Abstract

Playing angklung music for early childhood is one of the leading programs in several PAUD units that seek to preserve culture from an early age. However, the development of the era and changes in lifestyle are challenges in maintaining the existence of traditional games such as angklung. Teachers' views have an important role in determining the feasibility and effectiveness of angklung playing activities for early childhood. This study aims to describe teachers' perspectives on angklung playing activities for early childhood. This study is a descriptive qualitative study. The subjects of the study were teachers at ABA Sapen Kindergarten Yogyakarta who were involved in angklung playing activities with children. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that teachers supported angklung playing activities because they were able to stimulate aspects of child development, introduce culture from an early age, and be a medium to foster children's interests and talents. The conclusion of this study is that playing angklung in PAUD received a positive response from teachers and has important implications for developing children's potential holistically.   ABSTRAK Bermain musik angklung pada anak usia dini menjadi salah satu program unggulan di beberapa satuan PAUD yang berupaya melestarikan budaya sejak dini. Namun, perkembangan zaman dan perubahan gaya hidup menjadi tantangan dalam mempertahankan eksistensi permainan tradisional seperti angklung. Pandangan guru memiliki peran penting dalam menentukan kelayakan dan efektivitas kegiatan bermain angklung bagi anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perspektif guru terhadap kegiatan bermain musik angklung pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru-guru di TK ABA Sapen Yogyakarta yang terlibat dalam kegiatan bermain angklung bersama anak-anak. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa para guru mendukung kegiatan bermain musik angklung karena dinilai dapat menstimulasi aspek perkembangan anak, mengenalkan budaya sejak dini, serta menjadi media untuk menumbuhkan minat dan bakat anak. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa kegiatan bermain angklung di PAUD mendapat respons positif dari guru dan memiliki implikasi penting dalam pengembangan potensi anak secara holistik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of understanding of caregivers in stimulating children's cognitive and social emotional development. This study was conducted at the Child Care Center (TPA) in Gunungpati District, Semarang City, which was carried out in June 2025. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey method. Data were collected through a 1-4 Likert scale questionnaire compiled based on child development indicators, supplemented by field observations, unstructured interviews, and documentation of children's activities. The subjects of this study were 31 caregivers. Using quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The results of the study show that the majority of caregivers have a very good understanding of cognitive aspects, such as encouraging children to tell stories, observing the environment, and recording children's thinking development periodically. However, understanding in social emotional aspects tends to be low, especially in terms of recognizing children's emotions and providing stimulation to form positive social skills. This finding emphasizes the importance of ongoing caregiver training that focuses not only on cognitive aspects, but also on a comprehensive understanding of children's emotions and behavior.   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman pengasuh dalam menstimulasi perkembangan kognitif dan sosial emoionak anak. Penelitain ini dilakukan di Tempat Penitipan Anak (TPA) Kecamatan Gunungpati, Kota Semarang yang dilaksanakan pada bulan juni 2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner skala likert 1-4 yang disusun berdasarkan indikator perkembangan anak, dilengkapi dengan observasi lapangan, wawancara tidak terstruktur, dan dokumentasi kegiatan anak. Adapun subyek penelitain dalam ini yaitu pengasuh sebanyak 31. Menggunakan teknik analisis data statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitain menunjukan bahwa mayoritas pengasuh memiliki pemahaman yang sangat baik dalam aspek kognitif, seperti mendorong anak bercerita, mengamati lingkungan, serta mencatat perkembangan berpikir anak secara berkala. Namun, pemahaman dalam aspek sosial emosional cenderung masih rendah, khususnya dalam hal mengenali emosi anak dan memberikan stimulasi untuk membentuk keterampilan sosial yang positif. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pelatihan pengasuh secara berkelanjutan yang tidak hanya berfokus pada aspek kognitif, tetapi juga pada pemahaman menyeluruh terhadap emosi dan perilaku anak.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement in early reading skills in children aged 5-6 years through the application of digital pop-up book learning media at Tunas Kartini Kindergarten in Semarang, Semarang City. The approach used in this study is a quantitative experimental approach with a Pre-Experimental Design and One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects in this study were children aged 5-6 years. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, using the entire population of 30 children aged 5-6 years at Tunas Kartini Kindergarten in Semarang City. Data analysis techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used inferential statistics with hypothesis testing using the Paired Sample T-Test. The results of the study using hypothesis testing with a t-value of 44.75 sig (2-tailed) of 0.000 were less than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05), so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, meaning that there was a significant difference in children's early reading skills before and after treatment. The results of the n-gain test were 2.59, thus indicating that the application of digital pop-up book learning media in improving children's early reading skills was at a high level. This shows that digital pop-up book learning can be used to improve early reading skills in children.   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan membaca awal pada anak usia 5-6 tahun melalui penerapan media pembelajaran pop-up book digital di TK Tunas Kartini Semarang, Kota Semarang. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen kuantitatif dengan rancangan Pre-Experimental Design dan One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjek dala m penelitian ini adalah anak usia 5-6 tahun. Teknik yang dilakukan dalam pengembilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh dengan meggunakan seluruh populasi sebanyak 30 anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Tunas Kartini Semarang, Kota Semarang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, kuisioner dan dokumentasi. Tenik analisis data menggunakan statistic imferensial dengan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Paired Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan uji hipotesis dengan nilai thitung sebesar 44,75 sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 lebih kecil 0,05 (0,000 <0,05), sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha di terima, artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan membaca awal anak sebelum dan sesudah diperlakukannya sebuah treatment. Adapun hasil dari uji n-gain sebesar 2,59, dengan demikian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media pembelajaran pop-up book digital dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca awal anak-anak berada pada kriteria tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran pop-up book digital dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca awal pada anak.

