Abstract

Education is an important component of a country. Education is one of the obligations of every citizen to advance the progress of thought and advance the progress of the nation. The Civics education is a general compulsory subject in Indonesia. This study aims to explore the impact of globalization on nationalism at UPN “veteran” schools in East Java and the importance of citizenship education in the campus environment. In this study, we used qualitative methods, interviewed 3 informants and distributed questionnaires to 50 additional informants. All of them were “veteran” UPN students from East Java. The results of interviews and surveys conducted resulted in the conclusion that love for the nation and also having a sense of nationalism must be instilled in the younger generation through citizenship education in the educational environment. This will help achieve the goals of civics education and make citizens aware of their rights and obligations as members of the Indonesian state. In this way the quality of the implementation of civics education will further increase the awareness of the younger generation that they are the next generation of the Indonesian nation.

Abstract

The purpose of this industrial visit is to find out about employee training and development at CV. Arsana Sentosa which is an important thing to do for CV. Arsana Sentosa, this visit is very important in a visit or scientific article. relevant past visits serve to organize theory and benefits in training among employees. This article discusses knowledge, skills and attitudes about a Human Resource Management relationship that has a goal in training. The purpose of this article is to develop and find innovative training in the future by carrying out training objectives by means of knowledge, skills and attitudes that are honest and good. Articles from the Visit include: The first three are "Knowledge in training" "Ability in employee training" and "attitude in employee training." The method used in this visit is a descriptive method obtained by the author through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this industrial visit indicate that the human resource management carried out in developing the CV. Arsana Sentosa is implemented through job training, development and innovative training, employee attitude with honesty and mandatory training that is carried out regularly.

Abstract

Our goal of visiting Umkm's place is to expand existing sales in our city, namely Karawang and also improve culture. Work motivation is a driving force in a person to behave and work diligently in accordance with the duties and obligations that have been given to him. The decline in work motivation for MSME actors in Belendung village can be caused by several factors, starting from the Covid-19 pandemic which has reduced sales productivity to no there was a month's worth of productivity, as well as an increase and scarcity of materials to make products. The methods used in this service are interviews and observation. Interviews were conducted in order to obtain information directly to explain a matter or situation and conditions that occur in SMEs. While observations are made with the aim of drawing conclusions by direct observation. Based on the research conducted, the result is that there is a decrease in work motivation for MSME actors in Belendung village, this is caused by problems that occur without any effort to increase work motivation so that they can work optimally.

Abstract

Bullying telah menjadi masalah berat bagi pemerintah dan masyarakat sejak lama, terbukti dari data statistik berikut. Berdasarkan data yang dirilis oleh Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia (KPAI), sepanjang tahun 2022, tercatat ada pengaduan 226 kasus kekerasan fisik dan psikis, dengan kasus perundungan yang terus meningkat sampai saat ini. Penelitian kami berjudul Pencegahan Fenomena Bullying di Kalangan Mahasiswa Teknik Lingkungan angkatan 22 UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif sedangkan untuk memperoleh data menggunakan metode pengumpulan data survei. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif adalah metode yang diaplikasikan untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan atau teori terhadap pengkajian pada waktu tertentu (Mukhtar, 2013). Metode pengumpulan data survei ialah penelitian yang dilaksanakan untuk mendapatkan data-data dari fenomena yang berlangsung dan mencari keterangan-keterangan secara faktual, baik tentang institusi, sosial, ekonomi, atau politik dari suatu kelompok atau daerah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwasanya terdapat 17% mahasiswa teknik lingkungan yang tidak pernah mendapatkan bullying, 47,2% mahasiswa teknik lingkungan yang jarang mendapatkan bullying, 32,1% mahasiswa teknik lingkungan yang kadang-kadang mendapatkan bullying, 3,8% mahasiswa teknik lingkungan yang sering mendapatkan bullying, dan 0% mahasiswa teknik lingkungan yang sangat sering mendapatkan bullying, dari total responden yang dijadikan sampel penelitian yang pernah mendapatkan bullying. Sebagian besar responden mempunyai teman di lingkungan kampus dan tidak pernah mengalami bullying melalui media sosial. Untuk cara mencegah terjadinya bullying di lingkup prodi responden banyak menjawab dengan tidak ikut campur urusan orang lain dan berusaha melakukan hal positif lain yang lebih menguntungkan dan saat terjadinya bullying sikap yang akan diambil dengan melaporkan hal tersebut kepada pihak berwenang dan membela korban bullying agar merasa terlindungi dari ancaman.

