Abstract

The research was conducted in Dusun VI of Pangkatan Sub-district of Labuhanbatu Regency.The design of Randomized Block Design (RAK) Factorial with 2 factors studied was the factor of Kandang Lembu fertilizer (L) and ZPT Atonik (A) 12 combination of treatment: for the factor of Kandang Lembu fertilizer is L0 = 0 gr / polybag, L1 = 320 gr / polybag, L2 = 640 gr / polybag while the Axik ZPT is A0 = 0 cc / liter water, A1 = 1 cc / Liter of water, A2 = 2 cc / liter of water and A3 = 3 cc / liter of water. Parameters observed, height of plant (cm), stem diameter (cm), flowering plant age (day) and weight of sample plant fruit (gr). From the result of this research, it can be concluded: (1) The treatment of Kandang Lembu fertilizer gives a significant effect on the parameters of plant height, the weight of the sample plant and the stem diameter but does not give significant effect on the age of flowering plants; (2) The treatment of ZPT Atonik is not Showed significant effect on plant height parameters, stem diameter, flowering plant age and plant sample weight; (3) The interaction between cow manure and Atonik ZPT did not show any significant effect on all parameters: plant height, stem diameter, plant weight and weight of fruit of sample plant. Abstract

Kacang Panjang (Vigna sinensis L.) merupakan salah satu tanaman sayuran sebagai sumber vitamin dan mineral. Kacang panjang (Vigna sinensis L.) juga merupakan jenis kacang-kacangan yang banyak diusahakan di Indonesia. Desa Gunung Selamat merupakan salah satu desa dengan penghasilan tanaman palawija yang beragam salah satunya kacang panjang (Vigna sinensis L.). Namun, pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan karena banyak permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh petani sehingga menyebabkan pertumbuhan kacang panjang (Vigna sinensis L.)  menurun. Turunnya produksi ini antara lain disebabkan oleh iklim, tanah, pupuk, hama dan penyakit. Maka dari itu pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman serta mengurangi penggunaan pupuk sintetik yang dapat merusak ekosistem tanah, maka dari itu diberi perlakuan penyiraman pupuk organik cair pada tanah serta penyemprotan pestisida nabati dari daun pepaya untuk mencegah hama dan penyakit yang menyerang tanaman kacang panjang (Vigna sinensis L.). Perlakuan ini dibuat untuk melihat hasil respon tingkat pertumbuhan pada tanaman kacang panjang (Vigna sinensis L.).Long beans (Vigna sinensis L.) are a vegetable plant as a source of vitamins and minerals. Long beans (Vigna sinensis L.) are also a type of legume that is widely cultivated in Indonesia. Gunung Selamat Village is one of the villages with a variety of agricultural crops, one of which is long beans (Vigna sinensis L.). However, this community service was carried out because of the many problems faced by farmers, which caused the growth of long beans (Vigna sinensis L.) to decline. The decline in production was caused, among others, by climate, soil, fertilizers, pests and diseases. Therefore, this community service is carried out to increase plant growth and reduce the use of synthetic fertilizers that can damage the soil ecosystem, therefore it is given the treatment of sprinkling liquid organic fertilizers on the soil and spraying vegetable pesticides from pepaya leaves to prevent pests and diseases that attack long bean plants (Vigna sinensis L.). This treatment was designed to see the results of the growth rate response in long bean plants (Vigna sinensis L.).

Abstract

One factor that determines the quality of chili seeds is growing media fertility. Fertility of growing media can be improved by fertilization therefore, through the application of NPK 15.15.15 fertilizer and liquid organik fertilizer blue elbow is expected to increase the growth of pepper plants. The research design used was factorial randomized block design with two factors studied, the first factor was NPK 15.15.15 (N) and organik fertilizer liquid blue eagle (M) with 12 combinations. The treatment of NPK 15.15.15 is N0 = 0 gr / polybag, N1 = 10 gr / polybag, N2 = 20 g / polybag and N3 = 30 g / polybag, while the organik liquid liquefaction of blue eagle is M0 = 0 ml / l water, M1 = 2 ml / l water, M2 = 3 ml / l water. The observed parameters were plant height (cm), stem diameter (cm), flowering plant age (day), and sample plant grain weight (gr). The result of this research showed that NPK 15.15.15 fertilizer on red curly plants showed very significant effect on plant height and real to fruit weight but not significant on the age of stalk and stem diameter. The treatment of liquid organik fertilizer of blue eagle on plants showed significant differences in the age of neonrophytic flowering plants not significant in stem diameter, fruit weight, and plant height. The interaction between NPK 15.15.15 fertilizer and liquid organik fertilizer of blue eagle showed no significant difference in all parameters observed. Abstract

