Abstract

The study aims to determine the completeness of the administration of farmers' groups in North Tomohon Sub-district, Tomohon City. The research was conducted from July to September 2016. The data were used primary data. Sampling method on three (3) groups of farmers in the district of North Tomohon is done by purposive sampling. The variables in this study are the characteristics of the board of farmer group organizations (Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer), characteristics of the farmer group (the name of the farmer groups, year of farmer groups established, and the number of members of farmer groups) and administrative group books. The administration books have two main parts: the books of administrative activities and the books of administration finance. The analysis used for variable administrative and financial administration which each answer is associated with a form of the statement expressed by the words that Good was given Score: 3, Less Good granted Score: 2 and No Good granted Score: 1. The results of this research farmer group that is located relatively far from BP3K Office have good administrative requirements compared to the farmer group that is located very close to BP3K Offuce. That's because a group of farmers near BP3K office has motivation to get funding and the lack of cooperation among the board members in addition to the lack of visitation held by agriculutere extension staf, while the farmer groups that located far from BP3K Office has established with motivated to increase the welfare of members of farmers, the board members has good cooperation and good management. It is also the group always get the attention of the agriculutre extension staf by holding regular visitation to the farmer groups and therefore contributes positively to the administrative requirements for farmers' groupsKeywords: administration, farmers group, North Tomohon Sub-district, Tomohon City

Abstract

The study aims to identify factors - factors that affect consumer purchasing decisions of fruit in Freshmart Tikala, Manado based on aspects of individual consumers, environmental influences and marketing strategies. This study is a qualitative research with quantitative approach. The research was conducted from September to December 2016 in Freshmart Tikala, Manado. The data used are primary data obtained through interviews with 60 respondents who have bought fruit in October 2016. The sampling method is to use accidental sampling method. Analysis of the data used consisted of a questionnaire test, classic assumption test, descriptive analysis, regression test, determination test, F test and t test. These results indicate the test results of multiple regression analysis is positive and significant F-test value <0.05, which means simultaneously independent variables affect the dependent variable. The results of t test analysis of individual consumer variables, environmental influences and marketing strategies significant value <0.05 means that the independent variable (the individual consumer, environmental influences, and marketing strategies) partially influence on purchasing decisions. The variable most influential in purchasing decisions is variable marketing strategy that has the highest coefficient of 0,243 and 0,000 significant value. Thus the individual consumer factors, environmental influences and marketing strategy and a significant positive influence in decisions on buying fruit.Keywords: consumer, purchasing decisions, fruit, Freshmart, Tikala, Manado

Abstract

This study aims to determine the activities of the Amurang Port on the economy of the communities around the harbor. This research was conducted at the Amurang, Sub-district of West Amurang, South Minahasa Regency. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method. The reason for using qualitative methods for this research seeks to find answers to questions relating to the socio-economic life of the commonity who are residing around the port. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Data was collected by using observation, interview and documentation. The research found that the activities in Amurang Port can increase the income of local communities, opening up a new business thus increasing employment absortion, there are trading activities and there are social-economic activities around the harbor. Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the PNPM Mandiri activities to the income of farmers. Research conducted in September through December 2016. The data used are primary data obtained through interviews to 20 (twenty) of the respondents in this case women's credit group (SPP) through the list of questions regarding before and after participating in PNPM-MP and secondary data obtained from the District Office and the Office of Paslaten Tatapaan Sub-district. Analysis of the data used is the analysis kuantitattif using different test average by using the formula paired samples t-test. The results showed PNPM-MP have a positive impact where the income of farmers increasing from Rp.70,663,000 with an average of Rp. 3,533.150 to Rp. 126,397,250 with an average Rp.6,319,862.50,- so that it increases 78.87 %. Therefore this program can help in agriculture where it has been increasing farmers' income after the program PNPM-MP so farmers can expand their farming land.Keywords : National Community Empowerment Program (PNPM-MP), Farmer Income, Paslaten Village, Sub-district of Tatapaan, South Minahasa District

