Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of soaking colchicine on the growth and production ofciplukan (Phisalin angulata L.) plants. This research was conducted by PT. Asam JawaPangarungan Village, Torgamba District. South Labuhanbatu Regency. The research was carriedout after the proposal seminar which began in February to June 2019. The research design usedwas a Non Factorial Randomized Block Design using 1 factor 3 treatment level, namely: K0 =ciplukan plants without colchicine, K1 = plants ciplukan with 0.25% colchicine for 24 hours, K2 =ciplukan with 0.625% colchicine for 24 hours, K3 = ciplukan with 1.25% colchicine for 24 hours.The parameters are Plant Height (cm), Leaf Width (cm), Flower Age Appears (days), Number ofPlanted Fruits, Planted Fruit Weight (grams). From some colchicine immersion (0.01%,0.025%, 0.05%) for 24 hours. The highest average plant height for 8 MST was found in theimmersion of 0.025%, 16.5 cm. The highest average leaf width for 11 MST was 0.025% soaking at16.17 cm. At the average age, the highest interest was found in the control, namely 41.4days. At the highest average number of fruits found in the immersion of 0.025%, 74 fruits. Thehighest average fruit weight was found in the immersion of 0.025%, 18.35%. So, from somecolchicine immersion treatment, the best is at 0.025% immersion.

Abstract

Soil physical properties are the key determinants of the quality of a land and the environment. This study aims to analyze the physical properties of the soil in mature oil palm stands. The method used is a free grid survey method at the semi-detail survey level (observation density of 1 sample per 100 meters). Oil palm soil samples were taken from 6 oil palm sample trees in the people's garden of Perlabian Village, South Labuhanbatu Village, with an area of 1 hectare. The parameters of the physical properties of the soil tested were bulk density, soil porosity, soil color, and soil moisture content. Data analysis was done by descriptive method. The results showed that the physical properties of the soil in the community garden of Perlabian Village, South Labuhanbatu Village, showed good bulk density, clay and firmness, good soil porosity, relatively dark soil color, and high soil moisture content. Therefore, the physical properties of the soil in the people's garden of Perlabian Village, South Labuhanbatu Village are suitable for oil palm growth.. Keywords: Oil Palm, Properties, Physics, Soil

Abstract

Bitter melon is one of the types of potentially commercial vegetables if cultivated intensively on an agribusiness scale. In addition, bitter melon is a profitable agricultural commodity and trade material in local markets and supermarkets because it contains high nutrition that is complete and all parts of the medicinal plant bitter melon. Green giant is an organic fertilizer, in the form of pellets containing nutrients complete with high cation exchange capacity that will increase the availability of nutrients for plants, safe for the environment. Green Giant can improve physical, chemical and biological soil properties. Improving soil texture and structure is accompanied by neutralizing soil acidity, improving soil aeration and drainage, supporting the development of beneficial microorganisms in the soil and increasing the amount of nutrients that can be absorbed by plants. the application of leaf fertilizer which contains micro nutrients, the deficiencies can be overcome. Abstract

The Impact of the Rural Agribusiness Business Program (PUAP) on the level of income of farmers that aims to: (1) To determine the level of success of the implementation of the PUAP program in Tebing Tinggi Pangkat Village. (2) To find out the constraints and obstacles faced in the implementation of the PUAP program (3) To find out the amount of PUAP farmers 'income compared to the farmers' income before participating in PUAP. Samples were taken as many as 113 random farmers. This research was conducted at Gapoktan including descriptive-quantitative research types. The type of data used is quantitative data. The research subject is Gapoktan who receives PUAP funds, and the object is Gapoktan income PUAP fund recipients. The data used is quantitative data in the form of income data for Gapoktan members who receive PUAP funds. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis, namely paired sample t-test. The results showed that: (1) there was a difference in the level of Gapoktan farm income after following the PUAP program. The income earned by PUAP farmers (Rp. 1,558.23 / month) is significantly higher, compared to the income before joining PUAP (Rp. 815.58 / month). (2) the level of success of the PUAP program in the Gapoktan Bina Sejati KelurahanTebing Tinggi Pangkatans is very high. From various Impacts, PUAP Program, and Farmer Income are almost all achieved. The success has been distributed to the PUAP BLM funds to all agribusiness farmers who apply for credit. Funds have been received quickly, precisely, without any deductions (3) In the implementation of the PUAP program in Gapoktan Bina Sejati KelurahanTing Tinggi Pangkat, no significant obstacles were found. Keywords: PUAP Program, PUAP Fund, Income Level, Gapoktan

