Abstract

This empirical study aims to examine the impact of ChatGPT AI on various business sectors, evaluating its benefits and challenges. Specifically, the study analyzes how ChatGPT AI is transforming business operations and enhancing customer experience in customer service, e-commerce, healthcare, finance, marketing, and developer business sectors. Using a comprehensive literature review approach, this study draws on relevant academic articles to identify and analyze the key applications of AI in the business sector, the benefits realized, and the challenges faced in adopting this technology. The study explores the implications of ChatGPT AI for businesses, including its potential to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance competitiveness. Additionally, ethical and legal considerations surrounding the use of ChatGPT AI in business operations are evaluated, including issues related to data privacy, bias, and transparency. The study provides insights into future directions for the application of ChatGPT AI in business and the potential impact of this technology on various business sectors. The objective is to provide a comprehensive review of the impact of ChatGPT AI on businesses, its potential benefits, and challenges for businesses looking to adopt this technology. Overall, this study highlights the importance of considering both the benefits and limitations of AI adoption in businesses, as well as the ethical and legal implications of its use.

Abstract

Petrol station company usually is classified as a trading company to sell fuel to customers. The service quality variable is as important as the goods (fuel) trading. The company should serve customer's needs and wants in the petrol station business as a comprehensive trading and service operation. That is why the writer tries to research service quality and marketing mix influence related to customer satisfaction in a Pertamina petrol station but will be viewed by gender perspective, how they are treated and valued by female and male customers.The research area is in Pertamina petrol station in Riau province. This study aims to see the significance level of influence of service quality and marketing mix variables related to customer satisfaction in  Pertamina Petrol Station and different levels of customer satisfaction by gender perspective in Riau province. The sample of this study was petrol station customers at Riau province, with as many as 200 respondents with probability sampling methods.Data were processed using structural equation modeling (SEM) statistic Smart PLS. The findings revealed that there was a positive influence of service quality on customer satisfaction. There was a positive influence of the marketing mix on customer satisfaction. The significance level of customer satisfaction difference by gender showed that the level of satisfaction of male customers (3.89) was higher than female customers (3.77). Therefore, excellent service quality and a better marketing mix are essential in the petrol station business at  Pertamina petrol station for increasing customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This research identified the strategies that enable small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to leverage social media in engaging Generation Z consumers. Understanding how SMEs utilize social media and implement best practices is crucial for fostering business-to-consumer relationships.The study assessed the level of utilization of social media marketing, specifically electronic word-ofmouth (eWOM), trust, and the level of purchasing decision factors (awareness, interest, desire, and action) among Generation Z consumers in Los Baños, Laguna. The findings reveal that social media marketing, particularly eWOM, was fully utilized by Generation Z consumers in Los Baños, Laguna, indicating its significance in influencing their purchasing decisions. This research used a quantitative research design with a total of 380 respondents of Generation Z residing in Los Baños, Laguna. The instrument used was an adopted survey-questionnaire that is already validated by the previous researcher and to be improved and validated by the adviser. Overall, this research provides valuable insights into the relationship between social media marketing and Generation Z consumers' purchasing decisions. Understanding and leveraging these insights can help businesses effectively engage with this influential consumer segment and drive business growth in the digital age

