Vapor absorption refrigeration system (VARS) is one of the emerging technology in thermal-driven refrigeration systems and has too many benefits in comparison with another cooling system as their performance is good and the cost is low. Different mathematical models of various complexities have been developed for performance analysis, optimization, and design of such systems. In this study energy and exergy of a single effect LiBr vapor absorption refrigeration system is analyzed with different mathematical model developed so far. The effect of varying the temperature for each component of the system on the coefficient of performance (COP) and exergetic efficiency (COPex) is briefly discussed. The results show that increasing generator temperature from 86oc to 102oc for constant refrigerant mass flow rate causes COP of the system to increase, due to the decrease in circulation ratio. In another case, increasing the evaporator temperature from 2oc to 14oc for a constant temperature input of the generator has a positive effect on both the first and second law efficiency of the VARS as the load on the generator decrease. From the result, it can also be concluded that increasing absorber temperature has a negative impact on both COP and exergetic efficiency of VARS.

Electromyography (EMG) is a signal produced by human muscles when they contract or relax. This signal is widely used as a controller, for example, to control a robotic arm. This study aims to identify the pattern of finger movement in the form of finger movement using a bracelet-shaped device that has eight EMG sensors. This tool is placed on the lower right hand of a subject to get a signal from the EMG. This study uses the support vector machine (SVM) algorithm combined with the particle swarm optimization (PSO) method. For pattern recognition, the properties of the signal in the time domain are used. From this system, the success of pattern recognition is between 68% to 86%.

Railway bridge Bangunan Hikmah (BH 39) Pariaman (Padang– Pariaman Route) is a new bridge. This new bridge was built because the old one could not accommodate the load of the additional locomotive. The railway bridge consists of two parts: the upper structure and the substructure. The substructure consists of abutments and foundations. When the abutment accepts considerable lateral ground pressure, so the stability of the abutment will be disturbed. To resolve the problem, the need exists to study abutment reinforcement with geotextile or additional foundation pile to raise the stability abutments on the Railway bridge Bangunan Hikmah (BH 39) Pariaman. The result of the loading on the upper structure is obtained. The total vertical force acting on the abutment is 6111,624 kN, and the horizontal load is 2849,689 kN. Abutment stability analysis is carried out in 3 stages (without reinforcement, with reinforcement geotextiles, and with existence foundation pile (bored pile). The results of the analysis show value safety factor minimum without Reinforcement (SF) is 1,29; this shows that the abutment is unstable because the safety factor obtained is < 1.5,  with reinforcement geotextile, the value of the safety factor minimum  (SF) is 1,66,  this indicates that the abutment is stable but still critical and the value of the safety factor (SF) minimum with bored pile foundations is 2,10.  Installation of a bored pile foundation (pile group) at a depth of 10m shows a significant increase in the value of the safety factor. In the BH 39 Kurai Taji Pariaman railway bridge project, it is recommended to use a pile group foundation with a depth of 10 m.

Bismuth Ferrite (BiFeO3) is a single phase Fe- based multiferroic having Perovskite structure. It shows both ferroelectric and ferromagnetism simultaneously in the single material. But the magnetic order is very low due to complex antiferromagnetic order yielding small remnant magnetization. However, Magnetic property could be improved if BiFeO3 mixed with Ba5PrTi3V7O30 having TB-structure. Solid Solution (1-x)Ba5PrTi3V7O30-xBiFeO3 is prepared by using Solid State Reaction technique for different values of x. Pellets are calcined at 750  then sintered at 800 . Basic Crystal qualities and formation of single phase compound is confirmed by the XRD (X-Ray Diffractogram). The crystal structure is more or less constant i.e. Orthorhombic.  However, further increase in x changes the crystal structure. For x= 0.7 the system is Rhombohedral in structure. Grain morphology is being analysed by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM: JOEL-IT300).Surface morphology shows that average grain size range from around 0.75 µm to 2.10 µm. Average grain size is maximum for x = 0.3 and minimum for x=0 (i.e. pure ferroelectric material). Magnetic measurement is done at a wide low temperature range (10-350K) by Physical Property Measurement System (PPMS: Quantum Design, San Diego, USA) Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM). Hysteresis (M-H) loops are measured at room temperature (300K).It shows that the magnetization changes when the value of x changes. Remanence is maximum for x=0.3 and Coercivity is maximum for x=0.7. The material could be suitable to fabricate non volatile magnetic storage memory device.