Abstract

Rubber (Havea brasiliensis L) is one of the important plantation commodities, both as a source of income, job opportunities and foreign exchange, as a driver of new economic growth in the area around rubber plantations as well as environmental and biological resource conservation.The purpose of this study was to determine the concentration of the effect of using shallot juice (Allium cepa L.) to increase the volume of rubber latex (Hevea brasiliensis L). This research was conducted in the rubber plantation field in Bangun Rejo Village, Bilahilir District, using the Non-Factorial Experimental method and 3 replications.The data obtained were analyzed using a variance test and continued with the Duncan distance test. The results showed that the application of shallot juice with a concentration of 100% had a significant effect on the production of rubber latex. Further research is needed to determine the effect of onion juice on other plants with high economic value.Keywords : Rubber (Havea brasiliensis L), Shallot (Allium cepa L.)

Abstract

In the last three years, the production center for lowland rice in Labuhanbatu district, precisely in Panai Tengah District, experienced a decline in production in 2018. One of them was the decline in production due to the decreased nutrient content in the soil and added fertilizer by lowland rice farmers. due to limited land resource data. This study aims to determine the nutrient status of pH and C-Organic of rainfed lowland soil in Panai Tengah Subdistrict, Labuhanbatu Regency with an altitude of 11 meters above sea level. Soil analysis was carried out in the Biology laboratory of the University of North Sumatra. This research was carried out in Labuhanbatu from April 2021 to July 2021. The method in this study was a semi-detailed grid survey with an observation density of 1 sample per 250 meters. Measurement of soil pH using the method of pH-H2O and C-Organic soil using the Walkley and Black method. Based on the Nutrient Status, the pH content of the irrigated paddy soil was classified as very acidic and Slightly Acidic, while the C-Organic and Organic Matter content of the rainfed paddy soil was low so that the effort to improve the nutrient status of the irrigated paddy soil in Sei Rakyat Village, Panai Tengah District, Labuhanbatu Regency was in the form of adding organic matter with compost and fertilizer and inorganic according to the recommendations to improve soil fertility status. Keywords: Nutrient Status, Panai Tengah District, Rainfed Rice Fields

Abstract

Indonesia is an agricultural country where the majority of the population makes a living as farmers. This is supported by the large amount of vacant land that can be used as agricultural land, in addition to the condition of the soil in Indonesia which has good nutrient content so that it can help plant growth. One of the leading horticultural products in the agricultural sector in Indonesia is vegetable crops. One of the vegetable commodities needed by almost all industries is chili. Red chili plant is one type of vegetable that has a fairly high water content (55-85%) at the time of harvest. In addition to still experiencing the respiration process, red chili peppers will experience a process of wilting. . The supply of red chili peppers is often unable to meet market demand, resulting in the price of red chili peppers soaring in the market. The high price of red chili is one of the causes of inflation. Good soil conditions for the growth of red pepper plants are sandy loam, because with these soil conditions it can bear fruit quickly while on clay soils it tends to be a bit slow, therefore Rice Husk Ash is needed to improve the soil foundation. Rice husk ash serves to loosen the soil so that it can make it easier for plant roots to absorb nutrients in it. Fertilizer plays an important role in increasing plant yields, one of which is liquid organic fertilizer from household waste, the benefits of liquid organic fertilizer, especially in soils with low nutrient content so that it can improve nutrient properties and add nutrients that are present and needed in the soil in order to obtain the growth behavior of the Red Chili plant (Capsicum annum L.). Therefore, I conducted this research to be able to improve the chemical properties of peat soil by applying rice husk ash and liquid organic fertilizer household waste to see growth in red chili plants (Capsicum annum L.).                          Keywords: Red Chili, rice husk ash, Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC).

