Ad-DA’WAH adalah jurnal akses terbuka yang menerbitkan hasil penelitian berfokus pada dakwah dan ilmu-ilmu keislaman dengan lingkup mencakup: 1. Materi dakwah (māddah al-da’wah) yang meliputi bidang akidah, syariah (ibadah dan mu’amalah) dan Akhlak; dakwah dan politik, Pendidikan Islam, ekonomi dan sosial budaya 2. Kajian tentang Subjek dan obyek Dakwah (dā’i wa mad’u); 3. Penelitian metode dakwah (thāriqoh al-da’wah) dan penerapan dan evaluasinya; 4. Strategi dan tujuan (maqāshid al-da’wah). 5. Media dan komunikasi dakwah (wasīlah al-da’wah), retorika, penyiaran (broadcasting) dan jurnalisme, public relation. 6. Manajemen dan organisasi dakwah, serta pemberdayaan masyarakat (development of Islamic society).

<![CDATA[The da’wah process carried out by the Prophet Moseswas not an easy matter. There were several obstacles to preaching, including the attitude of Pharaoh as the ruler of Egypt, who was very cruel, ruthless and authoritarian. Meanwhile, the Prophet Moses himself had a deficiency in the level of citizenship status in the country, namely as a child of Israel who was an ordinary citizen who was cared for since childhood by Pharaoh and belonged to the slave caste class. According to the author, this theme is very interesting to be studied further and then integrated with communication and da'wah science so that collaboration is established in historical aspects and contemporary da'wah communication science. In the process of carrying out his da'wah activities to King Pharaoh, Prophet Moses Used two da'wah methods, namely da’wah bi al-haal and da’wah bi al-lisan. The da’wah bi al-lisan used by the Prophet Moses included qaulan layyinan, qaulan balighan, qaulan sadidan. In carrying out the research the author uses a qualitative-descriptive method based on literature studies and synchronization of the story of the Prophet Moseswith the theory of da'wah communication. The results of this study obtained data that the da'wah used by Prophet Moses to King Pharaoh can be categorized as persuasive da'wah in the sense of using a dialogical attitude that is straight forward, serving (gentle), truthful (sadidan) without insulting, rebuking even in this case Moses was in the right position, received support from Allah and had various miracles.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui sosok Lucifer dan Dajjal dalam Islam. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kualitatif melalui analisis teoritis dan kajian pustaka. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa lucifer dalam satanisme merupakan simbol pemberontakan terhadap otoritas. Lucifer dalam Islam dikaitkan dengan iblis atau setan sehingga lucifer dan Dajjal dianggap sebagai satu hal yang sama. Lucifer adalah simbol bahwa setan mampu menguasai dunia. Selain itu, lucifer adalah simbol penghormatan atas keberaniannya dalam menentang perintah Tuhan. Ciri-ciri lucifer dalam satanisme tidak disebutkan secara spesifik. Sedangkan, Dajjal dicirikan sebagai sosok Yahudi berbandan tinggi besar, berambut keriting, berwajah kemerah-merahan dan memiliki keledai yang bisa terbang. Kemunculan Dajjal sebagai tanda terjadinya kiamat besar dan akan banyak terjadi fitnah besar di seluruh tempat. Dajjal menjelajahi semua tempat di bumi kecuali, kota Makkah dan Madinah. Dajjal dibunuh oleh Nabi Isa a.s. di pintu Ludd. Pemahaman mengenai Lucifer dan Dajjal dibahas agar umat manusia dapat terhindar dari fitnah Dajjal.]]>

<![CDATA[The findings from this research confirm that multicultural education in the view of the Qur'an does not conflict with the Islamic system in all its aspects and especially Islam as a source of law. The differences that exist are precisely as assets for scholars to study them, as a scientific discourse. Through multicultural education, it is hoped that each individual and group will accept and appreciate the differences that exist, live side by side in harmony in order to create a peaceful society and a united nation. Another interesting discovery from this research is that Islam teaches the importance of unity, brotherhood, respect for diversity, respect for human values, the desire to form a harmonious and just society and the importance of respecting all people. In fact, several characteristics are formed by the verses of the Al-Qur' interpretation and interpretation as a reference that shows the concept of multicultural education parallel to Islamic teachings governing the structure of human beings living on earth, especially in the context of education.]]>

