This research is an analytic research with cross sectionalapproach. The sampling technique is simple random sampling of 33 students and analyzed by Chi-square test. The results of this study show that there is a relationship between reproductive health knowledge and sexual behavior with p = 0.005 ≤ 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge of reproductive health and sexual behavior, it is suggested to health workers to provide counseling to adolescents regarding reproductive health more often to avoid unhealthy sexual behavior

Abstract

This study aims to examine students ability to understand Biology without using a laboratory during the Covid-19 pandemic with online learning. The method used is descriptive with a questionnaire approach. The results show that learning Biology online without using a laboratory can reduce students enthusiasm and interest in exploring the material obtained and reduce learning satisfaction, curiosity and understanding of scientific studies presented online. Student learning outcomes during the Covid-19 pandemic only reached the affective aspect and did not include psychomotor aspects

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in learning outcomes by using computer-based learning videos on reproductive system material. The type of research that has been done is class action research. The subjects in this study were class XI IPA 1, which consisted of 41 people. The data collection tool used is multiple choice tests. The results showed that the average value of the learning outcomes of the first cycle was 59.02 with 58.5% classical completeness while the average value of the second cycle learning outcomes was 71.59 with 80.5% classical completeness. The results of observations on student activity showed an increase from cycle I with a percentage value of 52.38% including the less active category, while student activity in cycle II was 82.47 including the active category. From the data that has been obtained shows that computer-based learning using Camtasia can improve student learning outcomes on the subject matter of the human reproductive system

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to explain the strengthening of scientific/MIPA literacy through lesson study activities as an effort to create a generation with character. The writing of this article uses a literature study/literature study. The required data is collected through text review, then analyzed using content analysis techniques. Based on the literature study, it shows that the effort to create a generation with character is that teachers carry out lesson study activities in a collaborative way to carry out their professional development, designing 21st century skills learning (critical thinking, creative thinking, collaborative, communicative) so that they can provide literacy strengthening, especially science/MIPA literacy

Abstract

Mushrooms are divided into two major groups, namely white rot fungi and brown rot fungi. White rot mushrooms are a group of fungi that easily grow on medium containing cellulose/simple sugars such as bagasse and grass residue, while brown rot mushrooms are a group of fungi that grow easily or well on medium containing complex cellulose such as residue from dead wood. Mushrooms are classified as heterotrophic living things, which means they live by processing food from organic compounds. In general, the substrate used for growing mushrooms is sawdust, but the problem found is the availability of sawdust which is difficult to obtain and costs a lot of money to procure. An alternative substrate that is easy to obtain and widely available is agricultural waste. The purpose of this research is to observe and examine from various sources what types of waste can be used as an alternative for cultivating mushrooms so as to save on production costs. This type of research is applied science research with the method used is the survey study method of literature. The results obtained are the types of waste that can be used as a mushroom growing medium are Sawdust, Coconut Fiber, Oil Palm Empty Bunches, Oil Palm Male Flowers, Palm Oil Stem Decomposite, Rice Husk, Rice Bran, Corn Cobs, Leftover Corn Seeds, Leftover Sorghum Seeds, Remaining Wheat Seeds, Sugar Cane Dregs, Dried Tea Powder, Dried Coffee Skins, Dried Peanut Shells. It is suggested that further research is needed on mixing the composition of mushroom growing media so that maximum results are obtained for the growth of both brown rot and white rot mushrooms

Abstract

Curiosity is necessary to live in today's world, so as not to be left behind by information that is developing very rapidly. Curiosity about literacy is a necessity for every human being who is human-centered and collaborates with technology. One of the important literacy in this era is scientific literacy. This study aims to describe comprehensively about curiosity towards scientific literacy. The research population was all students of the biology education study program in semesters 3 and 5 of FTIK UIN SYAHADA Padangsidimpuan, totaling 42 people. Sampling in this study was carried out by means of random sampling with a total sample of 20 people. This type of research is qualitative. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires online using the Google form application Data analysis techniques using qualitative analysis. The results of data analysis show that overall student curiosity (curiosity) is classified as 'good', this is indicated by the number of students who choose 'always and often' for positive statements and those who choose 'rarely and never' for negative statements are less This study shows that there is good curiosity about scientific literacy in the material scope of biology