EFL pronunciation learning is known to be teacher-centered, in which students are reliant on the feedback given by their teachers. Fortunately, the presence of technology-based learning tools is believed to be able to reduce students' dependency on teachers. A built-in Automatic Speech Recognition technology (ASR): ELSA Speak is a mobile-based application that could help students with pronunciation learning by providing prompt feedback and detailed evaluation of its users' pronunciation accuracy. The objective of this study was to examine the use of the mobile-based application, ELSA, in pronunciation learning and whether it could stimulate learners to become more autonomous. A mix-method approach was employed in this study. The quantitative data, in the forms of pre-test and post-test, was gathered through students' pronunciation recordings available in ELSA. This data was analyzed using the paired sample t-test. In addition, a Google Form questionnaire, in five-point Likert Scale, was used to support the quantitative findings. Meanwhile, a semi-structured interview with selected participants served as the qualitative one. These data were analyzed thematically based on the participants' responses. The result shows that incorporating mobile-based technology into English pronunciation learning could provide an opportunity for students to improve their pronunciation. Moreover, students could also broaden their repertoire of available practice strategies that might be useful to improve their autonomous learning ability.

Prediction of foreign exchange rates is one of the time series problems that have fluctuating value movements. There are several algorithms that can make predictive models for this problem, one of which is Support Vector Regression (SVR). In this study, foreign exchange rate predictions were made using Hybrid SVR and Black Widow Optimization (BWO). This is done with the aim of improving the performance of the SVR in order to produce a better predictive model for the EUR/USD foreign exchange rate data in 2020. The results of the proposed algorithm get better performance in terms of R2, MSE, RMSE, MAE, and MAPE compared to SVR.

The Geographic Information System for Public Facilities is a system that makes it easier for the public to search and find locations. The more people use this system, the more problems will arise. Because people still use the manual method, namely by asking about the location of public facilities in the surrounding community. This is very ineffective and accurate. Therefore, a public facility information system was built using CI 3, Java, and PHP in the form of android. The method used in this development system is the waterfall method. With this GIS, the public can search for the location of public facilities, find public facilities, and provide a route to the location using the Tracking process to find out where the current position is.

Automotive exterior spare parts retailers frequently sell exterior spare parts for a range of cars via direct sales transactions and online media. A major issue has come up for consumers who purchase products online must install spare parts independently, with limited instructions that make it difficult for customers to install the replacement components. This is demonstrated by nearly 50% of online consumers complaining to the seller about installation errors, indicating the need for a solution to these issues. Augmented reality was used as a solution to educate how to install automotive exterior spare parts. In this work, the Spatial Tracking technology is utilized to project objects from a viewpoint in order to send data digitally and show the 3D model to the object's surrounds in real time. This study included as samples rear-view mirrors, headlights, stop lamps, and fog lamps. According to the study's findings, The user acceptance test was carried out by online consumers who buy spare parts at the store, and the results of the average percentage score of the entire questionnaire by more than 53% agree and strongly agree that the use of augmented reality can ease the spare-part installation bought online, the results of testing the AVAR application by the user are successful and well accepted.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is developing as a substantial tool in information technology. It can potentially enhance the efficiency and convenience of human life. This proposal presents a review of recent experimental studies that suggested applications of the Internet of Things (IoT) on consumer behaviour and decision-making processes. The studies have done review research in the domain of the IoT to measure or observe the consumer decision-making process. I believe there are still research gaps in this field. Several studies can present an understanding of the possible applications of IoT in marketing to sense potential consumer purchasing behavior and components of the decision-making process in detail.
