Abstract

Counseling communication in the Dharma Wacana and Dharma Tula programs is an educational program for Hindus in internalizing Hindu religious teachings that are sourced from the Vedic Scriptures. Dharma discourse is one of the communication tools for Hindus in conveying Vedic teachings to direct and solve all Hindu problems so that it becomes an effective Hindu counseling communication model. This study describes the process of counseling communication in the Dharma Wacana and Dharma Tula programs in Dusun Ngis, Narmada District. This type of qualitative descriptive research uses the expose facto method. The concept of dharma wacana and dharma tula as tools for education and to Hindus in Indonesia in the form of Hindu religious speeches in the Guidance and counseling program is a personal, interpersonal, and group approach. The program of dharma wacana and dharma tula in guidance and counseling-based communication methods does not only help individuals or groups of Hindus solve life problems, but its main purpose is to change religious thought patterns and behavior and strengthen the spiritual-religious dimension of Hindus. The value messages of Hindu teachings originating from the Wedas are implemented in religious life which is conveyed in the Dharma Wacana Program based on Guidance and Counseling in Ngis Hamlet, Narmada District, which is the object of study in this study. The author found that it is not uncommon for the resource person to provide answers to the listener's questions by using the counseling communication model in the Dharma Wacana and Dharma Tula programs. The communication model referred to mainly in the use of spoken language as a communication tool with a counseling character. This is because the activities of dharma discourse in which the use of spoken language is a determinant of the effectiveness of answering a problem presented by the listener.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the potential of Buwun Sejati tourism village in an effort to brand tourism villages to attract tourist visits. Buwun Sejati Village besides having beautiful natural potential also has its own potential, namely the life of the Buwun Sejati village community which is thick with the value of tolerance even though they live side by side with religious and cultural differences. The potential value of tolerance in Buwun Sejati village life was then written by the online media Mandalika Post in a news story. The focus of the research is to find out the branding of the Buwun Sejati tourist village as a tolerance tourism village through the Mandalika Post online media coverage. This study was designed in a qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that in carrying out a branding of Buwun Sejati tourism village as a tolerance tourism village, it was actually quite unique compared to other tourist village branding. The residents of Buwun Sejati village do not need to make major changes in community life in their village, in an effort to attract tourist visits. because the life of the people who live side by side in the midst of religious, ethnic and cultural differences, it becomes the potential advantage of the village to become a tourist attraction, but what needs to be done is to inform the potential of Buwun Sejati village as a tourism village of tolerance to the wider audience so that the existence and unique attraction of Buwun village Indeed, it is known by the wider community so that it can attract tourist visits. The branding of the Buwun Sejati tourist village as a tolerance tourism village was carried out by Mandalika Post in an online news story. In an effort to branding news writing using a 5 W + 1 H writing structure, namely What, What, Where, When, Why, and How. The structure of the news writing is done so that the wider community or readers can obtain clear information about the tolerance tourism village of Buwun Sejati. Abstract

Community Service Activities carried out by the Cultural and Religious Tourism Study Program in 2021 in Karang Kubu Hamlet, Bilebante Village, Pringgarata District, Central Lombok Regency, NTB Province. This hamlet was chosen as the location of the dedication because it has the potential for local wisdom, especially for the younger generation of Hindus, besides that Bilebante village is a tourist village that has beautiful natural charm. The methods used in this service are lectures, discussions and also practices which are carried out for five days from morning to evening. As for the results of the coaching, namely the practice of praying together between the temple implementing team and community members, especially the younger generation of Hindus. Furthermore, there is development of regional dances, namely Balinese dance, yoga coaching, public speaking for dharma discourse and also master of ceremonies, and also creation of promotional video content for the Bilebante tourist village by exploring the beauty of the village with narration using three languages, namely Balinese as a regional language, Indonesian. as the national language and English as the international language. The video content is expected to become a promotional event for the Bilebante tourist village through digital media.

