Abstract

This research aims to analyze the labor absorption of the stilt house industry in Tombasian Atas Village, West Kawangkoan District. The research was conducted from February to May 2021. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the stilt house industry in Tombasian Atas Village, Kawangkoan Barat District consisted of 3 (three) types, namely type 1 room, type 2 room, and type 3 room. The production of each type consists of 32 units per year for the one bedroom type, 40 units per year for the two bedroom type, and 10 units per year for the three bedroom type. The one-room stilt house type can absorb 51 workers, the two-room type absorbs 87 workers, and the three-room type absorbs 51 workers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the added value of peanuts processing into rondam peanuts at rondam peanuts business UD. Mars in Pardomuan I Village, Pangururan District, Samosir Regency. This research was conducted from April to June 2021. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained through direct interviews with (one respondent), namely the owner of the rondam peanuts business UD. Mars by using a questionnaire containing written questions, while secondary data was obtained from the BPS of North Sumatra Province, journals and theses that have a relationship with this research. The data analysis method used in this study is value added analysis using Hayami calculations. The results showed that the added value of UD.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income of the fruit trading business in the Perkamil Village, Manado City. The research site is located close to the Tikala Sector Police Office, Manado City. The time of the research was carried out for 3 months from December 2020 to February 2021. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through interviews with all traders in the location as many as 7 respondents (traders).The analysis used is income analysis. The results showed that the total revenue was greater than the total cost so that the business was profitable and feasible to continue.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors causing the conversion of agricultural lands in Koha Village, Mandolang District, Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted from November 2019 to July 2020. The types of data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from interviews with respondents using questionnaires while secondary data was obtained from previous research literature. The data analysis method in this research is descriptive analysis which is presented in tabular form. The method of determining the sample using the Purposive Sampling method. Respondents taken are land owners who convert agricultural land functions. The results showed that the conversion of agricultural land was influenced by 2 factors, namely (1) External Factors, where the high selling price of land was influenced by the strategic location of the land because the land was intended for tourist attractions so that the selling price was high. (2) Other internal factors, where some respondents use the proceeds from the sale for business capital and some respondents transfer the function of their agricultural land because there is no one to take care of it and the respondent's education level is influential in the negotiation process for selling agricultural land.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the Revenue of “Cherry Tomatoes” in the Urban Hydrofarm Business Hydroponic Technique in Batu Kota, Malalayang District, Manado City. Quantitative data analysis method to determine the income of “Cherry Tomatoes” Hydroponic Engineering Business Urban Hydrofarm. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through interviews with the help of a list of previously prepared questions. Secondary data were obtained from books, internet, journals, and other sources related to the problems discussed in this study. The results showed that the total revenue from the “Cherry Tomato” Urban Hydrofarm business was Rp. 8.600,000. While the total cost incurred in the production process of cherry tomatoes during the 6-month planting period is Rp. 6.234.200. So that the Urban Hydrofarm business hydroponic technique “Cherry Tomatoes” obtained in Batu Kota, Malalayang District, Manado City, is Rp. 2.365.800, during 5x harvest / 6 planting period.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the advantages of vegetable stalls before and during the Covid-19 pandemic in Liwas, Ranomuut Village, Paal Dua District, Manado City. Located close to the Office of Religious Affairs in Paal Dua District. The time of conducting the research in September 2020 to November 2020. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from 4 respondents (traders) and using a list of questions that had been prepared previously. Secondary data were obtained from books, internet, journals and other sources related to the problems in this study. The analysis used is profit analysis. The results showed that profits decreased during the pandemic with the average profit earned before the pandemic was Rp 134.137 and the average profit during the pandemic was Rp 35.896.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the public's perception of hydroponic vegetable plants in Batukota Village, Malalayang District, Manado City. This research was carried out for 3 (three) months, from April to June 2021. This research was carried out in Batukota Village, Malalayang District, Manado City. The method of data collection is done by survey method, the data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from direct interviews with the people of Batukota Village using a questionnaire. Secondary data were obtained from the Urban Hydrofarm manager and the Batukota Urban Village Office, as well as other data deemed relevant. Analysis of the data used in this study is descriptive analysis with measurements using a Likert Scale. Sampling was carried out by means of Simple Random Sampling as many as 30 samples. The results showed that there were still many people in Batukota Village who did not know about vegetable crops using hydroponic techniques.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of extension workers in improving rice farming in West Kosio Village, Dumoga Tengah District. This research was conducted from October to December 2020 at Kosio Barat Village, Dumoga Tengah District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency. The method used is a survey method by taking primary data obtained through direct interviews using a list of questions (questionnaires), and secondary data obtained from the village office, as well as related agencies. Sampling used simple random sampling method, with a sample of 25 rice farmers in West Kosio Village and 1 extension worker in West Kosio Village, a total of 26 respondents. The results showed that the percentage index of the role of extension workers in rice farming was 54% (less role).

Abstract

This study aims to understand the level of income of the palm sugar home industry in Kaayuran Atas Village, South Langowan District. This study was conducted in February 2021. The data collected in this study is a primary data, which is the data obtained through direct interviews with respondents in the field using a list of questions (questionnaires). And secondary data obtained from agencies related to research problems (related agencies), including physical data of Kaayuran Atas Village and data related to research. The results showed that the income of the palm sugar home industry in Kaayuran Atas Village, South Langowan District, was obtained from the reduction between the average income of the palm sugar home industry of Rp. 5,839,166/month with a production cost of Rp. 5,885,469 then the cost is lacking than Rp. 46,303/month indicates that the palm sugar home industry in Kaayuran Atas Village suffers a loss, but because it uses labor from the family member so that the average labor cost is Rp. 3,600,000 being excluded then the total production cost becomes Rp. 2,209,000 so that the income of the palm sugar household industry in Kaayuran Atas Village is Rp. 3,319,000 making the palm sugar home industry doesn’t suffer from a loss because it  exclude the labor costs and they (the palm sugar home industry managers) still have other jobs such as gardening.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of the agricultural sector on the economy in Mimika Regency, Papua Province. The type of data used in this study is secondary data, which is data collected by data collection agencies and published to the public. The data analysis used is sectoral contribution analysis, growth rate analysis, and location quotient (LQ) analysis. The results showed that the agricultural sector had no role in the economy of Mimika Regency. The contribution of the agricultural sector in Mimika Regency is low, ranking fifth after the mining, construction, trade, information and communication sectors. The growth of the agricultural sector is also relatively low and tends to decline. Although the LQ value of the agricultural sector is non-basic, it is a strategic sector, especially for the agricultural sub-sector that provides domestic food needs where the agricultural sector also consists of several sub-sectors that directly contribute to boosting the regional economy in Mimika Regency.
