Abstract

This research was carried out using a quantitative correlation research approach to fourth grade students at the Ciheuleut 1 State Elementary School, Bogor City. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and learning achievement in Islamic Religious Education subjects at Ciheuleut 2 Public Elementary School Bogor City for the 2019/2020 Academic Year. survey method was used to collect data and correlational studies to obtain information about the relationship between emotional intelligence and learning achievement in Islamic religious education. The results of the significance test of the correlation coefficient obtained tcount = 20.56 while ttable with = 0.05 and dk 14 of 2.11. The comparison of the two values ​​shows that tcount > ttable. This means that the correlation between emotional intelligence (X) and learning achievement (Y) is very significant. Because the correlation coefficient obtained is positive, it can be said that the correlation coefficient between emotional intelligence (X) and learning achievement (Y) is positive and very significant. That is, the higher the understanding of emotional intelligence, the higher the learning achievement.

Abstract

With the claims of terrorist nests to pesantren, the reputation of Islamic educational institutions has become negative. There needs to be a new breakthrough in managing Islamic educational institutions to improve their reputation. One of them is implementing an educational model that counters radicalism in the pesantren environment, because pesantren as an Islamic educational institution with an open ideology and will easily accept differences. One of the pesantren that implements a counter-radicalism education model is the Al-Karimiyah Islamic Boarding School, Sawangan Baru, Sawangan, Depok City. So, the author is interested in researching the pesantren. This study uses qualitative by emphasizing field studies (field research). This research begins with social construction which is inter-subjective, diverse and requires an overall understanding and inter-subjective relationship of symptoms. The results show that the process of realizing counter-radicalism values ​​at the Al-Karimiyah Islamic Boarding School is through programs and management that lead to that goal. Furthermore, Islamic programs and studies fostered in Islamic boarding schools produce students who are tolerant and sociable.

Abstract

The Prophet had locked the position of the Al-Quran by saying that the Al-Quran is shalihun likulli Zaman wa eat. Then why is it that religious and human life today, especially in Muslim society, seems to be kept away from those things that are miraculous?. Humans are the best creatures created by God. Humans in the editorial verses of the Koran have several terms, such as al nas, al ins, al insan, and Bani Adam. From these terms some of the meanings can be revealed which provide information about the origin of human creation and its behavior. Human existence in general acts as a servant of Allah (Abd.Allah) and as a protector or prosperous on the surface of the earth (khalifah Allah). The modern era is marked by various discoveries in the scientific field. The development of science in modern times has actually been pioneered since the Renaissance era. The beginning of a new era was marked by Descartes' great effort to give philosophy a new structure. Philosophy developed not during the Renaissance, but later in the later era (Modern Age). Examining and understanding the holy Quran, which is shalihun likulli Zaman wa Makan, is a term coined 14 centuries ago, meaning that it contains a deep message that the Quran will always be in accordance with the conditions of the era and place.

Abstract

Islamic civilization has given birth to no less than 300 philosophers, therefore every Islamic or Arabic philosophy has a special tradition that no other tradition has. The philosophical tradition in Islam is a creative work born from the worldview of Islam. It is a system of beliefs, thoughts and values, which is projected by the word of God through tafaqquh, bayan, interpretation, takwil, and is developed in the Islamic scientific tradition. Islamic philosophy grows from revelation and then develops within scientific traditions, such as fiqh, interpretation, kalam, and hadith. Islamic rational-philosophical thought was born not from outsiders but from its holy book, namely the Koran, especially in relation to efforts to adapt the teachings of the text to the realities of everyday life. There are at least three models of formal study which turn out to have philosophical relevance. Among other things, (1) the use of takwîl. (2) musytarak and (3) the use of qiyâs (analogy). Al Kindi has introduced new problems in Islamic thought and left behind philosophical problems that persist today: (1) the creation of the universe, how it came about, (2) the immortality of the soul, what it means and how to prove it, and (3) knowledge of God, what does astrology have to do with it and how did it happen. There are two reasons it is called Islamic philosophy.

Abstract

Schooling is social institution needed to produce educational products and services, which useful for the existence of individual, community, or nation and state. In the term of economic of education, education production processes consume resources which scarce or limited, so education stakeholders should be capable to use the available resources effectively and efficiently. Educational results can be categories as consumption and investment. As consumption, the results are immediately and directly enjoyable, called “outputs”. While as investment, education give benefits indirectly and in the long term continuously, named “outcomes”. Also the results can be differentiating as economic valued outputs and non-economic valued outputs. The first one is outputs which potentially useful to get financial or monetary advantages, as knowledge and skills. While the second one is benefits which can not be measured as money, like friendship, happiness etc. The calculation of economical education results carried out by formulas: the earnings differentials, net present value, or internal rate of return, etc. This computation is very important to make decision or consideration in choose and continue study, to explain manpower condition, and to improve education program to meet with manpower demand.

