Abstract

This paper critically examines the relevance of Law No. 30 of 1999 on Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution in the context of online arbitration. With the rapid growth of e-commerce and the increasing reliance on technology for dispute resolution, the legal framework governing arbitration in Indonesia has become outdated. While various arbitration institutions, such as BANI and the ICC, have adopted online arbitration processes, the existing legislation fails to accommodate these developments. This research highlights the potential legal uncertainties that arise from the lack of provisions for online arbitration in the current law and underscores the need for immediate legislative revisions. By analyzing relevant legal norms and the implementation of electronic arbitration regulations, the study aims to provide insights into how the law can be modernized to better serve the needs of contemporary dispute resolution practices in the digital age.

Abstract

Financial literacy and financial inclusion are indispensable for business actors, especially women entrepreneurs. Financial literacy is financial knowledge related to the ability to manage finances, such as making budgets, interest rate knowledge, investments, savings, and so on. Meanwhile, financial inclusion is the availability of access to financial institutions, financial products and services. Until now, there is still a gap in knowledge and financial inclusion among business actors, especially women entrepreneurs, towards financial technology. If business actors have good financial literacy and financial inclusion, they can take advantage of financial technology services for the sustainability of their business. The target group for this community service is a women's business group that is a member of the Banyumas micro small and small entrepreneurs association (ASPIKMAS) in Cilongok District. There were 30 counseling participants. Counseling is carried out face-to-face. The result of this activity is that women entrepreneurs are more familiar with financial technology services and can choose the right services needed to ensure the sustainability of their business.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based smart door lock system by utilizing Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology and the Blynk application. The system is designed to improve the level of home security by providing a variety of flexible access methods, including the use of RFID cards, smartphone apps, and emergency buttons. The prototype method is applied in system development, which involves creating a physical model to evaluate its performance and functionality. The test results showed that the system was operating properly, where RFID only responded to the registered card to unlock, thus increasing access security. Hardware design that is carried out with an economical approach and simple use of components makes this system more affordable compared to commercial smart door lock products on the market. This research shows great potential in increasing efficiency and comfort in managing home security systems and offers ease of implementation in various types of housing. Thus, this research makes a significant contribution to the development of innovative and practical solutions to improve home safety at a lower cost while providing a sense of security for its occupants.

Abstract

Tax crimes have become a significant issue in Indonesia, as taxes are vital for the government's development efforts. Failure to comply with tax obligations not only impacts the state's revenue but also hinders the equitable distribution of welfare to society. The purpose to be achieved in this study is to find out related to the authority of PPNS in the seizure and blocking of suspect assets in order to recover losses in state revenue. The method used in this study is empirical juridical where the data obtained through primary data by interviewing the DGT Bangka Belitung region. In addition, secondary data is also used to add information and strengthen the analysis related to the research topic. The results showed that the recovery of State losses can be done by the DGT where the authority can be done by confiscation and blocking of assets. This mechanism is carried out with the aim that the country does not suffer considerable losses. Tax investigation collection is one of the actions that can reduce tax crimes so that the activities carried out must be carried out efficiently in accordance with applicable regulations

Abstract

A judicial review (PK) is a legal mechanism given to parties who are dissatisfied with a decision that has permanent legal force, either in the District Court or the Supreme Court. In Indonesia, a PK application can only be submitted once, as regulated in Article 268 paragraph (3) of the Criminal Procedure Code, and often involves new evidence (novum) as a basis for requesting a judicial review. The objective to be achieved in this study is to analyze the differences related to the evidence in the District Court decision and the Supreme Court decision in the review process. The method used in this study is juridical normative where the legal material used covers the theory, concept, legal principles and some regulations in accordance with the discussion of research. The method of data collection used is literature study where secondary data are used such as books, laws and related journals. The results of this study indicate that the difference in evidence in conducting judicial review becomes one of the considerations for the acceptance or rejection of PK by the Supreme Court. However, in fact, the specification of the quality of evidence is still not clearly explained where it will only create a blur of norms. Therefore, it is not surprising when the Supreme Court rejected many of the judicial review considering that there was no eligibility for the quality of the evidence received

Abstract

Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) is the most widely cultivated freshwater fish because it can grow well in tropical countries and temperate regions. This research aims to create artificial feed that matches the nutritional parameters needed by nile tilapia. This artificial feed will use the basic ingredients of shrimp waste, with addition of oilcake, bran, starch flour, vitamins, squid oil, and water. There are four variables used to make artificial feed with different basic and additional ingredients, as well as varied processing techniques. After artificial feed is completed, proximate analysis will be carried out to test composition of crude fiber, carbohydrates, water, fat, ash, and protein using various methods. The test method for the composition of crude fiber, carbohydrates, fat, ash, and protein follows the method set by the Association of Official Analytical Chemists (AOAC). Based on the results of proximate analysis, variable 1 (V1) has fulfilled the nutritional content of protein and moisture content needed by nile tilapia. This shows that artificial feed formulations from shrimp waste can be used because protein is an important element for nile tilapia growth, but the content of crude fiber, carbohydrates, fat, and ash exceeds ideal value for nile tilapia nutrition. This also occurs in variables 2, 3, and 4 that have not met nutritional needs, especially protein. However, the composition of artificial feed with shrimp waste and addition of meal, bran, starch flour, vitamins, and water in V1 can be further investigated to reduce the content of crude fiber, carbohydrates, fat, and ash.

Abstract

Indecency includes all acts related to sexual life that violate morality (propriety), including intercourse outside of marriage. The Criminal Code classifies the crime of indecency as a crime against morality. Currently, there is a rise in the crime of indecency, with children often being the victims. Children are part of the younger generation and a potential human resource; therefore, perpetrators of sexual crimes against children must face appropriate punishment. The position of children as the younger generation who will carry forward the noble ideals of the nation requires that their rights and protection be upheld and respected. This research aims to assess the protection provided to child victims of sexual crimes in the city of Pekanbaru, as well as the forms of protection that have been established and implemented in the jurisdiction of the Pekanbaru Police Department (Polresta Pekanbaru). The research was conducted in Pekanbaru, particularly at Polresta Pekanbaru. In terms of data collection techniques, the author used a normative juridical approach, guided by legislation, legal books or literature, and other materials related to the issues and discussions in this thesis. In this context, the important role of parents and the community or the environment is emphasized to provide attention and supervision, ensuring that acts against children as victims of sexual crimes do not occur. Furthermore, in the implementation of legal protection for child victims of sexual crimes, the involved parties must actively and responsibly carry out their duties to ensure the legal protection of child victims of sexual crimes.

Abstract

This research focuses on classifying the Hulu and Kuala Banjarese dialects in the prose text “Datu Kandangan and Datu Kartamina”. These dialects represent linguistic variations resulting from geographical, social, and cultural differences among language communities, particularly in South Kalimantan, Indonesia. Language analysis methods such as Python Natural Language Toolkit (NLTK), NumPy, and Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) Visualization (LyLDAvis) were employed to classify the dialects, involving data preprocessing steps like tokenization, punctuation removal, stop word normalization, and stemming. The research findings reveal the superiority of the "Naive Bayes" method over the "Boolean Query," achieving high accuracy in identifying positive examples and classifying texts into Upper and Lower Banjar dialects. The "Naive Bayes" method outperforms the "Boolean Query" with precision and recall values of 0.955563 and 0.956098, while the "Boolean Query" only reaches 0.021416 and 0.146341. This study makes a significant scholarly contribution to understanding language and cultural diversity in South Kalimantan, opening opportunities for further exploration in developing Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology for Indonesian regional languages.