Abstract

This study is a scoping review aimed at mapping empirical findings regarding the role of Lego play in enhancing the creativity of early childhood (EC) children. Out of 85 identified articles, 23 studies met the inclusion criteria based on the Arksey & O’Malley framework and PRISMA-ScR. The review results indicate that Lego consistently improves children's creativity, especially in aspects of fluency of ideas, flexibility, and originality. Additionally, Lego also contributes to the development of fine motor skills, cognitive abilities, and socio-emotional development through constructive activities and cooperation during play. Although the findings show strong benefits, most studies still have limitations such as small sample sizes, varying creativity instruments, and designs without control groups. Future research is recommended to use more robust designs and standardized instruments. Overall, Lego has proven to be an effective educational medium for stimulating creativity and holistic development in children.   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan scoping review yang bertujuan memetakan temuan empiris mengenai peran permainan Lego dalam meningkatkan kreativitas anak usia dini (AUD). Dari 85 artikel yang diidentifikasi, 23 studi memenuhi kriteria inklusi berdasarkan kerangka Arksey & O’Malley serta PRISMA-ScR. Hasil review menunjukkan bahwa Lego secara konsisten meningkatkan kreativitas anak, terutama pada aspek kelancaran ide, fleksibilitas, dan orisinalitas. Selain itu, Lego juga berkontribusi pada perkembangan motorik halus, kognitif, dan sosial-emosional melalui aktivitas konstruktif dan kerja sama saat bermain. Meskipun temuan menunjukkan manfaat yang kuat, sebagian besar studi masih memiliki keterbatasan berupa ukuran sampel kecil, instrumen kreativitas yang bervariasi, dan desain tanpa kelompok kontrol. Penelitian mendatang direkomendasikan menggunakan desain yang lebih kuat dan instrumen terstandarisasi. Secara keseluruhan, Lego terbukti sebagai media edukatif yang efektif untuk menstimulasi kreativitas dan perkembangan holistik anak

