Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui, Hubungan Hasil Uji Tulis Seleksi Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru dengan Indeks Prestasi Komulatif Mahasiswa Akademi Terapi Wicara. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada mahasiswa Akademi Terapi Wicara angkatan 2015 yang telah lulus Uji Tulis Seleksi Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru dan sudah mempunyai hasil prestasi belajarnya dengan dinyatakan lulus mengikuti pendidikan DIII Terapi Wicara tahun 2018 dengan memperoleh Indeks P, dengan sampel mahasiswa yang berjumlah 37 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik uji coba terpakai menggunakan korelasi parsial. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa, hasil analisa data korelasi parsial diperoleh rhitung = 0.289 rhitung = 0.289, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Hasil Uji Tulis Seleksi Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru terhadap Indeks Prestasi Komulatif mahasiswa Akademi Terapi Wicara angkatan tahun 2015 yang telah lulus pada tahun 2018.

Abstract

Latah menurut DSM IV-TR merupakan Culture bound syndrome, hanya terjadi di negara-negara Asia Tenggara. Latah adalah gangguan psikologis yang identik dengan tingkah laku yang dianggap lucu oleh orang-orang disekitarnya. sebagian masyarakat, perilaku latah dianggap sebagai tren, karena orang-orang yang mengalami kelatahan cenderung memiliki banyak teman karena mereka dianggap dapat menghibur dengan kelatahannya. Seorang penderita latah sangat berkemungkinan besar memiliki kecemasan karena ketika penderita latah diganggu secara terus menerus, maka ia akan merasa kelelahan dan merasa tidak ingin merasakan hal seperti itu lagi lalu kemudian lebih memilih untuk menghindar ketimbang harus mengalami hal-hal yang membuatnya lelah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami gambaran faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kecemasan pada seorang wanita yang mengalami kelatahan. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Teknik sampling yang peneliti gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Non-random sampling atau Non-probability sampling. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti memilih metode wawancara semi-terstruktur dan observasi partisipan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa faktor utama yang mempengaruhi kecemasan subjek antara lain : Lingkungan (lingkungan sekitar rumah, lingkungan tempat kerja, dan lingkungan keluarga), emosi-emosi yang ditekan, dan sebab-sebab fisik.

Abstract

verbal communication is studied primarily through the auditory modality. Adverse impact on language development, cognition, academics, including verbal communication when there is a decrease in hearing sensitivity. Hearing loss will result in a reduced ability to understand and produce intelligible speech.

Abstract

down syndrome is the most common chromosomal disorder that causes intellectual disability. Articulation disorder is one of the symptoms found in down syndrome. The condition is affected by macroglossia, muscle hypotonia, lack of control over lips and tongue and motor deficiency. The need for early intervention through speech therapy, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy as well as medical attention for various health problems that occur.

Abstract

Dysaudia is a speech disorder associated with auditory feedback problems, which can occur due to hearing loss. Articulation is an important part of speech, and children with hearing problem need immediate help to improve their slow pronunciation skills due to hearing loss. One method of treating deaf children is to Learning to listen. By relying on the remaining hearing, this method aims to help children detect sounds and associate sounds with objects.

Abstract

Down syndrome is a chromosomal abnormality that occurs during the prenatal period. This condition causes a child to experience several disorders, one of which is receptive language disorder or understanding. This receptive language disorder can occur due to short-term memory impairment. Seeing this, an intervention is needed to optimise the receptive language skills of children with Down syndrome.

Abstract

Speech intelligibility is an important factor in verbal communication. Children with intellectual disabilities with intellectual disabilities will face difficulties in communicating due to reduced speech intelligibility. This condition will affect social skills, mental mental state, and academics. Articulatory misplacement is one of the factor that makes difficulties in articulation accuracy.

Abstract

Several studies have shown that speech sound disorders in children with intellectual disabilities impact communication with their environment. They have more difficulty with expressive language and speech intelligibility than receptive. Interventions are needed to improve speech skills, especially in articulation skills.

Abstract

Latah is a fluency rhythm disorder where people who experience latah have the characteristic of repeating other people's speech or their speech. So that it prevents the message from being perfectly. people who experience fatigue feel embarrassed about their latitude so they often avoid interacting with other people and they are annoyed, tired, and anxious about their latitude. There is still little research on handling this talkativeness, which is the reason for carrying out this research.
