Abstract

A web-based application can help business managers manage inventory, track customer orders, and optimize business processes including sales and marketing. Currently, the process of buying and selling catfish fry at RAY Catfish Palembang is still simple, namely recorded in the sales transaction book. This can lead to a number of difficulties such as difficulty in recording the number of stocks, time-consuming ordering process, both recording orders, checking the available fry stocks, and irregular reporting. The software development method used in this study is the Waterfall method as the system design method. Then the Atomic Design concept will be applied in the design of the system design. A good website system design can provide optimal user experience. Atomic Design is a design methodology consisting of five stages that work together to create a hierarchical user interface design system, starting from atoms, molecules, organisms, templates, to pages. The use of repetitive components can produce efficient and consistent designs. With the presence of a web-based freshwater fish fry sales application, it can facilitate RAY Catfish Palembang managers in tracking inventory and sales, as well as increasing efficiency in ordering and selling catfish fry.

Abstract

The personnel information system at PT This system aims to provide an efficient means of managing personnel data, including employee leave, punishment, and the recruitment process for prospective employees at PT XYZ. By implementing this system, the main goal is to improve the company's performance in managing personnel information. This system was planned and developed using the Rational Unified Process (RUP) method, with a website-based approach as a prototype. The stages include Inception, Elaboration, Construction, and Transition. The needs analysis process is carried out by collecting information from documents and conducting interviews related to ongoing business processes. The implementation of this design is the development of a web-based application. Apart from that, in making this application, the PHP programming language, code igniter and MySQL database were used. The conclusion from implementing this system is the hope of increasing efficiency in managing personnel information at PT XYZ.

Abstract

Achievement ambassadors are school icons who are able to be role models and be a good instance to others and share information about the school’s potential with the wider community so that they are interested in the school. The selection of achievement ambassadors at SMK Negeri Sumsel is still subjective (individual) based on the jury’s assaessment. With this subjective assessment process, the author encountered a problem, by the frequent occurrence od miscalculations in determining achievement ambassadors. Based on the problem, the author designed and implemented a decision support system for selecting achievement ambassadors using a simple multi attribute rating method as a calculation method and a prototype as a system development method. By creating this application, the author hopes to be able to overcome that accur during the process of selecting achievement ambassadors.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the precision of three primary predictive algorithms—ID3, naïve bayes, and SVM (SVM)—optimized using the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm for detecting and predicting heart attacks. The methodology involves comparing these algorithms as tools for categorizing data into relevant groups and optimizing them using PSO to enhance prediction accuracy. Data from kaggle and uci repositories are managed using RapidMiner. The study reveals accuracy results: the ID3 algorithm achieves 75.20% accuracy with AUC 0.735, post-PSO optimization increases accuracy to 80.49% with AUC 0.815. The naïve bayes algorithm attains 81.52% accuracy with AUC 0.890, post-PSO optimization enhances accuracy to 83.94% with AUC 0.901. The SVM (SVM) algorithm records 82.13% accuracy with AUC 0.895, post-PSO optimization boosts accuracy to 84.83% with AUC 0.900.

Abstract

The data collection process still uses a simple method, namely using a paper form to collect stock taking data for all items and using a stock card to collect data on goods. This research aims to create a web-based inventory application that can reduce the risk of errors compared to a manual recording system. The method used is the RAD method. This method is an information system development method that is considered to emphasize short development cycles, so it is considered appropriate to use in developing this system. RAD uses an iterative method in developing a system. The stages that support this method are define the requirements, prototype, receive feedback, and finalize software. The results of this research are a web-based goods inventory application interface that is used to collect goods data and create stock taking reports quickly and accurately.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 4 Palembang has an online exam application called Bee Smart. Bee Smart is an application used to make it easier for students to take Mid-Semester Exams and Final Semester Exams. This research aims to find out what factors influence the acceptance of the Bee Smart online exam application at SMK Negeri 4 Palembang using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) method. Based on the results of the correlation test, it shows that the variables are interconnected with the highest value of 0.896. Based on the f test and t test, the results show that there is a simultaneous and partial influence because the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05. This shows that all hypotheses are accepted, meaning that users of the Bee Smart online exam application accept the Bee Smart application at SMK Negeri 4 Palembang as a means to simplify the school exam process.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the intern control system of drug procurement based on BLUD funds. The descriptive qualitative method was used with data sources in the form of interviews, observations and documentation at dr. Moewardi Surakarta Regional General Hospital (RSDM). The flow of drug procurement both conventional and E-Purchasing ISP is presented through a flowchart, and this intern control system evaluation emphasizes the COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations) concept. Although the flow of drug procurement is in accordance with applicable policies and regulations and the results show that this intern control system is appropriate, there are still shortcomings that require improvement. The conclusion of this study is that RSDM needs to strengthen intern controls to prevent potential irregularities, providing a foundation for increasing effectiveness in meeting drug needs according to applicable procedures. This evaluation is a guide for improving the intern control system to achieve organizational goals more efficiently.

Abstract

Pramula High School is one of the schools in the city of Palembang. Many of the students at this school are economically disadvantaged, Pramula High School and the Pramula Foundation provide social assistance to less fortunate students. However, the assessment process is still carried out manually which takes a long time and the assessment results can still be manipulated by irresponsible individuals so that the provision of assistance is not on target to those in need. The aim of this research is to create a decision support system for providing assistance. which can provide fair results as an assessment for providing assistance so that it is right on target and shortens the calculation process, creating a system using the TOPSIS method as a calculation method, the prototype method is used as a system development method. The results of this TOPSIS calculation will produce fair values ​​and values ​​that have been sorted from largest to smallest. The system can provide accurate score results and cannot be manipulated so that schools can provide social assistance on target.

Abstract

PT. Bangun Cipta Anugrah Abadi is a company operating in the field of house or real estate development. This company has several problems, namely, the company is still not optimal in searching for personnel data so there is a lack of control over personnel data, leave applications are still made with a leave application letter so it is difficult for employees to know the status of the leave that has been applied for. PT. Bangun Cipta Anugrah Abadi requires a personnel information system that can provide convenience for administration and employees in carrying out the process of managing personnel data. This personnel system was created using the RUP (Rational Unified Process) methodology, using the UML (Rational Unified Process) model as a design model, using PHP and JavaScript programming languages, and using supporting applications such as Visual Studio Code, XAMPP, MySQL as DBMS (Database Management System), and CodeIgniter 4 Framework. The results of developing this personnel information system can overcome the problems currently being experienced by PT. Bangun Cipta Anugrah Abadi.

Abstract

This research aims to address two crucial issues in the world of shark conservation, namely the decline in the number of shark species facing the risk of extinction and the difficulty in distinguishing visually between several similar shark species. To achieve this goal, the research applies the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method with the ResNet-50 architecture. The decision to use the ResNet-50 architecture is based on its ability to handle complex training issues, computational efficiency, and high performance in image recognition. The dataset used consists of 1497 images of sharks, divided into training data, validation data, and test data with a ratio of 60:20:20. Each image is resized to 224x224 pixels to facilitate analysis. The results of the study indicate that the method used successfully classified 14 species of sharks effectively, with an average accuracy of 96.16%. This discovery provides new hope in shark conservation efforts and opens opportunities for the development of similar methods to safeguard the sustainability of shark populations in the future.