Abstract

The fourth industrial revolution is defined as the application of technology, intelligent systems, and automation to industrial operations. In this case the 4.0 revolution is an industrial revolution which is a general transformation phase in the industrial world related to data exchange and automation in factory technology, robotic technology and artificial intelligence. With the 4.0 industrial revolution, many things have changed in various sectors, where in the operational activities of a company it does not require many workers to run it, because it has been replaced by the use of technological machines. Thus, many workers will be laid off because they are replaced by technology. In order to implement the industrial revolution 4.0, this study aims to provide a solution by identifying a suitable company industrial relations management strategy. This way, there won't be any conflicts between employers and employees, and businesses can implement the industrial revolution 4.0 without running afoul of the workforce. A qualitative technique was employed in this study throughout the stages of data collection employing library research to gather various books, journals, or other online sources that are relevant to the issues and study objectives. Then the data obtained is then identified using the descriptive method so that general conclusions can be drawn relating to the company's industrial relations management strategy which is suitable in the effort to implement the industrial revolution 4.0 so that there is no conflict between employers and workers.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the Koran as a source of law according to Muhammad Syahrur. The research conducted is a qualitative research with an ushul fiqh approach. The main data sources in this research are books written by Muhammad Syahrur. And secondary data sources in this study are scientific writings related to the themes discussed. This study concludes that according to Syahrur, the interpretation of the Koran must be carried out by people who are experts in their respective fields and in accordance with current scientific developments. Besides that, it is also necessary to sort out and re-select Islamic teachings from the Koran which is the object of ijtihad. Treatise verses are verses related to law or things that cannot be changed. The nubuwwah verses are verses whose interpretation is in accordance with the times. The Koran sets limits in establishing laws that cannot be violated.

Abstract

The Spy Next Door is one of family movie where Jacky Chan plays in the movie. This paper  aims to study about what strategies of translating which exists and is applied ny translator in subtitiling or translating in The Spy Next Door movie. In this mini research, the researcher found that the meaning of word or sentence depends on the context, either situational context or cultural context. It is clear that American culture is different with Indonesian’s. The translation shows that “Halloween” cannot be translated “Suronan”. They are different each other. There is no “Halloween” in Indonesian culture. The researcher found that the strategies used in The Spy Next Door movie are Expansion, paraphrase, transfer, Imitation, condensation, deletion, and resignation.

Abstract

Lacking supportive public policies in the past, many American workers and communities have borne the costs of shifting production around the world but have yet to fully reap the benefits, contributing to widening inequality. Addressing this deficiency requires policies that expand the gains from trade while leveling the international economic playing field by combating unfair trade practices and implementing a more equitable global tax system. Implementing such policy changes in a way that reduces uncertainty and engages with the United States' trading and commercial partners can ensure that American consumers, workers, businesses, and investors benefit from global trade. This paper aims to place America's economic experience during the pandemic in a global context by comparing it to our largest trading partners: the euro area, the UK, China, Canada and Mexico. The next section examines how international trade has recovered from the sharp downturn caused by the pandemic, examining the causes of the widening US trade deficit and the impact of international supply chain bottlenecks on traded inputs such as auto parts and capital goods. The final section examines how the Biden-Harris Administration reoriented US international economic policy to reduce, rather than exacerbate, economic inequality and to equalize the international economic standing.

Abstract

There is a lot of misunderstanding that every human right is considered a human right by both law enforcers and society who cannot distinguish between what is called a human right and what is not called a human right. Of the many cases of human rights violations that have occurred in Indonesia, from cases of human rights violations committed by the community against the community to law enforcement officials who have committed human rights violations or even implemented a law enforcement system that violates human rights. Human rights enforcement in Indonesia is still not implemented, due to the rampant acts of human rights violations. The lack of enforcement of human rights is marked by the uneven distribution of existing legal services, especially in remote areas. Human rights enforcement in Indonesia is also limited by policies and laws such as the ITE Law and the Terrorism Law which limit people's ability to express opinions and form associations. The formation of the new draft Criminal Code has a role in minimizing human rights violations, namely the human rights of defendants who are subject to death sentences because in the new draft Criminal Code, the death penalty does not mean that the accused is executed immediately after the verdict, but looks at the next 10 years if the defendant is seen to have a change for the better, so the death penalty defendant is reduced to life imprisonment. This certainly prioritizes human rights above all else, especially the right to the life of the defendant.

Abstract

The curriculum is a component that plays a strategic role in the success of the education and learning process in order to achieve institutional goals in educational institutions. Therefore, the curriculum system greatly determines the success or failure of a madrasah/school in becoming a quality and quality educational institution. Ahmad Tafsir explained that the curriculum contains four components, namely objectives, content, teaching and learning methods or processes, and evaluation. The four components in the curriculum are related to each other. Implementation of the curriculum is divided into two parts, namely the implementation of the curriculum at the madrasah/school level and class level. Between the school curriculum and the class curriculum is the basis of the learning process which is the main guideline for the implementation of education in an educational institution. At the madrasah/school level, a school principal is the main person in charge, while the teacher acts as the spearhead of implementing the curriculum at the classroom level. This study seeks to provide an overview of the importance of curriculum development at the madrasah level so that it can become the main guideline and reference in implementing learning so as to create an optimal and superior learning atmosphere.