Abstract

Stunting is caused by multidimensional factors, not only by poor nutrition experienced by pregnant women and toddlers. The most decisive intervention to reduce the prevalence of stunting therefore needs to be carried out in the First 1,000 Days of Life of toddlers. Some of the contributing factors include poor parenting practices, including a lack of maternal knowledge about health and nutrition during pregnancy and after childbirth. Prevention and Management of Stunting through stunting education, fulfillment of balanced nutrition and public health, premarital education and assistance, education during pregnancy, postpartum, and breastfeeding, education and socialization about food consumption, sanitation and clean water, and community empowerment to overcome stunting through poverty alleviation. The study aims to prevent and overcome stunting, from education and the provision of KKA media as a monitoring of child growth and development. The research method uses a quasi-experimental one-group pre and post-test design to determine the effect of KKA media on maternal knowledge about the growth and development of children aged 0-24 months in Jabungan Village, Tembalang District. The study found significant changes in mothers' knowledge before and after intervention using KKA media (p-value 0.009). The use of KKA as a growth and development monitoring tool is highly relevant and has the potential to be an effective strategy in supporting the prevention of stunting and developmental delays in children aged 0–24 months.   ABSTRAK Stunting disebabkan oleh faktor multi dimensi tidak hanya disebabkan oleh faktor gizi buruk yang dialami oleh ibu hamil maupun anak balita. Intervensi yang paling menentukan untuk dapat mengurangi pervalensi stunting oleh karenanya perlu dilakukan pada 1.000 Hari Pertama Kehidupan (HPK) dari anak balita. Beberapa faktor yang menjadi penyebab diantaranya praktek pengasuhan yang kurang baik, termasuk kurangnya pengetahuan ibu mengenai kesehatan dan gizi pada masa kehamilan, dan setelah ibu melahirkan. Pencegahan dan Penanganan Stunting melalui edukasi stunting, pemenuhan gizi seimbang dan, kesehatan masyarakat, edukasi dan pendampingan pranikah, edukasi pendampingan kehamilan, pasca melahirkan, dan menyusui, edukasi dan sosialisasi tentang makanan yang perlu dikonsumsi, sanitasi dan air bersih, serta pemberdayaan masyarakat untuk penanggulangan stunting melalui pengentasan kemiskinan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk pencegahan dan penanggulangan stunting, dari edukasi serta pemberian media KKA sebagai pemantauan tumbuh dan kembang anak. Metode penelitian menggunakan quasi experiment one-group pre and post test design untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari media KKA terhadap pengetahuan ibu tentang pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak usia 0-24 bulan di Kelurahan Jabungan, Kec. Tembalang. Hasil penelitan diperoleh terdapat perubahan yang bermakna dari pengetahuan ibu sebelum dan sesudah diberi intervensi menggunakan media KKA (p-value 0,009). Pemanfaatan KKA sebagai alat pemantauan tumbuh kembang menjadi sangat relevan dan berpotensi menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam mendukung pencegahan stunting dan keterlambatan perkembangan pada anak usia 0–24 bulan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of marketing management in PAUD institutions to increase enrollment, using a case study of PAUD Nasima in Semarang City, Central Java. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The results indicate that PAUD Nasima has implemented the most effective marketing mix steps, including segmentation, targeting, positioning, and marketing mix implementation. Similarly, digital marketing strategies are implemented through marketing communications on Instagram, WhatsApp, and TikTok. This study concludes that implementing the marketing mix and digital marketing has proven effective in increasing enrollment in PAUD. The study recommends to PAUD institutions integrate educational quality into their marketing mix and online marketing to reach their target enrollment.   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi manajemen pemasaran di lembaga PAUD guna meningkatkan jumlah pendaftar, dengan studi kasus di PAUD Nasima, Kota Semarang, Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil studi menunjukkan PAUD Nasima telah menerapkan langkah-langkah bauran pemasaran yang paling efektif, mulai dari segmentasi, targeting, positioning, hingga penerapan bauran pemasaran. Demikian halnya strategi digital marketing diterapkan melalui komunikasi pemasaran di instagram, WhatApp, dan Tiktok. Studi ini menyimpukan implimentasi marketing mix  dan digital marketing terbukti efektif berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan jumlah pendaftar di PAUD.  Penelitian ini merekomendasikan lembaga PAUD untuk mengintegrasikan kualitas pendidikan sebagai bauran pemasaran dan pemasaran online untuk mencapai target pendaftar.
