Anxiety can be caused by uncertainty about the prognosis of the disease, the effectiveness of treatment for recovery of the condition, which is often found in cancer patients, especially at an advanced stage. Anxiety management is provided through the main nursing interventions, namely progressive muscle relaxation techniques. The purpose of this study was to identify progressive muscle relaxation to reduce anxiety in cancer patients. The method used is a literature review in the form of a literature review obtained from Garuda Ristekbrin, PubMed, Google Scholar and Science Direct searches. After filtering, the author examines the contents of the article in accordance with the subject matter in accordance with the author's title. There were 10 journals selected for review by the authors, 6 of which used a quasi-experiment, 3 used a systematic review, and 1 used a randomized controlled trial. The results of statistical tests for the 10 journals selected, all journals showed a significant influence on the nursing intervention carried out, namely Progressive Muscle Relaxation therapy in reducing anxiety in cancer sufferers. It is hoped that this literature review will become a reference and reference for nursing interventions in reducing anxiety in cancer patients, one of which is progressive muscle relaxation therapy.

Abstract

DMPA is a hormonal contraceptive method that is often used because of its high effectiveness. However, some users report side effects in the form of decreased libido. This study used a cross-sectional design involving 150 DMPA injectable contraceptive acceptors at several health centers in City Y. This study aims to determine the relationship between the duration of use of the 3-month DMPA (Depo Medroxy Progesterone Acetate) injectable contraceptive device and the decrease in libido in birth control acceptors in PMB Hanifatuzzaqiya Senduro Lumajang. In this research, the research design used is a quantitative research design with a cross-sectional approach, namely a type of research that emphasizes measuring or observing independent and dependent variable data only once at a time. The sampling method uses a purposive sampling method, namely samples taken according to certain characteristics of 75 respondents. The data analysis technique used is data quality testing which consists of validity and reliability tests. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between the duration of DMPA injection contraceptive use for 3 months and a decrease in libido in contraceptive acceptors with p-value = 0.007.

Abstract

The postpartum period is the recovery period after the mother gives birth. The uterus will contract until it is the same size as the uterus before pregnancy. The postpartum period is the period that the mother will go through after childbirth, which starts after the birth of the baby and placenta, namely after the end of the fourth stage of labor and ends up to 6 weeks (42 days) which is marked by the cessation of bleeding. During the puerperium period, the reproductive organs must be cared for properly in order to prevent infection during the post partum period. The method used is a quantitative method with a research design in the form of a cross sectional approach. The aim was to find out whether there was a relationship between the level of knowledge of primiparous postpartum mothers and attitudes regarding perineal suture wound care at PMB Bd. G. A Nyoman Candra, S.ST. Dawuhan Lor Village, Sukodono District, Lumajang Regency. The results of statistical tests using the Spearman Rank test showed a p-value of 0.000, because the p-value < α (0.05) then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, which means there is a relationship between the level of knowledge of primiparous postpartum mothers and the mother's attitude regarding care for perineal suture wounds in PMB Bd. G. A Nyoman Candra, S.ST. Dawuhan Lor Village, Sukodono District, Lumajang Regency with a correlation coefficient of 0.693. The conclusion from the research results was that there was a relationship between the level of knowledge of primiparous postpartum mothers and the mother's attitude regarding the care of perineal suture wounds at PMB Bd. Abstract

Stroke is when something goes wrong with the blood vessels in your brain, and it can cause serious problems like not being able to move or talk. The are two main types of strokes – one where the blood vessels get blocked (called ischemic) and another where they burst (called hemorrhagic). The blocked kind is more common and happens most often (almost 90% of strokes are ischemic). Meanwhile, hemorrhagic stroke is caused by a leak or rupture of blood vessels in or around the brain, thereby blocking blood flow to brain tissue. Based on preliminary studies, it was found that there was still a high incidence of depression in post-stroke patients at RSU ANNA Medika Madura. The research aims to determine whether there is a relationship between self-concept and post-stroke depression in stroke patients. This research method uses cross-sectional. The independent variable is self-concept, while the dependent variable is post-stroke depression. The total population was 94 stroke patients with a sample of 76 respondents. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The instruments used were self-concept questionnaires and HDRS. The statistical test uses the Spearman rank correlation test with a 0.05. The results of the Spearman rank test for the self-concept variable with post-stroke depression obtained a p-value of 0.000 < α 0.05. This research concludes that there is a relationship between self-concept and post-stroke depression in stroke patients. It is hoped that the researchers' suggestions can increase understanding about stroke, improve self-concept to avoid depression.

Abstract

Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) cases in Indonesia and abroad are still a significant health problem. In Indonesia, ARI ranks first as a cause of death in infants and toddlers, with a mortality rate of around 20-30%. ARI can cause severe breathing difficulties, such as pneumonia, and ARI is also one of the leading causes of death in children under the age of five in developing countries. This study aims to analyze how to improve clean and healthy living behavior to prevent ARI in farmer families. The research method used was a literature review conducted through Google Scholar, PubMed, and Science Direct in the 2019-2024 range. The keywords used in the search for articles were "ARI, Respiratory Disorders," "Unhealthy Living Behavior, Reduced Working Period, Well Ventilated House," and "Farmer, Family". Researchers found ten studies that met the inclusion criteria in the review. Prevention of respiratory tract infections (URI) in farming families involves practicing healthy behaviors, such as washing hands with soap, maintaining environmental hygiene, and avoiding exposure to cigarette smoke. The articles highlight the importance of understanding knowledge and adherence to clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS) in reducing the risk of ARI. However, therapeutic communication is also essential, through providing clear information and emotional support to change unhealthy behaviors. The article still has obstacles, such as the underutilization of sanitation clinics, which calls for a more intensive and focused therapeutic communication approach to overcome these obstacles. Factors that increase the risk of Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) include cooking with biogas inside the house, high housing density leading to a lack of sanitation around the house, poor ventilation, heavy workload for farmers, which increases exposure to dust, smoke and toxic gases, intense smoking, lack of access or awareness of the benefits of local sanitation clinics, and lack of awareness of the importance of maintaining environmental sanitation. Nurses are expected to conduct community counseling to improve understanding of clean and healthy behavior in ARI prevention practices among farmers.