Rosela (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) is a medicinal plant. Rosela has a chemical compound that can provide many benefits. Efficacy of rosella to prevent disease, treat disorders of various diseases with gossiptin anthocyanin content and gluciside hibiscin contained in it. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of College of Agricultural Sciences of Labuhan Batu University Foundation, North Sumatera Province. This research was started in March 2017. This research used Non-Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) with the harvesting period (P) P0: Control, P1: 1, Clock P2: 2 Hours, P3: 3 Hours P4: 4 Hours P5: 5 Hours P6: 6 Hours P: 7 Hours. The highest rate of germination was found in P7 treatment of 3.22 days. The highest normal germination percentage was found in P5 and P7 treatment of 66.67%. Than highest abnormal germination percentege was found in P3, P4 and P6 treatment of 33.33 %. Keywords : Rosela, Old Immersion

Abstract

This study aims to determine the composition effect of several growing media on the growth and production of cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L). This research was carried out on the Labuhanbatu STIPER trial field, Jln. Manunggal AMD, Bakaran Batu Village, Rantau Selatan District, Labuhanbatu Regency, North Sumatra Province which began from December 2018 to March 2019. The experimental design used was Non Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) and each treatment was repeated 3 (three) times. Treatment consists of: P0 = Land (control), P1 = Solid + Land (1: 3), P2 = Cow Manure + Soil (1: 3), P3 = Sand + Soil (1: 3), P4 = Land + Solid + Cow Manure (2: 1: 1), P5 = Land + Solid + Sand (2: 1: 1), P6 = Soil + Cow Manure + Sand (2: 1: 1), P7 = Land + Solid + Cow + Sand Manure (1: 1: 1: 1). The results showed that the composition of solid + soil planting media with a ratio of 1: 3 (P1) can increase plant height, number of leaves and stem diameter of cayenne pepper plants. In the composition of soil + solid planting media + cow manure with a ratio of 2: 1: 1 (P4) can increase the weight of fruit crops and the number of fruit crops in cayenne pepper plants.Keywords: composition of planting media, cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L).

Abstract

Study the effectivity analysis of Program Usaha Agribisnis Perdesaan (PUAP) and its impact on farmer income levels (case study of the Teluk Jaya Farmers Group Association) aims to 1. knowing how large the effectivity of PUAP funds is for income levels in poverty alleviation in Teluk Desa Sentosa Panai Hulu Subdistrict, 2. to analyze and determine the level of income of Gapoktan Teluk Jaya Farming Business in Teluk Sentosa, Panai Hulu Subdistrict before and after receiving PUAP assistance. The results showed that the effectivity of PUAP program funding is very effective and good, it can be seen from the results of the F test of 12.406 with a significant level of 0.000 while the F value of the table is 2.051. When compared to the value of F test (12.406) > Ftable (2.051) at α 5%, it was concluded that simultaneously the effectivity variable and the PUAP program had a positive effect. The increase in income of the Teluk Jaya Farmers Group in Teluk Sentosa after receiving PUAP funds can be known from the t table for the effectivity variable of 2.663 and the PUAP program for 1.270 with a significant value for each independent variable (2.051); (0.073). Whereas for the t table value in the distribution statistics t table with the level of test α = 5% and df1 = 27 of 2,051. Based on the criteria that if the value is t count> t table); namely (2.663> 2,051) (1,270> 2,051) so that it can be concluded that the effectivity variable partially has a positive and significant effect on the income level.Keywords : effectivity variable,  income level, PUAP program

