Abstract

In this era of globalization, the development of Asian communications has begun to show an increasingly open dynamic. This article seeks to explore the application of the Asian communication model in modern political rhetoric and its implications for relations development. Asian-based communication requires continuous study. The diverse social and cultural dynamics that are based on the culture of selfishness are not yet fully understood only on the basis of Western communication theory. This article seeks to explain the advantages of a "culture-based" communication model that can develop meaningful relationships in the context of modern political rhetoric by building strong and empathic relationships, enhancing the effectiveness of messages, reducing polarization, and enhancing constructive dialogue.

Abstract

Public relations communication is a communication tool between an institution and the community. Public relations communication activities are carried out by public relations officers who are in charge of distributing information and services to the public. The purpose of the article is to analyze the effectiveness of public relations communication at the Office of the Ministry of Religion of West Lombok Regency. Using mathematical theory to answer supporting and inhibiting factors. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the research subject on public relations communication activities at the West Lombok Regency Ministry of Religion office. Primary data is in the form of information data from public relations members and the fostered community in the West Lombok Regency area. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The results show that the effectiveness of public relations communication in excellent service to the community in West Lombok Regency consists of human resources that are still lacking in the public relations team, a digital information system that has not been maximized, and a programmed information system and community services in the public relations team. Supporting factors include information services and community development in collaboration with the Hindu and Islamic Bimas sub-units, support for access to information on the kemenagntb.com website, the availability of sufficient budget to fund the public relations work system in community services.

Abstract

Public Speaking skills must be learned by children at an early age. This skill needs to be taught to children to help them be brave enough to communicate with people. This research activity aims to train children to have Public Speaking skills through mesatua, where this ability will certainly be useful for life at home and at school and work in the future. The purpose of this research was conducted to add Public Speaking skills through mesatua to early childhood. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using observation techniques, and documentation. The results of this study are that children are able and brave to come forward to tell stories well and confidently and become brave to speak in front of their friends. In addition, this activity brings benefits to them, namely increasing confidence in meeting and communicating with many people, adding insight into the history of Hinduism and increasing and preserving mesatua culture.

Abstract

The leap of digital technology has brought significant changes in broadcast communication. The dynamics of these changes have significant consequences for media convergence, especially in the management of the Hindu pulpit program at TVRI NTB. Using a case study approach, this article seeks to describe the strategies and challenges of media convergence in the Hindu pulpit program through the YouTube channel. The results showed that the current challenges of media convergence include the amount of content that must be uploaded, the lack of human resources who handle content management, the less interesting pulpit program, and the absence of sufficient time to watch the pulpit program. Strategies used to deal with media convergence by conducting various promotions through other media, broadcasting special events and creating interesting and relevant topics.

Abstract

Intensive and equitable communication is an important method of persuasion for food diversification. Cooperation between institutions is important to realize the idea of food security in the regions, because the regions are the embodiment of the concept of national food security. One of these agendas was carried out in Likotuden village by farmer groups together with NGOs. In it, cooperation and relations with the government are established. The purpose of this study is to explain the communication that occurs in Likotuden sorghum village related to sorghum food security. This research is a qualitative research with a case study method. The results of the study show that there has been communication in Likotuden Village to realize food security. The communication established between NGOs and community groups that are members of the Herin Lela sorghum farmer group plays an important role in helping farmers to be independent in food security and household economic security.

Abstract

West Lombok Regency has designated Suranadi as a cultural tourism village. One of the tourist attractions in Suranadi village is Suranadi temple. The arrival of tourists to this place causes social interaction between tourism components so that tourism communication occurs. From the researcher's observations, tourist visits not only carry out rituals but tourists also enjoy traditional culinary delights with objectives, reasons and basic argumentative factors. Relics of tradition and culture are still preserved today, including: Pujawali ceremony, ngelungsur tirtha tradition, and sacred bathing tradition. Tourism communication occurs in the form of communication: intrapersonal, interpersonal, group and mass. The impacts of tourism communication include: introducing Suranadi cultural; growing tourist interest in coming to Suranadi Village; guarantee the development of sustainable tourism, as well as the preservation of traditions and culture of Suranadi village. Based on observations, literature studies, and interviews with a number of residents, traders, and temple managers, the findings confirm that tourism communication can support the development of Suranadi as a cultural tourism village.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize the ability of students to be ready to face the demands of communication in the contemporary era. The research location is on the campus of the Institut Agama Hindu Negeri Gde Pudja Mataram. This research is designed in qualitative descriptive, using Constructivism theory and Public Communication theory. The results showed that the learning dynamics describe a dynamic, learner-centered process, and focus on deep understanding so that students become active, critical, and independent, while understanding that learning is not only about accumulating facts, but also about meaningful knowledge construction. Communication ethics plays an important role in building individuals as presenters based on moral norms and principles that govern how to speak, listen, and interact with others. Through the practice of public speaking as an optimization of proficiency in communication helps students become presenters by developing speaking skills, overcoming stage anxiety, understanding the audience, and stimulating creativity in communication. Good self-expression makes the host more skillful and effective so as to create a connection with the audience, make communication more interesting, and express commitment to the message conveyed.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the marketing communication approach strategy via social media TikTok Hicolleagues, which aims to increase Brand Engagement. The method used is descriptif qualitatif with model The Circular Model of Some, a method that integrates user interaction, content analysis, and the influence of communication strategies on Brand Engagement. Data was collected through observation and FGD with five participants.The research results show that interactive and creative content strategies, such as challenges, collaborative videos, use of the latest trends, and quick responses to comments and active participation in interactions are successful in attracting audience attention and increasing Brand Engagement. Implementation of The Circular Model of Some' enables in-depth and comprehensive analysis of the effectiveness of HiColleagues' digital marketing communications strategy.
