Abstract

Palangka Raya, which is a big city, does not rule out the possibility of always building facilities and infrastructure, such as the construction of the Palangka Raya City Adventist Hospital building. The implementation of OSH in construction projects plays an important role in maintaining, protecting and creating a safe, healthy and accident-free environment. In the implementation of the K3 program several related parties must always provide direction for construction workers, but besides that the level of understanding and knowledge of the workers who are very minimal can cause obstacles in implementing the K3 program. This study aims to determine the implementation of the K3 program and the obstacles in implementing it in the construction project of the Adventist Hospital Building in Palangka Raya City. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires on construction projects in Palangka Raya. With the results of distributing questionnaires in 1 construction project with a total of 6 respondents who have a role. And their respective tasks in the construction project. Data analysis was carried out at the project field location, followed by data processing using the respondent's method to determine field data. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the K3 program field respondents concluded that protecting the public by installing K3 signs inside and outside the project as well as marking the presence of heavy vehicle lanes is very important to always remind workers about the importance of work safety and urge the public to always be careful while on the road. near an ongoing construction project. As for the obstacles in implementing OSH, the field values obtained conclude that the obstacles in implementing OSH are on the workers' side, this occurs due to the lack of knowledge of workers about OSH and the demands of workers who are still on basic needs by not prioritizing their own safety. Abstract

Garbage is unwanted residual goods/material from the final product a certain process. Almost all human activities have the potential produce waste or waste, both organic waste, which is commonly called as wet waste and inorganic waste which is referred to as waste dry. The population in this study are 3 (three) Temporary Disposal Sites (TPS), namely: TPS Gang Anugerah, TPS Jalan AMD, and TPS Jalan Tjilik Riwut KM. 10 Petuk Katimpun, Jekan Raya District, Palangka Raya City. Study This method uses qualitative methods, where this method is a research used for research on the condition of natural objects. Technique data collection is done by way of interviews (interviews), observation (observation), literature study, and documentation. The data obtained in Fields are then selected and processed and presented in a relationship pattern between community participation in the Petuk Katimpun Region in management waste and solutions that are considered appropriate for waste management in the region the. The TPS volume of each TPS is the TPS Jalan Anugerah has TPS volume of 2.5 m3 ; TPS Jalan AMD has a TPS volume of 2.5 m3; and Jalan Tjilik Riwut KM.10 TPS has a TPS volume of 4.7 m3 The results of the study showed that the average volume of landfills per dayfrom each TPS, namely for TPS Jalan Anugerah, it has a volume daily average waste of 3.7 m3 ; AMD Street TPS has volume daily average waste of 3.7 m3 ; and TPS Jalan Tjilik Riwut KM.10 has an average daily waste volume of 6.5 m3 It shows that the volume of waste on average daily at each TPS is greater than than with the volume of its TPS area. That is, the TPS capacity that is currently availabl inadequate with the waste heap that is disposed of. Lack of awareness society in disposing of waste in the right place is also a factor in this garbage problem. This can be seen from the large amount of waste scattered around the polling stations. The right solution for handling this waste is by renewal of TPS in terms of size and shape as well as counseling to community about good and efficient waste management. Abstract

Retarder is an auxiliary chemical to slow down the initial setting time so that the mixture remains workable for a longer time. In general, sugar-containing raw materials can be used as retarder or water reducer sets. Granulated sugar is a material that is widely available and is expected to fulfill this. This research aims to determine the effect of sugar on concrete bonding time and the effect on concrete compressive strength. In this activity, preparations were made for the manufacture of test specimens, from preparing tools and materials such as cement, coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, water, and sugar, as well as a survey to the Laboratory to check the tools to be used for making test specimens. Testing will be carried out for 21 days, 28 days and 35 days. After all the data is obtained, data processing will be carried out to obtain research results. K-125 concrete is included in the class II category which can be used for structural works in general. From the results of this study it is known that the initial setting time is 2 hours for normal concrete (BN) and 5 hours for concrete with mixed solution. sugar (BG30). From the results of the cement setting time test it proves that the sugar solution makes the cement setting time longer (Initial Setting Time). Abstract