Abstract

Education is a very urgent activity in Islam. With education, Islam can be spread and accepted by humans. Education has been mentioned in the Qur'an and hadith. In the Al-qu'an, Surah An-Nahl verse 125, apart from ordering Muslims to preach, it also provides guidance on how to carry it out, namely in a good way and in accordance with religious instructions. In this discussion, the methods used are the methods of deduction and induction, and are described qualitatively. The discussion on writing this thesis is through research consisting of library research and literature discussion (theory). Served as a basis and feedback from the actual situation in the discussion. This literature research was carried out in research intended to obtain direct descriptions and situations as material for obtaining the input presented. Based on the statements put forward by the author in the research, the author came to the conclusion that education can be interpreted as a process of conveying it to students so that students want or know about the Islamic religion. The law of seeking knowledge is fardhu a'in. In teaching, there are the most important assets, namely having knowledge, being gentle and patient.

Abstract

Madrasah has a strategic role in eliminating intolerance in Indonesia through the application of wasathiyah values, but madrasah does not yet have the concept, the wasathiya values to be applied, or the development of Wasathiyah Education. That is why this article aims to describe the concept, the types of wasathiyah values, and its development strategies. This writing uses the method of library research, i.e., digging up a wealth of data from various literature, both primary and secondary, which originates from books, journals, and other literature according to the focus of the study. According to some literature in results and discourse, education wasatiyyah is an education that promotes attitudes of tolerance, justice, and balance across all lines of life. The values of wasatiyyah to be updated in Madrasah are tawassut (midway), tawazun (balance), i'tidal (justice), tasamuh (tolerance), musawah (egaliter), syura (consultation), abhasah (reformation), alawiyat (priority), tahaddhur (civilization), wathaniyah wa muwathani (nation-state), and watiyah (inovatif). The model of development of education wasatiyyah that needs to be updated in madrasah is: first, madrasha must make a vision and mission that lead to the values of wasatiyya. Secondly, madrasahs should be able to develop a curriculum based on the values of wasatiyyah. Third, the strengthening of the habitation and culture of madrasah as a strategy for internalising the values of wasatiya Fourth, the madrasah should be able to strengthen Islamic moderation through programmes that integrate and lead to the values of the wasati.

Abstract

In everyday life, we often unknowingly engage in muamalah practices that may not be fully in accordance with the teachings of Islam. However, these practices have become a long-standing common habit in society. Islam, as the last religion, provides guidelines for all aspects of human life in the world, including dealing with fellow human beings. Although 'urf is not always agreed upon by all scholars, in fiqh, 'urf is often used as a legal basis in various aspects of daily life that are constantly evolving. This study aims to explore how 'urf is applied in payment practices in many restaurants and food stalls in Indonesia. By using the rules of 'urf in everyday muamalah, customs that may not be fully compliant with sharia law do not always need to be changed. This can provide convenience and comfort when transacting in society without causing difficulties or conflicts.

Abstract

This study reveals that teacher management is a profession with limited professional skills, and teacher organizations do not implement effective strategies. Research focuses on strategic management of teacher education, including analyzing the school environment, formulating strategies, implementing strategies, evaluating strategies, and solving problems. This research uses qualitative methods which include observation and documentation, and uses theories such as the Grand theory of strategic management, learning theory, and student concepts. The study also used triangulation to validate the data. Research findings include analyzing the school environment using SWOT analysis, formulating strategies, implementing strategies, evaluating strategies and overcoming problems. Research concludes that teacher management is a profession with limited professional skills and is not effective in improving student learning.

Abstract

The study aims to describe and analyze the ethical interactions between teachers and students according to the perspective of verses 1 through 10 of abasa letter 1 to 10 to develop the ethical concept of interacting in education and as the development of a new generation of people according to the educational purpose. Such research USES living qur 'an to incorporate research between research research (library research) and an in-depth study of tafsir thahir ibn 'the asy and field research' to find out how the qur 'an text is summarized in social life. The data-gathering technique is to find data on written data or variables, whereas the data analysis used is content analysis. In this study, a conclusion from the study, taken from the book of tafsir al-tahrir wa al-tanwir, is found an interaction ethic according to thahir ibn 'ashur: a teacher should have love, meekness, and first the needy.