<![CDATA[In the era of technological and informational disruption, the practice of dakwah as a form of religious communication faces various complex challenges. This research explores the challenges of dakwah in the era of technological and informational disruption, with a focus on the perspective of social psychology. Qualitative methods are employed to comprehend the impact of technology on dakwah and the psychological dynamics involved in the process. The study examines changes in behavior and societal perceptions towards dakwah, as well as the role of social media and technology in shaping attitudes towards dakwah messages. Through the identification of effective psychological strategies, this research demonstrates that the social psychological aspect plays a crucial role in addressing the challenges of dakwah arising from technological disruption. The implications of these findings support the development of adaptive and responsive dakwah strategies to the evolving social changes in modern society. Additionally, this research provides insights into the role of social psychology in religious communication in the continually evolving technological era.]]>

<![CDATA[This research stems from the importance of understanding the relationship between Islamic movement, politics, and the implementation of amar ma'ruf nahi munkar within the framework of the principle of ulama consultation (ijtima). This study aims to elucidate the implications of this relationship as well as the distinction between ijtima' and ijma as decision-making processes. The method employed is library research and document analysis. Findings indicate that the principle of consultation in the Quran provides a basis for the participation of scholars and even the general populace in decision-making concerning various matters pertaining to the community, including matters of state. Decisions resulting from the ijtima' process differ from the ijma in the context of Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh). While ijma represents the consensus of scholars recognized as authoritative in determining Islamic legal rulings binding upon the Muslim community, decisions arising from the ijtima' process are more akin to outcomes of deliberation and consensus within the context of specific, situational, and limited decisions applicable to specific groups.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to investigate the influence of da'wah media on the Islamic motivation of students at MTs 29 Jakarta. The research method used is a quantitative method with a correlational research design. The sample for this research was MTs 29 Jakarta students, totaling 605 respondents, consisting of 269 male and 336 female students. The instrument used was a questionnaire to measure the use of da'wah media and the level of students' Islamic motivation. The collected data was analyzed using simple regression analysis techniques. The results of the research show that there are positive and negative influences from the use of da'wah media with Islamic motivation for students at MTs 29 Jakarta. The implication of this research is the important role of da'wah media in increasing students' Islamic motivation in Islamic educational institutions. This research also provides input for related parties to pay more attention to the use of da'wah media as a means of increasing students' Islamic motivation.]]>

<![CDATA[Moderate Islamic da'wah has become an increasingly relevant topic in the political and social context in Indonesia. This da'wah emphasizes the values of simplicity, tolerance, interfaith dialogue, and acceptance of differences. However, political realities in Indonesia are often complex and do not always support moderate da'wah efforts. This research explores the relationship between moderate Islamic da'wah and political realities in Indonesia, with a focus on the challenges and opportunities faced by moderate Islamic da'wah movements in facing diverse political dynamics. The aim of this research is to determine the extent of the role of moderate Islamic preaching in influencing societal harmony in political reality in Indonesia. This article concludes that although political realities in Indonesia are often challenging, moderate Islamic da'wah movements still have the opportunity to develop and make a positive contribution in building an inclusive and harmonious society. Collaborative efforts between various parties, including political elites, religious leaders, and civil society activists, are urgently needed to overcome challenges and strengthen the propagation of moderate Islam in Indonesia.]]>

The problem addressed is how Muslim female members of the DKI Jakarta Regional Legislative Council integrate Islamic values into public policy. This study aims to analyze their da'wah roles through structural approaches, such as strengthening religious institutions, empowering the economy, advocating for sharia-based policies, and enhancing family development. <![CDATA[This study discusses the formation of Qur'anic character through Islamic preaching and its relationship with the character education values set by the government. The Qur'an teaches that ethics towards Allah and the Prophet are the main foundation for building noble character, which is then reflected in human relationships. Through Qur'anic-based preaching, values such as religiosity, honesty, tolerance, discipline, and responsibility can be applied in everyday life. Using a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis, this study examines preaching materials, including Qur'anic texts and preaching delivered through lectures, books, and digital platforms. The findings indicate that Islamic preaching not only focuses on spiritual character formation but also strengthens moral values that support character development in all aspects of life, including curiosity, creativity, environmental awareness, and national spirit.]]>
