Epistemic games are a problem-solving strategy used by students in the process of finding solutions to a given problem. This study aims to determine the epistemic game that is owned by students in solving Newton's law application problems. The method used is a qualitative method in which student problem-solving strategies are identified in six games. The research subjects were students taking physics and biology courses. Data collection uses interviews and concept understanding tests about the application of Newton's law. The results showed that students used different games between each other to solve Newton's law application problems. The epistemic games that students have include mapping meaning to mathematics, physical mechanism, pictorial analysis, and transliteration to mathematics. Students use different games with each other to solve Newton's law application problems. The process by which students determine the solution to the problem-solving application of Newton's law is influenced by their' understanding of the material. This research is limited in the form of an epistemic game analysis of the application of Newton's law, so that further research can be carried out on other material concepts.

One of the factors in students' actions that affects their level of critical thinking skills is their activeness in asking questions as a student's perspective to find answers to facts and certainty about some things that are not yet understood. This study aims to determine the relationship between the activeness of asking questions of class VIII students and the ability to think critically in science learning at Junior High School YP. KH. Syamsuddin Ponorogo. This research is quantitative and uses quantitative data analysis methods. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires. The results of the study show that the significance value according to the test results is equal to 0.004, which indicates that the significance value is less than 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship or correlation; the more students are active in learning, the higher the critical thinking skills possessed by students. Vice versa, the lower the activity of students during learning, the lower their critical thinking skills will be.

Application of local values in Sibolga City in learning at school will certainly help students recognize local potential and the culture around it. Efforts where students are capable of knowing the scientific names of the types of fish around them. This experiment aims to describe the results of the development of a biological module based on the local potential of fish species in Sibolga waters to determine the development of a valid, practical, and effective module in animalia material. This research was conducted at Senior High School Darur Rachmad which is located at Kerala, Sibolga, Sambas, Sibolga City. The subjects studied were students of class X consisting of 30 students. This study uses the ADDIE development model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The instruments used in this research were questionnaires and pretest-posttest question sheets. Based on the research results, the N-gain score on the students' pretest and posttest was 0.77 with the high criteria. So, converted into a percentage to measure effectiveness, a value of 77% was obtained in the effective category. The results of research on the development of biology modules based on the local potential of fish species in Sibolga waters are expected to increase student achievement.

The purpose of the study is to determine how applying multimedia interactive learning based on problem-based learning affects students in the XI IPA grade at Senior High School’s cognitive learning outcomes and critical thinking skills. Purposive sampling and a nonrandomized control group pretest-posttest design are employed in this quasi-experimental study design. Students from class XI IPA 5 (the experimental class) and class XI IPA 6 (the control class) were the samples used; each was assigned a pretest and a posttest. The study's instruments comprise non-tests such as observation sheets for syntax execution, double-choice tests for cognitive learning outcomes, and essays for critical thinking skills. The treatment instruments include learning gadgets and measurement instruments. The findings of the cognitive learning exam yielded an Fcount of 18,375 with a p-value of 0.000 < α (α = 0.05) when analyzed, whereas the results of the critical thinking skills test yielded an Fcount of 18,648 with a p-value of 0.000 < α (α = 0.05). The test results of the hypothesis showed that H0 was rejected and the research hypotheses were accepted. In order to draw the conclusion that the application of multimedia interactive learning based on problem-based learning improved the cognitive learning outcomes and critical thinking skills of eleventh grade students at Senior High School.

This project aims to provide students with lab practice that is completely genuine, to learn about their practice habits, and to inspire them to study after utilizing the created physics lab practice. This study is a type of development utilizing physics lab practice use 4-dimensional learning tools. Utilizing confirmation of reasoning, observation, and questionnaire. The evaluation of the virtual lab yielded the logic validation value 2,78 and they are considered reliable and safe for usage as a trial for development. The development testing revealed that the students work passed muster with the help of the physics virtual laboratory baseds instructions, either on the capacity for observation and note taking or the capacity for interpretation and illustration. The results of the development test showed that the students practicum performance in all practicums, in the aspect of ability to observe and record practicum results, was in the good category with a range between 61.37% and 92.93%, and in the aspect of ability to interpret the results and formulate conclusions, it was categorized as good with a range between 65.15% and 96.97%. The virtual laboratory based physical practicum instructions that were developed obtained validity in the good category and are suitable for use as a guide for physical teachers and students in carrying out practicums.