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the factors - factors affecting the level of unemployment in theprovince of North Sulawesi. These factors include wages, inflation and GDP growth. This study usesmultiple linear regression analysis with Ordinary Least Square method (OLS) was performed using14 years data from 2001 to 2014. The results showed wage variables significantly influence theunemployment rate in North Sulawesi province with probability 0.0104, while inflation and levels ofGDP growth does not significantly influence the unemployment rate with respective probabilities0.5619 for Inflation and 0.3791 for GDP growth.Keywords: affecting factors, wages, inflation, GDP growth, unemployment, North Sulawesi Province

Abstract

The purpose of this study to look at income differences between ethnic Local and Non Local of paddy rice farmers in Sangkub irrigated areas. This study took places in the village of Sangkub Two and Pangkusa Village, Sub-district of Sangkub, District of North Bolaang Mongondow. The study conducted from September to December 2016. Data collection is Primary and Secondary data. The primary data obtained through interviews using a questionnaire to 40 respondent farmers from two different ethnicities. They are 20 persons of Local ethnic and 20 persons of Non Local ethnic using simple random sampling method. Secondary data were obtained from the agencies concerned, namely the North Bolmong District Agriculture Office. The data collected in the study: (1) The characteristics of farmers, (2) Expenditures of the farmer (IDR), Income (IDR). Analysis of data used Analisys of Farm Income and Analysis of average difference by using t-test. The results showed that the income of farmers of paddy between ethnic Local and Non-Local is different where non-local ethnic incomes have higher incomes than the local ethnic.Key words: income differences, paddy rice farmers, Local and Non-Local Non, Sub-district of Sangkub, North Bolaang Mongondow District

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Members Participation in the Village Farmer Group Kalelon Kauneran District of Sonder Minahasa. The study lasted three months, the month of July 2016 until September 2016, ranging from preparation to preparation of research reports. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The primary data obtained through interviews to respondents by using questionnaire and secondary data obtained through the office of the Village Kauneran. Data collection technique used census techniques are all members of the Farmers Group Kalelon of 20 people interviewed using a questionnaire. Analysis of the data in this study using the descriptive analysis and also using a Likert scale, with level 1 (underactive), 2 (active), 3 (highly active). The results showed, based on the Likert Scale, that the number of index Member Participation in Farmers Kalelon in the planning stage which also includes, liveliness and activeness followed meetings to provide input. Parisipasi members in the implementation phase also includes the activity, the activity of paddy rice cultivation, active in horticultural crop cultivation, active in post-harvest harvest to rice paddy, active in post-harvest harvest to horticultural crops, liveliness mengiktuti counseling, active in giving mandatory dues. Participation of members in the evaluation phase which include involvement in monitoring the group's activities, involvement in a variety of outcome measures farming activities. Participation of members of Kalelon farmer groups in the planning phase, the implementation phase and the evaluation phase were at 86, 5 is relatively high. Further analysis showed that the level of participation of members of the Farmer Group Kalelon on the score of 519 out of the range of the number of ideal scoring the highest score was 600 and the lowest score is 200. Suggestions in this research for members of farmer groups to improve their Kalelon activeness in following the extension because it are the main participants and entrepreneurs in the development of food security and the government should pay attention to what the needs of the farmer groups Kalelon for the development of farmer groups in general.Keywords: Participation, Member, Farmers Group Kalelon, Kauneran Village, Sonder District, Minahasa

Abstract

This study aims to determine how how big the valuations of water in the spring Tataneyan located in the Village Kinilow I, District of North Tomohon, Tomohon, by using the concept of economic valuation to calculate the value of the utilization of water resources directly or indirectly. This study was conducted from October to December 2016, using primary and secondary data with sampling technique simple random sampling method and the respondents as many as 30 people. Analysis of the data used is quantitative analysis to identify the value of the value of benefits in the area of water resources in the waters Tataneyan value direct use for domestic households and public bath are also value the presence of fish breeding and agricultural irrigation water spinach. The results showed that the area of the springs Tataneyan have a total economic benefit value of Rp. 1.586.715.372/year. By calculating the average value of the obtained surplus WTP consumers showed the overall consumer receives more benefits than the actual price that is able to pay in exploiting springs Tataneyan. Abstract