Abstract

The research aimed to know about the level of fertility and sold price of TBC to the productivity and income of farmer effort palm field in Labuhanbatu regency. The research was done in Labuhanbatu regerency taking of sample by used stratified random sampling as many as 30 estate with extensive gardens ranging from 0,5 ha up to 10 ha and the age of its vegetation varies, i.e.ranging from 2,5 years to 18 years. Data was analized by multiple regression test, F-test and t-test againts the influence of the independent variable agains. The results showed that simultaneouly fertilizer urea, SP-36, mop and kiserit real effect againts oil palm productivity. Partially, fertilizer urea, mop and kiserit real effect againts the production of palm oil, but fertilizer sp-36 effect is not real agains oil palm productivity, the selling price of oil palsm TBS connecting unreal with in come of farmer oil palm. Abstract

The design used a random Design Group (RAK) factorial with 1 factors and five levels of treatment: O0:0 cc/l, O1:5 cc/l, O2:10 cc/l, O3:15 cc/l, O4:8 cc/l, and continued with the test Duncan's Multiple Range tests. The parameters observed were higher plants (cm), number of leaves (strands), diameter clump (cm) and weight of fresh plant (gr). From the results of this research conclusion, delivery of Liquid organic fertilizer (POC) Herbafarm the real effect against all the observed parameters such as: plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), diameter clump (cm) and weight of fresh plant (gr). Abstract

The increase in market demand red spinach (Amaranthus Gangeticus) makes the prospects very promising less than optimal for the growth of red spinach (Amaranthus Gangeticus) because soil fertility is low so that the provision of organic material can improve soil fertility through the improvement of the physical, chemical, and biological soil so that it can support the growth of red spinach. This study aims to determine the dose of manure, the dosage of rice husk ash as well as the interaction of dosage that is optimal for the growth and yield of red spinach.this research was conducted experimental farm of the faculty of science and technology with a height of 28 meters above sea level Labuhanbatu district in March to October 2020. Research design using group factorial consisting of two factors. The first factor, namely the granting of cow manure (L) with three levels, namely : L0 = 0 ton/ha (control) L1 = 2 ton/ha, equivalent to 200 g/m2 (the recommended dose), L2 = 4 ton/ha, equivalent to 400 g/m2, L3 = 6 ton/ha, equivalent to 600 g/m2. The second factor, rice husk ash (A) consists of 4 levels, namely : A0 = 0 ton/ha (control), A1 = 1 ton/ha equivalent to 50 g/m2 (the recommended dose), A2 = 1.5 tons/ha, equivalent to 75 g/m2.The Parameters measured were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), Weight per Plant Sample (g). The results showed that the administration of cow manure 4 ton/ha, equivalent to 400 g/m2 can increase plant height, leaf number, and weight per Plant of amaranth red. The provision of 1.5 tons/ha, equivalent to 75 g/m2 can increase plant height, the number of leaves plant red spinach (Amaranthus Gangeticus).Keywords: Rice Husk Ash, Red Spinach, Cow Manure, Plant Growth

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the effect of urea fertilizer and the appropriate Super-Vit fertilizer in order to obtain good peanut plant growth and to see whether there is a real interaction between the two factors on the growth of peanut plant. This research was conducted at Jl. Dewi Sartika Gg. Education. South Rantau District Labuhanbatu Regency of North Sumatra Province, with an altitude of ± 54 M from sea level. The method used is Factorial Random Design (RAK) Factorial with 12 treatment combinations and 3 replications, Urea fertilizer factor Consisting of 4 levels: U0 = 0 gr / plant, U1 = 1 gr / plant, U2 = 2 gr / plant, U3 = 3 gr / plant, while Super-Vit fertilizer factor consists of 3 levels ie: S0 = 0 gr / Plant, S1 = 0.2 gr / plant, S2 = 0.3 gr / plant. Parameters observed were 4, ie plant height, number of pods per sample plant, weight of 1000 seeds, and production amount per plot. The treatment of urea fertilizer had no significant effect on plant height parameter and weight of 1000 seeds, while the effect was very real on the number of pods containing the plant and the amount of production per plot, the treatment of Super-Vit fertilizer showed a significant effect on the parameters of plant height, Pod containing per plant sample, and production amount per plot. But no significant effect on weight parameter of 1000 grain seeds. Treatment of interaction between Urea fertilizer and Super-Vit fertilizer showed no significant effect on plant height parameters, number of pods per sample plant, weight of 1000 seeds, and production amount per plot.
