Abstract

The pandemic covid-19 had a tremendous, alarming, and confusing shock effect that in turn presents an unhappy situation. This situation is evocative and calling on the people to address it, including the church through pastoral reflections and social actions. Using the approach of literature studies and field observations, this paper tries to explore the basic spirit of biblis as a basic in building compassio (concerns and follow-up actions that accompany it) to those most vulnerable to the pandemic covid-19. This paper is a follow-up implication of Pope Francis catechism about "restoring the world" elaborate in three sub-themes, namely the restoration of the world in the light of the gospel, theological primacy and the principles of the social teachings of the church. This study found that in the midst of the pandemic covid-19, the church does not stay silent in its comfort but participates in the presence in the word. First, the church is present through its theological-biblical reflections. Second, the church also descends to their members and listens to their stories and through its solidarity actions the church participates in restoring the word. Pandemi covid-19 telah memberikan efek kejut yang luar biasa, mencemaskan, dan membingungkan yang pada gilirannya menghadirkan keadaan yang tidak membahagiakan. Keadaan ini menggugah sekaligus memanggil para pihak untuk menyikapinya, termasuk Gereja melalui refleksi-refleksi pastoral dan aksi-aksi sosial lapangan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kajian pustaka dan observasi lapangan, tulisan ini mencoba menggali spirit dasar biblis sebagai kiblat dalam membangun compassio (keprihatinan dan aksi lanjutan yang menyertainya) terhadap mereka yang paling rentan terdampak pandemi covid-19. Tulisan ini merupakan implikasi lanjutan dari katekese Paus Fransiskus yang bertema besar “memulihkan dunia” yang dijabarkan dalam tiga sub tema, yakni pemulihan dunia dalam terang Injil, keutamaan teologis dan prinsip-prinsip ajaran sosial Gereja. Kajian ini menemukan bahwa di tengah gempuran pandemi covid-19, Gereja tidak tinggal diam dalam kenyamanannya melainkan turut serta hadir di tengah umat manusia. Pertama-tama, Gereja hadir melalui refleksi-refleksi teologis-biblisnya. Kedua, Gereja juga turun langsung ke tengah umatnya untuk mendengarkan kisah mereka dan melalui aksi solidaritasnya Gereja turut serta dalam memenuhi kebutuhan ekonomis umat manusia.

Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic has had such a great influence in various sectors of life and one of the sectors that has felt the impact of this pandemic is the world of education. The online learning from home policy is a strategy to control the transmission of covid-19. This policy is considered very well done to break the chain of transmission of covid-19 in the country. The Learning From Home (BDR) policy forces schools or universities in the country to switch to the world of digital technology so that the learning process runs effectively. The use of technological tools in this situation is a necessity because the world is currently in the 4.0 revolution. Thus, the online method is the most appropriate alternative in the teaching and learning process in this pandemic situation. The application of online learning during this pandemic in the country is certainly not carried out optimally because various obstacles or problems have been found. Problems or obstacles such as internet network problems, data quotas, lack of learning media, weak teacher supervision, teachers who are not technology literate, weak parental supervision in children's learning and so on. This condition is a real problem that occurs in the application of the online learning model. This article will reveal how effective online learning is during the covid-19 pandemic. Pandemi covid-19 telah memberikan pengaruh yang begitu besar dalam aneka sektor kehidupan dan salah satu sektor yang merasakan dampak dari pandemi ini adalah dunia pendidikan. Kebijakan belajar dari rumah (learning from home) secara daring merupakan sebuah strategi pengendalian penularan covid-19. Kebijakan tersebut dinilai sangat baik dilakukan untuk memutus mata rantai penularan covid-19 di tanah air yang semakin mengganas. Kebijakan Belajar Dari Rumah (BDR) tersebut memaksa sekolah-sekolah atau Perguruan Tinggi di tanah air untuk beralih ke dunia teknologi digital agar proses pembelajaran berjalan efektif. Penggunaan alat teknologi dalam situasi ini merupakan sebuah keniscayaan sebab dunia saat ini berada pada revolusi 4.0. Dengan demikian, maka metode daring merupakan alternatif paling tepat dalam proses belajar mengajar pada situasi pandemi ini. Penerapan pembelajaran daring pada masa pandemi ini di tanah air tentu dijalankan belum secara maksimal sebab ditemukan aneka hambatan atau persoalan yang terjadi. Persoalan atau hambatan seperti masalah jaringan internet, kuota data, tidak adanya media pembelajaran, lemahnya pengawasan guru, guru tidak melek teknologi, lemahnya pengawasan orang tua dalam belajar anak dan lain sebagainya. Kondisi tersebut merupakan masalah riil yang terjadi dalam penerapan model pembelajaran daring. Tulisan ini akan mengungkap bagaimana efektivitas pembelajaran daring pada masa pandemi covid-19.

Abstract

This article is entitled The Impact of Publication Through Digital Media. The approach method used by the author is a survey of the communication of young people, parents and religious leaders who follow the proclamation through official and unofficial digital media sites. The survey used a sample of 50 official and unofficial media and the survey results show that young people, parents and religious leaders are interested in using digital media because reporting is more effective, creative and not boring by applying various reporting methods. But on the other hand, young people and parents experience confusion, because through unofficial media sites, journalists build their personal opinions, blurring the content of reporting and preaching is more directed to personal business, not at the core of the teachings of the Christian faith, namely the interests of salvation. Artikel ini berjudul Dampak Pewartaan Melalui Media Digital. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan penulis adalah survey terhadap komunikasi para orang muda, orangtua dan tokoh agama yang mengikuti pewartaan melalui situs media digital resmi maupun tidak resmi. Survey dengan sample yang digunakan sebanyak 50 media resmi dan tidak resmi dan hasil survey menunjukkan bahwa orang muda, orangtua dan tokoh agama tertarik menggunakan media digital karena pewartaan lebih efektif, kreatif dan tidak membosankan dengan menerapkan metode pewartaan yang variatif. Namun di sisi lain, orang muda dan orangtua mengalami kebingungan, karena melalui situs media tidak resmi, pewarta membangun opini pribadinya mengaburkan isi pewartaan dan pewartaan diwartakan lebih mengarah kepada bisnis pribadi bukan pada inti dari ajaran iman kristiani yakni kepentingan keselamatan.

Abstract

This research is intended to examine the social teachings of the Church of Pope Francis during the pandemic. It is interesting to study because the social teachings of the Church which has been rolling from time to time since 1891 covers documents classified as the social teachings of the Church; while the catechesis of Pope Francis during the pandemic in nine themes was directly entitled "The Social Teachings of the Church of Pope Francis in the Pandemic Era" which is a unitary theme immediately given the title as a social teaching of the Church (during the pandemic). For this reason, in order to ascertain the distinctive color of Pope Francis' teachings, the author re-examines the documents of the Social Teachings of Church that have existed since Pope Leo XIII, Rerum Novarum to John Paul II, Laborem Exercens. For that, the research method used is document research. From the results of the research conducted, it is concluded that the perspective of social life as a common house is an appendix to the entire teaching of Pope Francis in this document.