This study aims to (1) identify the level of untidiness of setllement area in Sindulang Satu Urban Village based on identification of slum conditions (physical), other considerations and legality of land at the site, (2) analyze the pattern of handling the slums and choose the appropriate pattern to be applied to the region. Region slums in the city of Manado North Sulawesi selected as the study area. Limitation of the study area is determined on a region-located strategically Sindulang One area that affects the tourism sector as well as residential typology which is a blend of rolling hills and waterfront settlements (DAS Tondano) and the beach (Boulevard Phase II). The research was conducted for 2 (two) months from the month of January 2017 to February 2017. Methods of data collection is done by the method of field research (Field Research Methods) as well as with library research methods (Library Research Methode). The data used in this research is the primary data collected and processed its own form of existing data found in the object of research is the identification of space utilization, status of ownership of land and buildings, state of the infrastructure and facilities of existing settlements. In addition, also used secondary data is data obtained from other parties or data that are processed or published by various government agencies (Kotaku. 2016). The variables used in this study is the data on the observation of research sites, including the identification of the condition of untidiness / physical, identification of other considerations and identification of the legality of the land, as follows: (1) The condition of the building, (2) The condition of roads, with criteria ie the coverage of the environment and the quality of the road surface environment, (3) the condition of water supply, (4) the condition of drainage environment, (5) Condition wastewater management, (6) Conditions waste management, (7) the condition of fire protection, (8) another consideration, (9) The legality of land. The analysis was performed with regard to the object of analysis and interpretation of the data description of the physical condition, other considerations and the legality of land obtained in the field / location of research and literature review, then associated with a pattern appropriate treatment to be applied to an area of research. The analysis was performed using analysis techniques Formula Rate location based on the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing No. 02 / PRT / M / 2016 on Improving the Quality of the Slum Housing and Slum (Anon. 2016). Then the pattern of treatment in improving the quality of slum area carried out in accordance with Law No. 1 of 2011 Article 97 (Anonymous, 2011), through (1) The restoration; (2) Rejuvenation; or (3) Resettlement. Handling practices followed by management to maintain the quality of housing and settlements. The research showed that (1) the area of Sindulang One Urban Village is one area of slums in the city of Manado with typologies / characteristics of settlements in the hills, plains and the waters edge (DAS Tondano and the waterfront) is based on the identification of the condition of untidiness, other considerations and the legality of land categorized as slum heavy that its existence is affecting the level of the city of Manado in general untidiness, therefore, this area can be prioritized to be one of the priority areas in the handling of the slums. The pattern of treatment that can be done to do that is the rejuvenation of the city with alternative land sharing to maximize the feasibility of the location to the fulfillment of environmental facilities and public facilities on land that is legal, and the land consolidation which is a pattern of development that is based on the wisdom of setting land ownership to improve the quality of life and maintenance resources natural as well as maximizing the strategic location of the region.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the potential and opportunities of Tourism Region Pulisan, identify any weaknesses and threats, and define management strategies of Pulisan Coastal Region. This research used descriptive method to interpret the data. This research was conducted at the Village of Pulisan, East Likupang Sub-district, North Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province which began in March to August 2016. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and used Theory of Tourism System. Respondents in this study is the government of North Minahasa Regency. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. This study uses a model of SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) factors predefined both from the view of experts as well as existing regulation. Then analyze the internal and external factors that are arranged in a matrix of IFAs (Internal Factor Analysis) and EFAS (External Factor Analysis). Research using SWOT analysis weights and scores are determined based on the analysis of data obtained from the respondents. The results showed that the tourism area is Pulisan Tourism Regions with high natural potential and much in demand by tourists. Although the location is not too wide but has many interesting attractions Tourism Region of Pulisan natural appeal to different types of travelers with different motivations. Development undertaken by the community with the coaching is done by the Department of Tourism and Culture of North Minahasa provide a change of design in terms of tourist facilities. Rearrangement taking into account the priority needs of tourists in the tourism area, this will greatly affect its development, so that tourists and travelers can feel the value of Marine Tourism Region at an affordable price. Growth strategies that are used to provide benefits for local residents. High tourist visits every weekend is expected to give local residents the ability to develop, it need guidance from relevant agencies to provide more targeted development.
