Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding is the feeding of breast milk only to the baby for 6 months without the addition of other foods and drinks such as formula milk, oranges, honey, tea water, except medicine, vitamins and minerals. Post partum mothers experience physical and psychological changes that can be affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Mothers who cannot adapt to the postpartum critical period can experience psychological disorders that also affect breast milk production. Health education about exclusive breastfeeding in breastfeeding mothers in Keleng village aims to increase maternal knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding so that it is hoped that mothers will be more confident in breastfeeding, reduce anxiety and can apply it to their babies. Health education was attended by 20 post partum mothers in Keleng Village. The result of this community service is the provision of health education with a media booklet to increase mothers' confidence in giving exclusive breastfeeding to their babies, so that exclusive breastfeeding can be more adequate.

Abstract

Adolescence is a transitional period marked by many changes, both anatomically, physiologically, intellectually, and emotionally as well as relationships in the social environment. These changes can affect the psychosocial development of adolescents, especially in the ability to manage conflicts that make adolescents experience stress. Some teenagers divert stress by doing habits such as smoking, consuming alcohol, overeating, using drugs, pornography to sexual deviations. The community service activity on "Management and Assistance of Youth in the Millennial Era" is one of the information media that can suppress pornography, abuse of narcotics and drugs and manage adolescent stress.

Abstract

Geologically, Indonesia is in a disaster-prone area, because Indonesia is located on three tectonic plates in the world, namely: the Indo-Australian Plate in the south, the Euro-Asian Plate in the north and the Pacific Ocean Plate in the east so that Indonesia is at high risk of experiencing earthquakes. Earthquakes can damage various infrastructure and endanger lives. One of the earthquakes that occurred in Cianjur, West Java Province resulted in many victims, especially in Kp. Cipetir, Ciwalen Village, Kec. Warungkondan who suffered minor to serious injuries because of being crushed by the ruins of the building. Update data on injured victims from the "Telapak Kaki Nusantara" Community, which has provided services for 3 weeks in the village, obtained data on a total of 234 minor injured patients, 70 seriously injured and 8 broken bones. The Sumber Waras STIKes institution as an education provider in carrying out the tridharma of higher education was moved to carry out community service activities for the Cianjur earthquake victim group by carrying out wound care activities due to the impact of the collapsed building. The aims of this community service program are provide wound care to the earthquake casualties to optimize the healing process and improve their quality of life. Wound care is a technique to prevent infection, kill or inhibit the growth of germs and bacteria that can interfere with the wound healing process. The result of this program is wound care for 6 patients with various severity wound. The follow up planning for this program is the continuity care is given to health care volunteers who remain on the site.

Abstract

An environmental problem that is currently still difficult to solve is the accumulation of waste. The amount of waste which continues to increase every time can be a serious problem because it can cause environmental damage and pollution. Plastic waste is the kind of waste that is hard to compose by microorganism so its easy to pile up and causing environmental pollution. One way to overcome this problem is to recycle plastic waste. Based on observations and interview data, the residents of Kebon Agung Village didn’t have knowledge about proper plastic waste management to reduce the amount of plastic waste. Community service team held the education program of plastic waste management and training program of making pillow from plastic waste to women residents at Kebon Agung Village. The aim of these programs are to reduce the pile of plastic waste and increasing the residents’ knowledge about plastic waste management. The result of this program is the residents of Kebon Agung Village can make a pillow from plastic waste and understand the proper plastic waste management. The residents of Kebon Agung Village also experience behavior changes which is no more littering and already have the awareness to do proper plastic waste management.

Abstract

Hypertension has become a public health problem and will become a bigger problem if it is not treated early. Management of hypertension can be done with pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapy. Several complementary treatments have been found to help lower blood pressure, one of which is progressive muscle relaxation. Efforts to change a continuous maintenance behavior one of which is by providing health education. Community service activities in the form of health education and improving hypertension control skills with progressive muscle relaxation. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of the elderly in controlling hypertension with progressive muscle relaxation. The method used in this community service is health education about controlling hypertension with progressive muscle relaxation and demonstrations of progressive muscle relaxation. The target in this activity is the elderly Posyandu participants in Kalipomahan Hamlet, Kalikudi Village, totaling 22 people. The results of the activity are an increase in the knowledge and skills of the elderly in controlling hypertension with progressive muscle relaxation.

Abstract

Garbage or fabric waste is an environmental problem that is no less serious than plastic waste. Fabric waste is a type of inorganic waste that is difficult to decompose and cannot be composted, but if burned it can produce smoke and toxic gases which are harmful to the environment. Garbage or waste in the form of used fabric or towels can be further processed through a process that turns the used materials into useful items such as pots. Bangunrejo Villager participation in fabric waste management remain low and they don’t have knowledge about proper fabric waste management. Therefore, a community service team from Environmental health major of Poltekkes Yogyakarta initiated the program of fabric waste management education and pot making from fabric waste. This activity aims to minimize the problem of fabric waste and increase community knowledge about fabric waste management. The activity began with socialization, namely discussions and lectures related to the purpose and benefits of pot-making activities, then the activities continued with demonstrations and hands-on practice of making pots with used cloth and painting pots. This activity was followed well and enthusiastically by the participants, this can be seen in the reactions of the participants who actively asked. Through this pot-making activity, it is hoped that the people of Bangunrejo Village can protect the environment by utilizing or recycling household waste or waste into useful products.