Abstract

Analysis of Macro Nutrients N,P,K And Mg Liquid Organic Fertilizer From Banana Stem And Peel Material. This research was conducted on Jl. Sempurna kelurahan Bakaran Batu Kec, Rantau Selatan Kab, Labuhanbatu Sumatera Utara, and analyzed at PT SOCFIN INDONESIA Kebun Bangun Bandar SEED Production Desa Martebing Kec. Dolok Masihul Kab. Serdang Bedagai. This study aims to determine the nutrient content of liquid organic fertilizer from banana stems and peels using coconut water, rice washing water and a mixture of coconut water and rice water. This research was conducted on February 11 to February 26, 2021. The research method used was experimental laboratory. The stages of this research include finding sources of material regarding the fermentation process of liquid organic fertilizer from banana plant waste looking for similar research, determining variables, experiment preparation, conducting experiments, analyzing parameters N, P, K and Mg. The data obtained are made into tables and graphs of the results of the analysis, and draw conclusions. The results of the analysis of nutrients with the highest content in liquid organic fertilizer 1 with coconut water are potassium nutrients of 3.26%, the results of the analysis of the highest nutrients in liquid organic fertilizer 2 with fallow washing water are potassium nutrients of 2.29% and fertilizers liquid organic 3 with water mixed with rice water and coconut water, the highest nutrient content is potassium at 3.04%. Keywords : Nutrient Content of N, P, K and Mg, Banana Waste

Abstract

South Labuhanbatu is a district in North Sumatra which is synonymous with a very large area of oil palm plantations. The area of oil palm plantations in South Labuhanbatu district is around 57,307 hectares with a total production of 640,196.60 tons. This study aims to determine the levels of nutrients uptake of nitrogen (N) in oil palm plants produce. So far, the status of testing for potassium nutrient uptake in people's plantations in Perlabian Village, Kampung Rakyat South Labuhanbatu District, has never been carried out. Fertilization and care are carried out through knowledge from generation to generation, so it is important to study the status of nitrogen uptake in oil palm leaves. This research was carried out using a semi-detailed free-level grid survey method with a density of 100 meters. A total of 6 leaf samples were taken on the 17th leaf midrib and then 70% alcohol was applied and put into a plastic sample for further testing in the laboratory of PT. Socfindo. The results showed that the 2nd leaf sample was deficient and 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 leaf samples were at the optimum point. The uptake of N (nitrogen) in the leaves of oil palm plants in smallholder plantations in Perlabian Village, Kampung Rakyat District, showed that the total N content of leaves was included in the optimal category.Keywords: Nitrogen, Nutrient Uptake, Oil Palm Plants have

Abstract

This research aims to determine the growth response (Annona murikata Linn)’by using the method of sinargama radiation with doses of 0 KGY, 0.2 KGY, 0.5 KGY, 0.75 KGY. which was carried out in the Tanjung medan Garden, labuhan batuselatan Regency. The study was conducted from March to May 2022. Ysng method used randomized design group (RAK), which is used to determine the growth response ( Annona murikatLi) using radiation sinargama.The parameters observed were plant height (cm) and number of leaves (strands).Planting height in the last week showed that the dose of 0 KGY, 0.5 KGY, and 0.75 KGY,did not differ significantly from the dose of 0.2 KGY, with a height of 23.20 (cm) This is because it is not too dangerous the influence of these doses for the growth of soursop plants. and the number of leaves in the last week showed that the dose of 0 KGY, 0.5 KGY, and 0.75 KGY,did not differ significantly from the dose of 0.2 KGY,with a number of 6 strands. The low number of leaves produced due to radiation sinargama at high doses can cause changes in plant chromosomes that affect the growth of leaf balak. Keywords: sinargama radiation, Annona murikat Lin