Abstract

Komunikasi yang merupakan sendi dalam menjalani kehidupan manusia memiliki peranan penting, sehingga komunikasi dapat masuk ke semua bidang pengetahuan dan mampu menerapakan etika pada proses komunikasi yang dilakukan. Etika komunikasi bisnis adalah aturan yang baik dan benar dalam berkomunikasi pada dunia jual beli suatu produk. Pada penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana bentuk dan fungsi dari etika komunikasi bisnis sarati banten di Kota Mataram. Metode peneltian yang digunakan adalah kualititif deskriptif dengan Teknik pengambilan data dari observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil penelitian yang dihasilkan yaitu: Bentuk etika komunikasi bisnis sarati banten di Kota Mataram yaitu bentuk verbal dan non verbal. Bentuk verbal etika komunikasi bisnis sarati banten yaitu dalam bentuk kata-kata yang sopan dan santun dalam proses jual beli produk banten yang dijual oleh sarati banten kepada konsumen yang beragama Hindu di Kota Mataram. Bentuk kedua yaitu non verbal, etika komunikasi bisnis dalam bentuk non verbal terlihat dari kualitas banten yang diberikan sebagai produk dari proses jual beli yang dilakukan oleh sarati banten kepada konsumen yaitu umat Hindu di Kota Mataram. Fungsi Etika Komunikasi Bisnis Sarati Banten di Kota Mataram yaitu fungsi edukasi dan fungsi praktis. Fungsi edukasi dari etika komunikasi bisnis yaitu penyampaian informasi yang bersifat edukasi mengenai makna banten yang dibeli oleh konsumen di jelaskan oleh sarati banten yang hidup di dunia spiritual di lingkungan kehidupan pandita atau pinandita. Fungsi praktis etika komunikasi bisnis yaitu keberadaan sarati banten yang menyediakan segala bentuk banten untuk kegiatan upacara keagamaan hindu selaras dengan kebutuhan umat hindu untuk memenuhi kewajibannya dalam uapacara yadnya yang dilakukan.

Abstract

The IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram Cultural and Religious Tourism Study Program is located in Manggala Village, North Lombok in 2022. This community service activity aims to provide training in developing the agro-tourism village they have. Attraction Manggala Village, which is in the middle of the Pusuk forest, is an agro-tourism area that has a special place in the hearts of tourists. The agro-tourism potential developed in Manggala Village, North Lombok Regency, utilizes natural resources and typical mountain plantations to be excellent in Manggala Village to be better developed into an agro-tourism village so that the implementation of an effective communication strategy with the media and utilizes the human resources involved in it. This research was conducted to examine communication strategies in the development of agro-tourism villages in Manggala Village, North Lombok. The purpose of this research is to analyze the communication strategy process for developing agro-tourism villages in Manggala Village, North Lombok. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with an expose facto approach and uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques to collect data. The results of research conducted in the community service program Undergraduate Cultural and Religious Tourism Study Program provide counseling on human resource development materials and Agro-tourism products and training on packaging agro-tourism products through digital media by conceptualizing plantation activities and products in the form of spices, sugar palm cultivation, and bamboo as well as training on the packaging of natural and cultural tourism products where there is an important element in the communication strategy process, namely the existence of communicators, namely the community and government as the driving force in developing an agro-tourism village in Manggala Village, North Lombok. The second element is the message that is conceptualized in the form of verbal and non-verbal messages that contain ideas that are collaborated with noble values ​​that exist in the community of Manggala Village, North Lombok, for example reading materials for planting types of plants that have economic value. The third element is the media used to package messages for agro-tourism products with digital media. The fourth element is shooting prospective tourists with clear targets so that the communication strategy implemented can work effectively.

Abstract

The study was done to study the implementation of student ethics communication ethics to lecturer at Dharma Duta Department of Institute Agama Hindu Negeri Gde Pudja Mataram. The research methods used are qualitative using data collection techniques of participle, structured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques through three ways means are data reduction, data presentation, and deduction. The study used communicative action theoriesof Jurgen Habermas to dissect each formulation of problems. The result of this study is that a student's form of communication ethics to professors occurs directly and indirectly through text messages or telephone calls. Factors that influence a lack of a student's ethics of communication to a lecturer include (1) a lack of understanding of a communication ethic, (2) a closeness to a lecturer, (3) a lack of knowledge of language ethics, (4) a student's character lacking in a communication ethic, (5) a social environment. The strategy in building a quality communication ethic between teachers and students is that the first students need to realize the importance of honoring lecturer as teachers in a Hindu sense. Second, students need to know, understand, and apply rules about ordinances to contact the lecturer who has been prescribed by the campus. Third, a student's openness with a lecturer on something that can trigger discomfort while communicating.

