Aim Jurnal Penelitian is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research on various aspects of religiosity, Islam, and culture in Indonesia. As a predominantly Muslim country, Indonesia is home to a diverse range of local cultures. Islam, which originated outside of Indonesia, brought with it not only religious doctrines but also cultural influences. The interaction between Islam— as the majority religion— and the unique cultural identity of Indonesia is a central theme of the journal. The journal focuses on exploring the dynamics between Islam and Indonesian identity, examining how the two intersect and influence each other. Scope The dynamics between Islam and Indonesian identity enable a diverse range of scientific studies. Therefore, the scope of Jurnal Penelitian includes issues related to: - The relationship between Islam and local culture in Indonesia, - Islamic movements vis-a-vis the state in Indonesia, - Mainstreaming religious moderation in Indonesia, - Islamic education and appreciation of local culture in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study seeks to uncover the quality of 40 hadith on NU foundations, the religious and social background of their writing and selection, and the classification of themes contained in the book Arbaíina Haditsan Tataíallaqu bi Mabadiíi Nahdlat al-Ulamaí. This study revealed that the quality of the hadith varies between shaheeh, hasan, and dhaif. The themes range from da'wah/commanding the good and forbidding the evil, leadership, worship, adherence to the Sunnah, morality, and unity. Meanwhile, the religious and social context was influenced by both global and local situations.

Abstract

This is qualitative research that aims to describe the suitability of teaching Arabic books (class I and IV) in MI using KTSP curriculum with Content and Competency Standards set government policy, and a description of the book to teach Arabic MI is needed to cope with the new curriculum in 2013. The method used is a qualitative method, using content analysis of BSNP (National Education Standards Agency) and needs analysis. Suitability of the Arabic book by SK KD government set on average for class I applied sufficiently and still need to be further improved. As for class IV, SK KD can be applied with good and balanced, but to listening competencies, especially in the identification of letters hijaiyah not get enough servings. There are two possible models that can be created for teach book in the coming school year, the first is a thematic integrative book of PAI MI according to the new curriculum in 2013, or second is a Arabic books MI generally for the new school year.

Abstract

This research examines the Risalah al-Falak Nurul Anwar min Muntaha al-Aqwal fi Maírifah Hisab al-Sinin wa al-Hilal wa al-Khusuf ala Haqīqī bi al-Tahqīq bi Rasd al-Jadid, the work of KH. Nur Ahmad, SS, using content analysis. The results are: First, the book calculations algorithm in terms of determining the beginning of the month Qamariyah fall under hisab Haqiqi bi al-Tahqīq. While Spherical Trigonometry is the basis for its theory and calculation. Second, in the making process, the book used Badīíah al-Mitsāl and al-Khulāsah al-Wāfiah as reference. This literature research also found that the trend of the data is taken from the book of Badīíah al-Mitsāl, while the calculation is taken from the book of al-Khulāsah al-Wāfiah, by adapting the rules of modern astronomy.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine whether financial ratio was a predictor to predict future bond ratings, and which one was significant. This study concentrates on techniques to predict bond ratings. Bond rating is important because these rankings provide an informative statement and provide a signal about the probability of default of a company's debt. The Islamic bond companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and assessed by rating agencies PEFINDO in 2009-2011 were used to answer the research question. Leverage (LTLTA), liquidity (CaCl), solvency (CFOTL), profitability (OIS), and productivity (STA) were used as variable of financial ratio. This study examined the financial ratios that can establish sharia bond rating prediction model using discriminant analysis (MDA). The results were: (1) there were different level of Islamic bond in financial ratios of liquidity (CaCl), solvency (CFOTL), profitability (OIS), and productivity (STA); (2) financial ratios, that could form the prediction model of Islamic bonds ranking, were CaCl, OIS, STA, (3) the accuracy level of the formed model were 94.3%.