Abstract

Public transportation is vital for addressing urban mobility challenges and reducing traffic congestion. To improve public transportation systems and encourage usage, understanding commuter behavior, attitudes, and preferences is crucial. This research aims to identify commuter segments based on demography, attitude, and behavior, and determine their future intentions towards public transportation. Data was collected from 257 respondents residing in the Greater Jakarta area, encompassing Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi, through an online survey. Segmentation was achieved using factor analysis and cluster analysis. The analysis identified three distinct commuter segments with varying behavior, attitude, and perception towards public transportation. The first group, Affluent Men, preferred private vehicles but expressed environmental concern and openness to adopting new technology. They showed eagerness to utilize high-quality public transportation services like the MRT. The second group, Millennial "Rokers," primarily relied on public transportation, seeking convenience, shorter travel durations, and reduced risk. The final group, "Easy Going and Active Women," had no specific preference for public or private transportation as long as they could reach their destinations quickly. However, they had significant health concerns, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Surprisingly, all three segments demonstrated similar future intentions towards public transportation usage post-pandemic, posing governance challenges in promoting public transportation and integrating transport systems in Jabodetabek. This paper contributes by integrating behavior, demography, and attitudes to build the segmentation, examining their reactions to the pandemic and intentions towards public transportation. The findings have implications for policymakers and practitioners, requiring tailored policies and interventions for different segments.

Abstract

Effective data analysis reflects an improved approach to data collection, cleaning, and screening. However, very few studies reported information on the techniques used in cleaning and screening their collected data, leading to questionable final results and interpretations, especially among university students. To address this issue, the current study examines the rigorous data collection, cleaning and screening processes for data normalization among university students in Nigeria. Using a multi-stage research methodology, 367 adapted survey instrument items were administered using Snowballing. Finally, 365 were retrieved from the respondents. Missing data were all replaced using the Series Mean (SMEAN), and outliers were appropriately addressed through z-score values and chi-square criteria. Descriptive statistical measures were used to examine the dataset and presented in several tables, a histogram, a scatterplot and a normal probability plot. The collected, cleaned, and screened data were found to have a normal distribution, helping analyze and understand the parametric data distribution, variation, and normalization. The findings provide valuable information for university students, academics, policymakers, and practitioners to adopt during data collection, cleaning and screening exercises. It was recommended that university students, lecturers, researchers, and research institutions prioritize thorough data collection, embrace transparent data cleaning, screening and reporting practices, and adopt standardized procedures to enhance data accuracy, reliability, and normalization for better data analysis and interpretation of research findings.

Abstract

In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the growth of startups, particularly in developing nations. There are numerous opportunities for startups to innovate as a result of the rapid growth of technology, which can be utilized to better the lives of a great number of people in a variety of fields. Pioneering startups must place a significant emphasis on investment as it is a critical determinant in sustaining business growth and innovation. A multitude of organizations are compelled to cease operations and innovation as a result of insufficient financial resources. Often, venture capital (VC) firms or angel investors provide financial support to startups. Each year, a venture capitalist may assess thousands of funding proposals from startups. It signifies that venture capital entry is competitive for each startup. The many factors that influence a venture capitalist's decision to invest in a startup have been the subject of numerous studies. This study employs a multiple linear regression model to examine the influence of human capital, social media, the business sector, and entrepreneur gender on funding for advanced-stage startups in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effect of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law on small food businesses, specifically franchises and food stalls, in Cabugao, Ilocos Sur. The study focuses on businesses that have been in operation for at least five years, as their longer existence allows for a comprehensive understanding of the effects of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law on their operations. Questionnaires were constructed by the researchers to determine the level of operating performance and for the level of effectiveness of Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law. The majority of respondents, aged 40-49, are college graduates and have attended 1-3 seminars. Most small business owners have been in operation for over or equal to 10 years and hired 1-3 employees, usually family members. The study found that small business owners do not believe the tax reform has a positive impact on income generation, and the increase in purchasing power has not significantly impacted their business. However, businesses use incentives to optimize their income and have lower personal income tax rates. The increase in operating costs does not lead to cost-saving measures, and marketing expenses do not contribute to profitability. Lastly, in 2018 and 2019, small business owners reported sales above P300,000 and had expenses below P50,000. Over the subsequent years, the pattern varies. Notably, in 2020 and 2021, small business owners reported sales below P50,000 and expenses also below P50,000. In 2022, reported sales between P50,000 and P100,000 and the expenses are below P50,000. Hence, the operating performance of the business encountered no effect on the implementation of Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law.