The government of the Regional Development Planning Agency in Palangka Raya City is planning the construction of a railway system that connects the city of Palangka Raya with Banjarmasin along 138 km. With this planning, this study specifically aims to determine what factors might later influence travelers in determining the type of mode and to find out the mode choice opportunities between trains and passenger cars. The research method starts from the literature review stage, the selected variables, data collection, variable identification, and modeling. The type of survey conducted is the Stated preference method. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the variables that significantly influence the community in choosing the mode of transportation between trains and passenger cars are the type of student work, lifestyle, income and train time. From some of these variables, it can be suggested that the opportunity to use trains will increase if the Government in this case pays attention to the travel time of trains. Abstract

Garbage is something that is always there in everyday life. Everyone who is active will produce waste and so is what happened in Manuhing District, Gunung Mas Regency. The problem of this research is that the waste management process that has been carried out has not been included in the good and correct category because the management process is carried out by improper disposal and by burning. The purpose of this study was to determine the existing waste management system in Manuhing District, Gunung Mas Regency. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive observational design. Research techniques carried out by means of field surveys, focus group discussions involving participants, open interviews, and literature studies. The participants used in this study were representatives from the Environment Agency, village heads, village representative bodies. The results of the study stated that the waste management in the sub-district was still not good, this was due to the absence of land for the construction of temporary shelters, the facilities and infrastructure that were still not good, and the level of public awareness that was still low on the importance of managing waste properly and correctly. Abstract

Palangka Raya is a city that is developing and has the potential for population density, besides that it has the potential in the fields of education and government so that it attracts people from outside the region to come to the city. This will have an impact on traffic flow, especially on roads that have intersections. Especially at the intersection on the road Rajawali - Badak, a traffic light plan was held to be used as a final project research. Installation of traffic lights on intersection roads serves to facilitate orderly and safe traffic movement so as to increase road capacity at intersections, reduce the frequency of various types of accidents and cut off high traffic flows to allow for the spread of vehicles or pedestrians. To plan the traffic lights we use calculations with the Webster method. The calculations performed only determine the cycle time. The results obtained from the traffic light planning at the intersection of the Rajawali - Badak road are that the cycle times are obtained faster so that the queue of vehicles that stop at the intersection is not too long and does not cause congestion. Abstract

Transportation needs will continue to increase with development urban area. If the need for transportation facilities is not matched with infrastructure (road network) then transportation problems arise. This condition occurs on the Road section at the Intersection around the Small Roundabout of the City of Palangka Raya, where the amount of volume is not balanced with the capacity of roads and intersections so that the accumulation of traffic flows and create very long queues causing traffic jams during rush hour.To support this study, a sample of traffic volume is needed, and queue with a field survey on existing conditions which was carried out on 3 the day starts on Friday, 8 July 2022, Saturday, 9 July 2022, and Sunday, 10 July 2022. This evaluation method uses the Road Capacity Manual guidelines Indonesia 1997.Characteristics on Jalan Imam Bonjol in an effort to overcome problems traffic by taking action to reset the light cycle time and increase the road space capacity or maximize the effective width of the road according to the capacity of the traffic flow by setting the intersection in order to level Accidents and delays can be minimized optimally and effectively. Performance the Small Roundabout intersection of Palangka Raya City on Friday 8 July 2022 ca seen from the capacity value of the north approach 852.2 pcu/hour, degree of saturation 1.00, queue length of 95 m (service level F). On the South approach value capacity 1436.3 pcu/hour, degree of saturation 0.46, queue length 90 m (level of service). In the Western approach, the capacity value is 825 pcu/hour, the degree of saturation is 0.46, queue length of 43 m (service level B). On the Eastern approach to the value of capacity 905.1 pcu/hour, degree of saturation 0.89, queue length 67 m (level of serviceE).