Abstract

The last DHF case in Wadas Village, Tridadi, Sleman, Special Region of Yogyakarta occurred in 2021, to prevent cases in subsequent years, it is necessary to do various programs such as the making of Larvitrap. Counseling and practice of making Larvitrap aims to increase the knowledge and ability of the community in eradicating the Aedes aegypty mosquito as the vector that causes DHF. This activity was carried out using several methods, namely counseling, question and answer, and the practice of making Larvitrap together. Before making Larvitrap, it was preceded by counseling on the meaning of DHF, symptoms of DHF, prevention of DHF with environmental sanitation, and methods for making simple Larvitrap appropriate technology. The enthusiasm of participants is reflected in their efforts when carrying out the making of Larvitrap and many questions that arise such as the method or working principle of the Larvitrap that causes mosquitoes to get trapped in it. Through the making of Larvitrap, it is hoped that the community in Wadas Village can participate in supporting the Tanggap Bocah (TABO) and become a form of plastic bottle waste processing activity into simple appropriate technology.

Abstract

Pemberian ASI sangat penting diberikan karena kandungan nutrisi yang sangat di butuhkan untuk tumbuh kembang yang optimal. Keuntungan dari menyusui dapat memberikan kekebalan alami pada neonatus dan juga melindungi sepanjang masa anak-anak Pemberian ASI eksklusif bukan hanya semata didasarkan pada pertimbangan bahwa ASI adalah makanan terbaik bagi bayi, akan tetapi juga menjadi bagian integral dari proses reproduksi yang memiliki implikasi penting bagi kesehatan ibu yang menyusui. Metode kegiatan yang dilaksanakan, yaitu pendampingan dan pelatihan dalam manajemen laktasi, yang mana peserta dari kegiatan ini adalah ibu-ibu postpartum yang usia 24 tahun – 35 tahun baik ibu primigravida ataupun primipara yang bayinya masih perlu perawatan di ruang peristi bayi RSUD Sidoarjo, kegiatan ini dilakukan selama 2 hari pada tanggal 15-16 Februari 2023. Hasil menunjukkn bahwa pengetahuan pada ibu postpartum sangatlah berbeda antara ibu primigravida dan primipara mengenai manajemen laktasi, Usia pada ibu postpartum tidak bisa menjadi tolak ukur pengetahuan manajemen laktasi, Motivasi bagi ibu postpartum menjadi pengaruh ibu untuk memproduksi ASI, Keberhasilan ibu postpartum dalam pemberian ASI sangat bergantung pada motivasi ibu. Kesimpulan bahwa pendampingan dan pelatihan dalam manajemen laktasi efektif untuk ibu postpartum baik ibu primigravida dan ibu primipara. Kata Kunci: Manajemen Laktasi, ASI Eksklusif, Ibu Postpartum

Abstract

Background: High risk pregnancy (HRP) is a pregnancy where the pregnant mother and fetus are at higher risk of illness or death during pregnancy, labor and after delivery. One of the efforts that can be made to prevent complications due to high-risk pregnancies is to do prenatal yoga. This community service program is aimed to improve comfort level of the women with HRP through prenatal yoga. Methods: The community service activity begins with the preparation stage, followed by implementation of prenatal yoga, and evaluation. The implementation of prenatal yoga was carried out for 60 minutes accompanied by instrumental music and was attended by 7 pregnant women in the second and third trimesters. Results: During prenatal yoga practice sessions, the participants can follow the yoga postures of the instructor. After practicing yoga, the mothers said that they felt more comfortable and relax. Conclusion: Prenatal yoga improves the pregnant women’s comfort and is safe to do for high-risk pregnant women. Continuous program is needed to facilitate pregnant women to attend prenatal yoga classes regularly. Also, further research is needed to study the effects of prenatal yoga in high-risk pregnancies.

Abstract

Latar belakang :Pembangunan kesehatan merupakan investasi meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia sesuai dengan Undang-Undang. Penyelenggaraan Program Indonesia Sehat dengan Pendekatan Keluarga bertujuan meningkatkan akses keluarga terhadap pelayanan komprehensif. Pendekatan keluarga merupakan perluasan upaya Perawatan Kesehatan Masyarakat (Perkesmas) (Nurullya Rachma, dll, 2019). 78,8% perawat masih  melaksanakan tugas administrativ, belum dapat menjalankan pengelolaan asuhan keperawatan keluarga dalam program perkesmas secara optimal (Amperaningsih Yuliati dan Agustanti Dwi. 2013). DKK Cilacap bersama DPD PPNI Kabupaten Cilacap telah menerbitkan ‘Buku Panduan Program Perkesmas Komite Keperawatan Komunitas & DPD PPNI Kabupaten Cilacap’ untuk mendukung ini lebih mudah oleh programer perkesmas, namun ternyata paper based masih merepotkan, maka aplikasi ini dikembangkan. Penulis termasuk salah satu penulis buku tersebut. Seirama era Digitalisasi transformasi mengenai teknologi menyediakan data digital yang dapat diakses oleh tenaga kesehatan maupun pasien sehingga segala kebutuhan berjalan cepat, mudah, dapat dijangkau dimana saja dan kapan saja dengan hasil yang lebih baik (dnr corporation, 2021). Aplikasi ini disusun oleh tim penyusuan ‘siappak’ (sistem informasi pengelolaan program perkesmas) Tujuan : Memberikan arah harmonisasi buku dalam aplikasi siappak. Metode : Penulis menjelaskan isi buku untuk ditampilkan dalam web, dilanjutkan diskusi. Hasil : gambaran umum tampilan web. Dampak: Tim penyusun memahami dan mampu mengkombinasikan isi buku dalam aplikasi.
