Abstract

Parking is basically a way to arrange vehicles according to the available places or areas. At a time when people used vehicles in large numbers, parking spaces could be found in almost all public places such as malls, offices, open park areas, development centers, and so on. When we talk about public parking, the main problem that is often faced is the lack of area of the parking lot itself, from the available parking space for two-wheeled vehicles, or land for four-wheeled vehicles. This study aims to determine the characteristics of parking and the capacity of parking needs at Kahayan Market, Palangka Raya City. From the results of the study, it can be obtained an overview of parking and the capacity of parking needs in the area so that it can provide input as evaluation material in the future for the creation of a safe and well-organized parking area. Based on the analysis, the number of Parking Space Units (SRP) in the Kahayan market, Palangka Raya City for two-wheeled vehicles is 79 parking lots and for four-wheeled vehicles 16 parking lots. For twowheeled vehicle parking index, the highest value is 25.32% 100% (parking demand can still be fulfilled) and for four-wheeled vehicles the highest is 18.75% 100% (parking demand can still be fulfilled). The highest accumulation value for two-wheeled vehicles occurred on Sunday with a total of 20 units and for four-wheeled vehicles it occurred on Wednesday with a total of 3 units. Abstract

: Garbage is something that is always there in everyday life. Everyone who is active will produce waste and so is what happened in Manuhing District, Gunung Mas Regency. The problem of this research is that the waste management process that has been carried out has not been included in the good and correct category because the management process is carried out by improper disposal and by burning. The purpose of this study was to determine the existing waste management system in Manuhing District, Gunung Mas Regency. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive observational design. Research techniques carried out by means of field surveys, focus group discussions involving participants, open interviews, and literature studies. The participants used in this study were representatives from the Environment Agency, village heads, village representative bodies. The results of the study stated that the waste management in the sub-district was still not good, this was due to the absence of land for the construction of temporary shelters, the facilities and infrastructure that were still not good, and the level of public awareness that was still low on the importance of managing waste properly and correctly. Abstract

Based on its function, a bridge is a structure that is made as an intermediary or link to cross / cross ravines or obstacles such as rivers, railroads or roads, so to connect the city of Ampah which is split by the Karau river, a bridge is needed. The object of research is a wooden bridge made by the Dutch colonial in 1929 which still stands firmly and can be used today, so to find out the method of implementation at the time of building the bridge, as well as to see the development of current implementation methods and resources, research was conducted to know the implementation method specifically for the installation of the foundation to find out the implementation technique and the equipment used. The research method used includes: (1) preliminary survey, (2) data collection and data analysis, (3) reconstruction of implementation methods, (4) delineation of reconstructed results. The results of the research study show that all stages of implementation use simple methods using simple mechanical equipment as well. In the case of the installation of the foundation, the executor takes into account the placement of the point where the foundation is laid. The soil bearing capacity is estimated in a simple way. Abstract

We often encounter traffic problems in big cities and small towns. For example, in the Capital City of Central Kalimantan Province, namely the City of Palangka Raya, the problem of traffic jams and chaos often occurs at road junctions, especially at unsignalized junctions, the JL.Rajawali - JL Antang intersection. This is influenced by several factors, namely the increasing volume of traffic and the number of motorists not obeying traffic rules. Analyzing the capacity and performance level of an unsignalized intersection, data is collected from the field, in the form of intersection geometry data, the type and number of vehicles crossing the intersection after being multiplied by the equivalent number of each vehicle, so that uniformity is obtained in the unit of passenger cars (SMP). . Then the capacity and performance level of the intersections were calculated which included the degree of saturation, and the delay of the intersections using the Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual (MKJI 1997). The results of the analysis obtained, the capacity value (C) of the intersection is 3827.16 pcu/hour, while from the three observation days, the largest value for traffic volume is 2633.20 pcu/hour on Monday at 06.30-07.30 WIB, the degree of saturation (DS) of 0.68 on Monday at 06.30-07.30 WIB, and the deviation delay of 13.45 sec/smp on Monday at 06.30-07.30 WIB. Then the capacity is obtained at the intersection of JL..Rajawali. – JL. Antang. Palangka Raya City, is still feasible to be used to accommodate traffic volume, because the intersection capacity is still greater when compared to traffic volume, because the capacity of each intersection is greater when compared to traffic volume, therefore it can be concluded that for now the JL intersection . Rajawali – JL. Antang, Palangka Raya City, still doesn't need traffic signs in the form of signals. Keywords: unsignalized intersection, performance, intersection capacity, traffic volume.

Abstract

: The highway is a land transportation infrastructure that plays a very important role very important in the transportation sector, especially for the continuity of distribution goods and services. The condition of the road that is often traversed often causes dense currents traffic so that it can cause vulnerabilities in the form of congestion and even accidents vehicles passing through the road. The number of movements on a road segment can be associated with the density of traffic flow on the road that is believed correlated with the speed of the vehicle and the volume of vehicles that occur per kilometers of roads. One of the problems that also exacerbate traffic conditions, is the problem of side friction on roads with heavy traffic flow. Obstacle Sideways is the impact on traffic performance from road segment side activities, including the lack of parking facilities in an area that will result in new parking activities, vehicles in and out of the side of the road, pedestrians and vehicles slow. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of obstacles side and road performance. Abstract

A bridge is a building built over a railroad, river or road so that people or vehicles can cross from one side to the other. Bridge buildings in general must be strong to withstand heavy vehicles passing on it, strong to withstand strong winds from the side withstand the vibrations caused by the earthquake. The pile foundation is part of the structure that is used to receive and transfer (transmit) loads from the superstructure to the supporting soil which is located at a certain depth. The pillars are long and slender which transfers the load to deeper ground. The main materials of the poles are iron and concrete.The understructure of this bridge consists of abutments and foundations, both of which have an important role in supporting the bridge structure. The planned abutment dimensions are 3.876 m high, with a pile cap width of 3.80 m and a pile cap length of 6 m. The establishment of a bridge is also due to the strong foundation that supports the bridge. The type of foundation used under the existing abutments is pile foundation with a diameter of 500 mm and a depth of ±35 m and a pile cap thickness of 1 m. Abstract

Asphalt is a binding material in flexible pavement construction which is very influential. To get good quality asphalt, it can be done by modifying the asphalt mixture with an additional material. With this planning, this study specifically aims to determine the properties of asphalt to the asphalt mixture Pertamina Penetration 60/70 with Buton Buton Asphalt Type 5/20, to test the mixture with Marshall tools and to find the optimum bitumen content. The research method starts from material testing using the SNI test method by testing the physical properties of the aggregate with a combination of mixing Pertamina Asphalt and Buton Asphalt as a binding material with the Marshall Test test method. The research was conducted at the Jalan Raya Laboratory owned by PT. Sampaga Raya on Jl. H.M. Arsyad Km. 24 Bagendang, Sampit - Central Kalimantan. Based on the results of research on the examination of the physical properties of aggregates in the form of inspection of grading, specific gravity, sand equivalent, and wear (abrasion), they have met the specifications set for the Laston Lapis Aus (AC-WC) mixed material with a mixed combination using Asphalt Pertamina Penetration 60 / 70 and the combination of Asphalt Buton Butir Type 5/20 mixture obtained the physical properties and Marshall parameters in the form of stability, flow, and Marshall quotient values which are quite good in meeting the specification standards set for the pavement layer.