Abstract

Because of their strength, charisma, knowledge, authority in the boarding school, influential leverage, expertise, and social networks, Kyai Pesantren have the potential to market Islamic Financial Institutions by creating buzz and word-of-mouth (WoM) marketing. Their role as marketers could include: (1) providing education and learning on Islamic economics, Islamic financial institutions, and fiqh muamalah; (2) building several business units to teach their students operational and practical aspects of Islamic economics; (3) serving as members of the Sharia Supervisory Board in existing Islamic financial institutions as guardians of Sharia compliance; and (4) disseminating information about the role of Islamic financial institutions to the community when delivering lectures.

Abstract

The success of an institution is influenced by the level of employee performance. This study identified two main issues: (1) employee performance at STAIN Pekalongan based on tenure, age, and gender; and (2) the factors influencing employee performance. The results show that, first, based on tenure, employees with more than 10 years of service demonstrate average performance (mean score 3.95 or 79%); those with tenure ≥5 and <10 years also show average performance (mean score 4.00 or 80%); while employees with less than 5 years of service demonstrate high performance (mean score 4.04 or 81%). Based on age, employees over 35 years old show average performance (mean score 3.96 or 79.2%), whereas those under 35 years old demonstrate high performance (mean score 4.03 or 81%). Based on gender, male employees demonstrate high performance (mean score 4.06 or 81.22%), while female employees show average performance (mean score 3.95 or 79.08%). Second, the factors influencing employee performance include a clean and well-organized workspace, job training, implementation of a fingerprint attendance system, salary increases, rewards for job performance, and changes in leadership.

Abstract

This study describes the psychological dynamics of Pesantren Salafiyah Syafiiyah Pekalongan early childhood students, which focused on their parenting, cognitive development, emotional and social behavior. Qualitative research data was obtained by interview, observation and documentation. The results of this study reveal: (1) caregivers parenting style were both on authoritarian and democratic. (2) types of parenting and child motivation on boarding school contribute to cognitive and psychosocial development of the child. Students who split up his guardian, and cared for on semi-authoritarian way will be less reasoning person, slow psychomotor skills, and less socialize. In contrast to students whom their parents support them and want their children to be good at lessons will master general science, able to memorize the Koran, and be better person.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of trust, satisfaction to the customers' loyalty that moderated by leadership of the board as a moderating variable. A total of 100 questionnaires with closed answer using a Likert scale were spread to 100 customers BTM Wiradesa, BMT Bahtera and Kospin Jasa Syariah in Pekalongan to answer the problem. The results showed that trust, satisfaction and leadership of the board, respectively had positive and significant effect on customers' loyalty. Meanwhile, the leadership of the board as a moderating variable is also positive and significant effect on customer loyalty.

Abstract

The implementation of Good University Governance's principles (accountability and responsiveness), academic culture, academic's service quality and initiatives in the STAIN Pekalongan’s academic society was tested in this study. Data were collected from three main internal stakeholders (students, staffs, and lecturers) using questionnaire and their perception differences were analyzed using non parametric test of difference. The results show that (1) the total averages results placed between 7.34 to 9.89 which means that research variables were at a medium level (2) lecturers' perceptions differ significantly from both staffs and students.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the rampant of batik female workers who worked with the Putting Out System (POS) and were marginalized in Pekalongan City. This study was aimed to answer the research questions: what was the marginalization form of women workers through the wage system and division of labor in the production chain based on POS was; the actors who were involved in the process; what factors caused it; and what was implications for women workers, their family and bosses inside production process as well as outside the production process. In-depth interview and observation were used to investigate data. Triangulation of data source and investigating method were also used to validate the investigated data. In addition, Interactive model was used to analyze. The results were: (1) the actors who played a role in the process of marginalization of women workers in Pekalongan batik is the boss, makloon, religious elite (Kyai / Ustazd - ah), and the state; (2) the cause root of that marginalization was manipulated by patriarchal and capitalism ideology; and (3) the implication of that marginalization for woman workers inside production process was that they were positioned as a production machine to make a profit. While the implications outside the production process, they still lived in poverty.
