Abstract

This study aims to analyze the maintenance strategy of the HP DesignJet Z6810 machine at PT XYZ using the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) method to improve machine reliability and reduce downtime. The study was conducted through field observations, interviews, and analysis of historical damage data. The methods used include identification of critical components, analysis of Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and calculation of reliability indicators in the form of Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), and Availability. The results of the study indicate that Flex Cable Data and Flex Cable Print Head are the most critical components with Risk Priority Number (RPN) values of 378 and 240, respectively. The initial condition of the machine has an MTBF value of 1,233 hours, MTTR of 38.25 hours, and Availability of 96.99%. The implementation of the RCM strategy through time-based preventive maintenance on critical components and Condition-Based maintenance on supporting components is projected to increase MTBF to 3,275 hours, reduce MTTR to 10 hours, and increase Availability to 99.69%. The results of the study show that the implementation of RCM can improve machine reliability, reduce the frequency of breakdowns, and support the smooth running of the production process at PT XYZ.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) at Coffee Shop X using the Green Supply Chain Operations Reference (Green SCOR) approach supported by Likert-scale Key Performance Indicator (KPI) measurements. The study used a quantitative descriptive method enriched with qualitative data through observation, interviews, literature studies, and questionnaires distributed to seven respondents involved in supply chain activities. A total of 23 KPI indicators were compiled based on the five Green SCOR processes, namely Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, and Return. The results showed that the implementation of GSCM at Coffee Shop X obtained an overall average score of 4.29, which is included in the very good category. The Make process was the aspect with the highest performance due to the implementation of consistent production standards and the reuse of coffee grounds as fertilizer. Meanwhile, the Return process received the lowest score and still requires improvement, especially in a more structured waste management system. Several recommendations resulted include optimizing inventory control, determining safety stock, reducing the use of single-use plastics, and strengthening the waste management system to support more sustainable operations.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the food industry play a vital role in the national economy, but their production sustainability still faces various challenges, particularly in managing the raw material supply chain. This study aims to identify key challenges in the raw material supply chain, analyze the optimization strategies implemented, and assess their impact on production sustainability in MSMEs in the food industry. The study used the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with the stages of identification, selection, quality assessment, and synthesis of articles obtained through Google Scholar. Based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria, and quality assessment, eight articles were obtained that met the requirements for analysis. The results showed that the main challenges include supply uncertainty, price fluctuations, inconsistent raw material quality, limited inventory control, and dependence on certain suppliers. Optimization strategies that are widely applied include the implementation of Supply Chain Management (SCM), the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, Safety Stock, Reorder Point (ROP), First in First Out (FIFO), strengthening supplier relationships, and risk management. The implementation of these strategies can improve operational efficiency, maintain raw material availability, reduce the risk of production disruptions, minimize waste, and support the sustainability of MSME production in the food industry.

Abstract

Port fleet operations play a crucial role in ensuring smooth logistics distribution, but are vulnerable to various risks that can disrupt supply chain performance. This study aims to analyze the performance and risks of PT Berkah Jaya's port fleet operations using an integration of the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) and House of Risk (HOR) models. The study employed a quantitative descriptive approach with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The SCOR model was used to map business processes into five main processes: Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, and Return, while the HOR method was used to identify risk events and risk agents, prioritize risks based on the Aggregate Risk Potential (ARP) value, and formulate mitigation strategies through the Effectiveness to Difficulty Ratio (ETD). The results showed that PT Berkah Jaya's supply chain processes had been systematically mapped and successfully identified 27 risk events and 29 risk agents that could potentially disrupt operations. Pareto analysis showed that most potential risks stemmed from a number of priority risk agents, such as ship delays, fleet damage, document delays, and weather conditions. Recommended mitigation strategies include preventive maintenance, administrative digitization, operational scheduling optimization, improved coordination, and strengthened occupational safety implementation. The integration of SCOR and HOR has proven to be an effective approach to improving the performance and risk management of port fleet operational supply chains.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of officer handling, delivery accuracy, tracking system, facility security, and delivery guarantee on the security of goods during the transit process on JNE expedition services in Purwakarta Regency. The method used is empirical quantitative with a positivistic paradigm, where a sample of 96 respondents was selected through a purposive sampling technique and the data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) through SmartPLS 4 software. The results of the analysis and discussion show an R-Square value of 0.503, indicating that the five independent variables simultaneously are able to explain 50.3% of the variation in goods security. Partially, only the delivery guarantee variable has a positive and significant effect (P = 0.012), while officer handling (P = 0.060), delivery accuracy (P = 0.649), tracking system (P = 0.170), and facility security (P = 0.409) do not have a significant effect. The research conclusion confirms the certainty of financial protection as the most important factor, so it is recommended that JNE Purwakarta management restructure resource priorities to simplify the insurance claim process and educate about the transparency of goods protection while maintaining warehouse operational standardization. The theoretical implications prove the separation of consumer perceptions that tracking technology and physical facilities are now only mandatory standards (must-have), while the practical implications show that legal and financial guarantees are the main triggers for customer security as well as driving the company's internal commitment to tighten operational controls.

Abstract

The effectiveness of inventory control is an important factor in supporting retail logistics operations. However, inventory management still faces various obstacles, such as storage systems that are not yet standardized, inconsistent implementation of stock rotation, and the discovery of expired products. This research aims to analyze the implementation of rack labeling, First In First Out (FIFO) and First Expired First Out (FEFO) methods in increasing the effectiveness of inventory control at KPDK Mart, Ministry of Cooperatives of the Republic of Indonesia. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was obtained through field observations, documentation, and discussions with managers, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the rack labeling system increases inventory visibility through more structured identification of storage locations, thereby supporting the process of searching, placing and monitoring goods. Meanwhile, evaluation of the implementation of FIFO and FEFO shows that stock rotation and shelf life monitoring have not been running consistently, as indicated by the discovery of expired products in the display area. This research concludes that the integration of rack labeling, FIFO, and FEFO contributes to increasing the effectiveness of inventory control through increasing storage regularity, controlling stock rotation, and reducing the risk of expired products. These findings can be a reference for retail managers, especially retail cooperatives and small and medium scale retail businesses, in improving the quality of inventory management.

Abstract

Hangtag inventory is an important component in the product packaging process at PT X. The problem faced by the company is the occurrence of hangtag stockouts due to the lack of accurate inventory planning, which hampers the product delivery process. This study aims to analyze hangtag demand patterns, determine the forecasting method with the best level of accuracy, and apply the Min-Max Stock method to optimize inventory control. The study uses a quantitative approach with historical data on hangtag demand for the period January 2024–March 2026 obtained through observation, interviews, documentation, and company data. The forecasting methods used include Single Moving Average (SMA), Single Exponential Smoothing (SES), and Weighted Moving Average (WMA). Forecasting accuracy is evaluated using MAD, MSE, and MAPE. The results show that the hangtag demand pattern is horizontal (stationary). The Weighted Moving Average (WMA) method for period 3 produces the smallest error rate with a MAPE value of 17.403%, so it is chosen as the basis for implementing the Min-Max Stock method. The calculation yielded a safety stock of 285.86 units, a minimum stock of 1,158 units, a maximum stock of 2,031 units, and a reorder point (ROP) of 873 units. Implementing this method can help companies optimize inventory control and minimize the risk of stockouts and overstocks.
