, Islam has been perfected for mankind as a straight path to the pleasure of Allah Ta'ala.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Simpang Tanjung Village, Belimbing District, Muara Enim Regency with the aim of knowing the Village Head Election Perspective of Mohammad Hatta. Mohammad Hatta is a true democrat, big-hearted, a fighter to defend the people. According to Mohammad Hatta, politics is politics that emphasizes the sovereignty of the people, the sovereignty of the people here means that the power for a government of a nation and a state rests with the people where the people are sovereign, have the power to determine how to be governed. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The subjects of this study were the Head of Simpang Tanjung Village, Village Secretary, Head of Rw, Religious Leaders, and Simpang Tanjung Village Residents. Data were collected through interview techniques, observation, documentation. The results of this study indicate that the election of the village head expected in Muhammad Hatta's thought is an election that is democratic, fair, and does not conflict with norms and religion. However, the process of electing the village head of Simpang Tanjung village still has money politics, dawn attacks, bribes, and promises about the progress and welfare of the village community. However, not all village head candidates use the above unsavory methods. On the other hand, there are still candidates for village heads who show attitudes and behaviors that are appropriate to become the new village head.

Abstract

Ibn Rushd is considered one of the greatest pioneers of enlightenment in the world, and his ideas on adherence to reason had a great influence in the East and the West. Even though, his ideas in the East and West have supporters and opponents, as it is a matter of great ideas. However, Ibn Rushd frequently was misunderstood and his ideas were often carried mistakenly by both of his supporters and opponents. This research is an attempt by the researcher to clarify Ibn Rushd's positions on the issues that raised controversy and discussion among Muslim scholars. The research is also an attempt to recognize his scientific biography and intellectual works. Abstract

The emergence of views in some Muslims, especially in Indonesia that places women as weak and inappropriate human beings to participate in the public sphere, because it cannot be separated from those that are still maintained and even maintained, so it seems that it is difficult for women to develop their careers, and even if there are only certain circles and even very limited. However, in Islam, rights and obligations are always the same regardless of human anatomy. Gender does not make a difference in Islam because the concept is justice for anyone and for all. This study uses a library research. A method in colleting data uses library study and documentation. Analyze data uses a descriptive method. Nurcholis Madjid's thoughts on political gender leadership are what will be understood in this study. The results of this study show that there are so many verses that discuss women, while the problems of gender leadership according to Nurcholis Madjid are marginalization, subordination, stereotypes or labeling, violence and the idea that women have a diligent and caring nature, so it is not appropriate to be the head of the house. As a result, women are only responsible for domestic work in the household. As for Nurcholis Madjid's opinion about women's leadership having principles, intellectual traditions, monotheism as the main value, equality and humanity. Abstract

This study aims to determine destiny in the community perspective of Srijaya Baru Village, Air Sugihan District, Ogan Komering Ilir District. The people of Srijaya Baru Village in understanding destiny are real things in life but there are also different opinions regarding the problem of destiny. The formulation of the problem in this research is 1. How is destiny in the view of Islam 2. How is the view of the people of Srijaya Baru Village to understand destiny. This type of research is field research field research. Sources of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The primary data sources are village heads, religious leaders and community leaders in Srijaya Baru Village. And secondary data is in the form of literature and documents related to this research in the form of books, journals, articles and the internet and analyzed using qualitative destcriptive techniques with a sample of 30 interviews. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded thad destiny in the perspective of the people of Srijaya Baru Village, Air Sugihan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. Happens is like there is a community who feels anxiety. Disappointed, complained about the problems he was experiencing. There are those who are grateful, endeavor and pray with the destiny that Allah has given, but there are also those who feel hopeless about what Allah has destined. Allah has given a way for humans to be able to change their destiny from bad to good from unsuccessful to successful, all of that is the will of Allah or it can be called the destiny of Allah. But god commands humans to stive in order to achieve their life goals. Allah Almighty created everything including creating human destiny. Keywords: Destiny, Faith, Fate