Abstract

YouTube adalah platform yang menyaijikan berbagai video hiburan maupun video edukasi bagi anak usia dini. Dengan pendampingan dari orang tua dalam memilihkan konten video maka YouTube bisa menjadi sumber belajar bagi anak usia dini baik untuk pengetahuan umum maupun pengetahuan agama. Akun YouTube Hindu Dharma adalah salah satu akun YouTube dengan konten bermuatan agama Hindu diperuntukan bagi masyarakat dengan berbagai rentang umur  dari dewasa hingga anak usia dini. Salah satu konten yang dibagikan oleh akun YouTube Hindu Dharma dengan sasaran viewers anak usia dini yakni dengan judul Materi Agama Hindu TK/ Mengenal Tri Murti. Tujuan dari penulisan ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana analisis konten YouTube Hindu Dharma dalam mengenalkan Tri Murti bagi anak usia dini, metode yang digunakan yaitu analisi isi. Analisis konten tersebut adalah penyampaian ajaran agama Hindu melalui narasi penjelasan disertai gamb`ar mengenai konsep Tri Murti sebagai manifestasi dari Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa yang terdiri dari Dewa Brahma sebagai pencipta alam semesta, Dewa Wisnu sebagai pemelihara alam semesta, dan Dewa Siwa sebagai pelebur alam semesta. Video tersebut ditujukan pada anak usia dini khususnya yang beragama Hindu sebagai bentuk tontotan positif untuk mengedukasi dalam pelajaran agama diantara maraknya konten-konten YouTube lainnya.

Abstract

Tourism communication activity, namely conveying tourism messages in the form of tourism products in Sade Tourism Village, aims to analyze the communication process that occurs with the study of Berlo's S-M-C-R theory. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research with primary data, namely tourism activists and tourists who occur in Sade Tourism Village. This study analyzes the tourism communication process that applies the values ​​of religious moderation that occur in Sade Tourism Village, Central Lombok. The analysis used uses Berlo's S-M-C-R theory, namely there are 4 important elements in the tourism communication process, namely: the first element of the source is the sender of messages by tourism activists in Sade Tourism Village in the form of tourism products from direct or indirect communication in the form of art performances. The source or travel message sender has good communication skills and good cultural understanding. The second element is a tourist massage (message) sent in the form of non-verbal messages and verbal messages. The third element is the channel or media used in the communication process, which refers to the five senses, namely sight, hearing, taste when enjoying tourism products in the Sade tourism village. The fourth element is the receiver or recipient of tourism messages, namely tourists, tourism products are received with good communication skills by tourists and good cultural knowledge.

Abstract

Political communication in a historical context views human life as inseparable from its activities. The aim of this research is to describe the dynamics of the history of political communication in Indonesia. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The history of political communication in Indonesia starts from the Colonial Era, political communication in Indonesia was limited by the colonial government's control over media and information. Nevertheless, the nationalist movement began to use print media, such as newspapers, as a means of spreading the idea of ​​independence. History of political communication in the Era of the Struggle for Independence, political communication became crucial in forming unity and a spirit of resistance against colonialists. Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) emerged as an important communication channel in this period. In the history of political communication in the Old Orde r Era, political propaganda was the main tool in forming public opinion. Political speeches in stadiums and the use of mass media such as newspapers and radio are used to convey political messages. The history of political communication in the New Orde r, the government had complete control over the media. Suharto's speeches and emphasis on "Pancasila as the state ideology" became the dominant pattern in political communication. Television became the main tool for conveying government messages. History of political communication in the Reform Era, Indonesia experienced significant changes in political communication. Mass media developed rapidly, and freedom of expression was increasingly recognized. More open general elections and more plural political dynamics encourage an increase in the role of the media in shaping public opinion
