Abstract

Giving weaning food (MP-ASI) too early has many impacts on the health of babies, including diarrheal diseases. This is because the baby's digestive system is not ready to accept food other than breast milk, causing a reaction in the digestive system. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between a mother's level of knowledge and giving MP-ASI (weaning food) on babies under 6 months. This study uses an analytic design observational with an approach Cross-sectional. Data were taken from interviews and questionnaire sheets at Posyandu Kenanga Desa Labruk Lor, held in November 2022 with a total population of 32 mothers with babies aged 0-6 months and a sample of 32 respondents using the technique of total sampling. Data collection includes coding, editing, and tabulating. Bivariate analysis using uji Chi-Square shows p-value= 0.001 < α 0.05 means a relationship exists between the mother's knowledge level and the provision of MP ASI to infants under six months old. A correlation value of 0.543 means that the mother's level of knowledge has a strong relationship with the provision of MP ASI to infants under 6 months old. The conclusion of the study, there is a relationship between the level of mother's knowledge and the provision of MP-ASI to infants under six months at Posyandu Kenanga Desa Labruk Lor in 2022. The suggestions are that research sites should conduct counseling activities related to exclusive breastfeeding and MP-ASI provision to increase mothers' knowledge.

Abstract

Child health problems in Indonesia are affected by the high infant mortality rate (IMR). One of the reasons for the high infant mortality rate in Indonesia is the low level of breastfeeding immediately after birth (initiation of breastfeeding) and exclusive breastfeeding. This study aimed to determine the relationship between mothers' knowledge and exclusive breastfeeding in the working area of the sub-district health center. This study used an analytic survey study using a cross-sectional method. Data was collected using a questionnaire with a sample of 81 mothers with children aged 0-6 months, taking samples with purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test. Characteristics of the last educational research respondents 30 (37%) had junior high school education. The employment status of housewives was 34 (42%), 21 (25.9%) private, and 15 (18.5%) farmers. The average maternal age at productive age was 20-35, namely 46 (56.8%) mothers. The level of knowledge of mothers about exclusive breastfeeding mostly has a sufficient level of understanding of as many as 39 (48.1%) mothers. Mother behavior of infants aged 0-6 months mostly gave exclusive breastfeeding to their babies, as many as 47 (58%) mothers. There is a significant relationship between mothers' knowledge level about exclusive breastfeeding and exclusive breastfeeding to infants aged 0-6 months in the working area of the Krai health center with a p-value of 0.001. Mothers should actively ask midwives to explain the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding to motivate mothers to provide it to their babies.

Abstract

There are still incidents of patients falling while undergoing treatment at health facilities, requiring us as officers to look for various prevention efforts, improve patient safety support facilities, and involve all patient caretakers' families to jointly care for patients around them who are at risk of falling. This study aims to see efforts to optimize the role of other families in preventing the risk of falling. This type of research is qualitative, involving eight main informants from the head of the room and eight additional informants from the families of waiting for patients at RSUD Dr. H. Koesnadi Bondowoso. This research was conducted from 26 February to 24 March 2023 by collecting data through unstructured interviews, in-depth observation, and documentation studies. The data obtained was verified by triangulation of sources and techniques. The conclusion shows that efforts to prevent the risk of falling by optimizing the role of the patient's family are very effective because the patient's family feels happy by paying attention to the presence of patients around them, especially those wearing yellow marker bracelets so that the presence of the waiting family besides paying attention to the patient's family can also take a role by paying attention to other patients surrounding.

Abstract

Based On the Theory of Planned Behaviour perspective, basic life support intention is determined by attitudes, perception of a social norm, perceived self-efficacy, and control ability in performing basic life support. This study analyzed the validity and reliability of the basic life support intention questionnaire, designed to measure basic life support intention among nurses. A total of 48 items were developed based on literature reviews encompassing four main constructs: attitude, social norms, self-efficacy, and control ability. The questionnaire then underwent a validation process, including construct and content validity (CVI) and reliability analysis.  This study was conducted on nurses in Dr. Soebandi Hospital Jember. The questionnaire was distributed to 160 nurses, of whom only 80 questionnaires were returned. The results of the CVI test on 36 questionnaire statements found that the CVI value was in the range 0,85-1. In comparison, the results of the construct validity test on 48 questionnaire statements were found to be valid and obtained 21 statement items. Reliability test-retest results obtained a coefficient correlation value of 0,75 and an alpha value of 0,669, which means it is reliable. The final set of basic life support intentions consisted of 21 items measuring attitude (four items), social norms (seven items), self-efficacy (six items), and control ability (four items) of practicing basic life support intention. The basic life support intention questionnaire was shown to be valid and reliable.

Abstract

Forecasting is the science of predicting future events using final data. DHF is an infectious disease caused by mosquitoes carrying the dengue virus. Based on data from the Ministry of Health for 2020, there were 95,893 cases, with 661 cases dying. This study aimed to determine the number of patient cases in the future and the influence of climate factors on DHF in Tabanan Hospital. Prediction analysis in this study using the Linear regression method. Evaluation of measurement measurements using MAPE and significance tests, namely the F test and t-test to determine the magnitude of the influence of the independent variables on the dependent variable. This study resulted in a prediction of DHF at Tabanan Hospital in the 65th period of May 2022, totaling 74 DHF cases with an accuracy of the MAPE forecasting error rate of 16.99% in the good category. The F test shows a significance value of 0.31, more significant than the value of α (0.05), and the variable’s rainfall, air temperature, and air humidity do not significantly affect DHF cases. The results of the regression test with the t-test showed that the t-count Rainfall is -1,615 with a significance value of 0.11 > 0.05 where the t-count is a negative value which means that if rainfall increases, then the risk of DHF will decrease, the t value counts Temperature air is 0.278 with a significance value of 0.78 > 0.05, the t value for air humidity is 1.845 with a significance value of 0.07 > 0.05. With accurate prediction results, it is hoped that Tabanan Hospital management can improve hospital services and services.
